    Because in this country we start with innocence. Your question needs to be flipped. They have to be 100% sure of his guilt. Reasonable doubt in a criminal complaint is 100% innocent. That's how.

    Because he can be disciplined. Araiza can't be suspended right now according to CBA. It's a civil case.

    Watson can be punished under the CBA. Why are you believing just one side of the story? The League can't touch Araiza. The Bills knew about this and it appears they are backing his innocence. Let it play out. Watson's complaint played out.

    IMO, this punter is worth the headaches even if Baltimore and Tampa didn't think so. Probably why he fell to #180, 3 out of 4 punters taken. ??? Play it out till he's either out of the mess or he'll never play again. I am not worried about the media distraction. Life throws lemons, make lemonade.

    "Distraction from the media" is a very bad standard to set. If they can't handle the distraction, they won't win SB anyway. They are giving into shame GIVEN THIS SITUATION WHERE THEY BELIEVE HIM.

    It will make a difference. Rest of the players will see that the team doesn't have their back. Team will fall apart quicker your way. Steelers went on to win. KC too... Blackhawks too with all their wife-swapping, sex scandal allegations. It's not a distraction if the team believes him. It's actually the opposite.

    Agree... I expect the team to stick by him IF they believe him. That's what seems to be happening.

    A punter that can punt 90 yards is very valuable. He's averages over 50. Just as important as a QB... BUT Baltimore and Tampa passed him over... Hmmm... Something is strange.
