  1. Not same line of sight. NF is far west. Rochester is far east. But Rochester is "Beyond" NF. NF is closer. Buildings appear bigger on the horizon. Beyond to the horizon.
  2. That's way too close. The buildings are faint, tall and beyond N.Falls. Tree foliage down. Clear day. Door County is Niagara Escarpment. Same escarpment N.Falls flows over.
  3. Far right, east... Group of tall buildings on horizon at tree line. What else can it be? Nothing else is out there.
  4. You can see Niagara Falls from Chestnut Ridge, by the toboggan chutes/casino... AND some dispute it, on a clear day see Rochester off to east, but faint. No way Toronto across the Lake from Chestnut Ridge (I wanna say "Portage Escarpment)...
  5. That's getting right into the Yacht Rock era. Replace #12 w/#68
  6. You disgusting hippies! 😆🤣
  7. I think we were talking about playing guitar and singing at same time. The bassist accomplishing it on the Loggins version came to mind. Then Gug said he never heard the song or Stevie/Kenny version! That's how we got here! Anyway, I will take technical and a harder skill set than entertaining! Which I think Mayer accomplishes...
  8. Just looked it up. Made it up to #5 in 1978. Was actually written by Melissa Manchester and Loggins. She did a version with another dude. Logging and Manchester never got together to do a version, just wrote it, it one meeting. Missed this. Ooops. Me personally... Ain't big on the entertaining part, theatrics. But everyone probably knows that. 🤷 😆
  9. Really?? Actually... One of those pics is with Stevie and bassist George Hawkins (He passed away recently in 2018)... Here's his eulogy by Kenny: https://kennyloggins.com/rip-george-hawkins-jr/
  10. It maybe cheesy... But here's one of my guilty pleasure songs... AND I am a hairy enough man to admit it! 😆 We all know Kenny Loggins duet with Stevie Nicks... Ever hear the version when Loggins teamed up with his bassist: George Hawkins Jr. Few of the better comments: "If I tried to play the bass line to this and sing at the same time my brain would explode. Kudos to Mr. Bass Man." "This is the beardiest version of this song I've ever seen or heard." On that note. Bassists that sang lead: http://www.thecavanproject.com/13-bass-playing-lead-singers/ "The science behind it is that the bass is a rhythm instrument while the voice is a melodic instrument, and trying to do them at the same time can be “pat your tummy, rub your head” difficult. That’s not to say impossible as the following list of talented bass playing lead singers proves!" IMO... Mayer is better technically all around, singing included while actually playing is harder.
  11. Again, not an "Xs & Os" guy... But I noticed Joe Bonamassa stops playing a lot of times and sings separately. Maybe a bit more polished w/the show, but not better IMHO... Is it harder to sing and strum at same time?
  12. You're just watching because of the Speedos. 😉😜 Sicko! 😏
  13. It can be worse... The Cincinnati Reds during the 1950s "Red Scare" went by: the "Red Legs."
  14. 😆 I say fifty-eight hundred dollars. The Grizz' attorney is getting 33.3% leaving that poor bear with only thirty-eight hundred, sixty-six dollars before taxes. That's not even a week's vacation in Missoula!
  15. Kinda funny how names settle in. Back in the old, old days, teams had numerous nicknames and changed more often. Just this past June... Edmonton of CFL went back to the name they used for a year in 1922. Edmonton Elks. Still EE...
  16. Nice! 👍👍 Betcha that Grizz lawyered up and had Jackie Chiles on his legal team!
  17. It's because they aren't making the Beef on Weck to O.E.M specs with GRAVY! Who's bright idea was it to start throwing bland au jus on those things! Bougie food snobs, that's who!!! 😆... Special shout out to: @Gugny ^^^^And hey "Mutual Friend" I am prepared to fight you on this one... Don't even attempt to grab me, I might be packing! They're watching and will give a full report to the police! vvvvv @Mike in Horseheads @BringBackFergy @Beerball Anyway... It's just bar food, not supposed to be anything fancy or over done, fussed about.
  18. I think the amazing part that your missing is that he's able to play the guitar that way and even carry a single note. You're splitting hairs with his singing. I am not an Xs and Os guy... But since day one of releasing the song "Neon" even I could hear the intricacies. I know it's poppy... Maybe that's hard to get past. I guess we just agree to disagree how much of a feat this really is...Letting alone singing it. Like I said, not many out there. That doesn't mean they don't exist.
  19. What are you expecting? Prancing around like Mick Jagger? IMO... Meh... That's probably why he likes to play with Dead & Co. He's an introvert. Just think, of course he's gonna be a weak front man, he's prone to panic attacks. Yet, he gets through it...
  20. Come on... You gotta admit, not many can play this way:
  21. Yeah... You'd look like "that guy" w/the RebelWear... The with oppositional disorder. Anyway... It's really just a shift in the way the majority of people think. The old way is becoming the minority.
  22. You know what's really interesting... Maybe it's just me, that I find it a strange coincidence. Bob Weir and John Mayer share October 16th as their birthday. Exactly 30 years apart. 1947/1977.
  23. There's a real tick, called the: "Lone Star Tick." I'd post the logo but I am supposedly on the repeat offender list here. Marv Levy would say, an over-officious jerk's list. 😆
  24. Why would he be sitting in prison for life? Is it self-defense when someone grabs you? Voluntary manslaughter, no? Why did he run away? Was the gun legal? “One guy grabbed the other guy and got him in a grip, and the other guy pulled out a gun and shot him in the torso. It was one shot. The cops came right away,” he added. Hey, not advocating it, but don't grab a person. I mean they were fighting.
  25. Some escape it for the one's that get their heritage hammered with a caricature, plastered all over the place. Where do they get to escape?
