Good guess. But no... Bit older. Was really the one who popularized skiing in the US. But, he wasn't born in the US. He died a few years ago @ 88. I got @BringBackFergy on retainer. You're toast! ๐๐

When flair was king and shaped skis weren't around to make everyone look like a pro: Even when he got old, he refused to open those knees up... I say I can't blame him! Not a speck of daylight coming through those legs! What famous skier? I thought it was in words? His nickname is on the back of that Grateful Dead album. ๐

Getting my 1st Covid vaccination Tuesday

Common cold is a coronavirus. My MIL got it a few weeks ago. Getting second one soon. Not one problem... She's 84. BUT she's 90 pounds soaking wet. The higher the BMI, they constant state of inflammation a body is in. Probably why some are getting reactions to the jab. BUT, it is better than getting it in the wild! Almost non-existant extreme reaction where one has to be hospitalized! It's what the vaxx should do! -
You tripping? I answered it correctly. Easy one. Seen this photo before. It's Bear. Bear Owsley. He designed: "Steal Your Face" and the high stepping Bears, not by him, but with him in mind... Was off of one of his earlier designs.

I always thought it was kinda obvious. I mean there is a big ocean that separates, but don't underestimate the power of what humans are capable of doing. Isn't there a theory out there that Chinese sailors made it to the Americas too? Like present day Mexico? "Pre-Columbian trans-oceanic contact theories speculate about possible visits to or interactions with the Americas, the indigenous peoples of the Americas, or both, by people from Africa, Asia, Europe, or Oceania at a time prior to Christopher Columbus' first voyage to the Caribbean in 1492 (i.e., during any part of the pre-Columbian era)." https://books.google.com/books?id=lmvUBAAAQBAJ&pg=PT9#v=onepage&q&f=false Man Across the Sea

Don't know why this comes to mind! LoL...

Interesting that like the pyramids in the America's everything is in the same latitude zones. I wonder if that has any connection? If humans were making contact with others across this zone. ??

He goes through the Fed Lock in Troy, they will give him top priority! ๐๐คฃ -
Yeah that's a good thing. NIMBY, better to die in IYBY. ๐ ๐๐๐

Over-reaching tree hugger logic... I am pretty sure the DECON embalms them, dries them out.. Pick your poison. One of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse: Pestilence or some overreacting theory about dead mice polluting our rambunctious garden. Keep the enviro hysterics alive! ๐
-
Sorry to hear! Put some DECON under the hood. If a mouse touches your wiring over those "mice Snickers bars" they are insane in the membrane. Just remember they're there so they don't go flying around in the fan! ๐คฃ๐คฃ House wiring can get nasty too. Code here has to have wiring in conduit/EMT... No Romex... Why there are strict codes in populated areas. Insurance companies want to COLLECT your premium money, NOT pay claims. Then there's Texas and the "cheap" South. They don't build anything to last down there. ๐คจ๐๐ ^^^Thank you! That was my NOT so veiled social commentary against the Dirty South and Insurance companies. ๐ Wouldn't your Auto Insurance or homeowner's cover it? You want your car smell like ammonia? Or... A return trip back from the Mother Inlaw's house... ๐

Try to run the vehicle every day or other day. That will keep them on their toes!

Losing a parent - when does it start to get easier?
ExiledInIllinois replied to Patience's topic in Off the Wall
I was 30 in 1999 when we lost our mother when she was 58. It never gets easier. It's been just over exactly 2 years since losing our father in 2019. We just lost my brother in December. -
Sorry Mike! YOU'RE in for it. You know I can't help it! ๐ I trust @Beerball to rise above the fray! Border collies are sure cute! I can't say as much for their co-workers!

You may finally have a lock & dam operator in the family! ๐๐คฃ Need a little extra family income? https://www.fox32chicago.com/news/dog-hired-to-keep-chicago-harbor-clean Special ShoutOut to: @Beerball @BringBackFergy @Gugny @Seasons1992 Suck it fellas... Some of the greatest lock ops on earth are border collies! That's ALL I got! ๐๐คฃ๐ AND She's SEASONAL. She'd be back in HHDS for the winter with all that dough! Think of the earning potential Mike!!! ๐...
