  1. Will my Toro dealer be able to fix it? I need it ready by Saturday!
  2. Not really given the context. Don't run from the police or helicopter... Won't be rough. Hope they gave the car an "assist." Ain't car's fault, simply making a left turn... How are that to judge a bike exceeding the speed limit by a 100 mph? Nobody's fault but the runner who thought they could use the bike's acceleration to avoid authorities.
  3. The dreaded "left hand turn" got 'em! 😊😉
  4. This was about 30 years after the Donner Party tragedy during winter of 1846-'47... You can see where the Donner Party stumped the trees for firewood. That's how high the snow was. Yikes!
  5. We drove up to Squaw Valley from SanFran... After the 2014 Snovember storm and the shuttle bus driver between Squaw and Alpine Meadows found out that I was from BFLo and he said that when they heard about our 7' snowstorm... People there, in Truckee were all jealous and Jonsing w/BFLo! 😆 Oh... The weather is pretty bad in California. We headed into the Sierras when a string of "Pineapple Expresses" were hitting. Stopped in Sacramento to pick up snow chains for the rental 4x4, there was no way I was gonna be denied... They won't give you chains w/rentals... Caltrans was checking, but we were set w/4x4 & M+S tires... Returned them to AutoZone on way back down to Frisco, got my $200 back. I guess idiots from Coast will head up into mountains with summer tires on... All it takes is one idiot to close I-80 in The Pass.
  6. First one was my old man's favorite! His father/my grandfather's favorite: "If the hound didn't stop to take a *****, it would have got the fox." Pretty simple, but kinda deep too! 😆 Also... My father (died in 2019) probably couldn't find the escape key on a keyboard but since day one knew: "Facebook is nothing more than front porch gossip." 😆... He was blind the last 20 years of his life, lived on NPR. 😲😯😉
  7. A week? My uncontrolled ass would have blown through that in a day! 🤭😁
  8. Awesome! Someone else likes the sugary cereals! 😃😊
  9. Work related: Don't ever get engineering division involved.
  10. Actually... I will share my secret, not so secret. Always make a simple syrup. Put the sugar in boiling water and stir until dissolved. The sugar will stay in suspension... That's how I make my lemonade. You can let the syrup cool and use later, just remember how many parts water and sugar it is. I usually just keep it 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar... Then the rest is filled in with plain water and lemons that the recipe calls for. 😋 😋 😋
  11. Say they did run out of "steak" would they offer a refund? I guess starting a riot is a bit harsh... 😏
  12. "Never tune-up the boat in the middle of the ocean."
  13. 1. Fraken Berry by a mile because of: "Franken Poop" https://www.fatherly.com/health-science/franken-berry-stool-medical-condition/ The rest of the best, in the far distance: 2. Froot Loops 3. Frosted Flakes 4. Lucky Charms 5. Grape-Nuts... Because man can't live on sugary cereals alone... And who didn't like Euell Gibbons: https://www.mashed.com/371854/the-untold-truth-of-grape-nuts/ Introduced as an alternative to coffee ☕️in the morning🌄...
  14. Yup. Taking it personal. One of the "4 Agreements." "Don’t Take Anything Personally Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering." No good deed goes unpunished. 🤭😁
  15. When they threw the ***** at him. Honorable mention: Every time he loses and acts like a sore loser. Never gracious in defeat... Too numerous to mention.
  16. I would have been 4 years old. You're sick! 😉 😜
  17. Goats doing goat things. Even baby goats... If only Trent Edwards or JP Losman were this good and dinking and dunking, feeling the pressure on the backside!
  18. In "The Troubles." Today falls on a Sunday... "I can't believe the news today Oh, I can't close my eyes And make it go away How long? How long must we sing this song? How long, how long? 'Cause tonight, we can be as one Tonight..." Derry, Northern Ireland 1972...
  19. I guess this was before her time Downstate: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Blizzard_of_1888 It's the reason why we build so well today... Like power lines in the ground, building codes, etc... Why we are so progressive... "The Great Blizzard of 1888, Great Blizzard of '88, or the Great White Hurricane (March 11–14, 1888) was one of the most severe recorded blizzards in American history. The storm paralyzed the East Coast from the Chesapeake Bay to Maine, as well as the Atlantic provinces of Canada. Snow fell from 10 to 58 inches (25 to 147 cm) in parts of New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, and sustained winds of more than 45 miles per hour (72 km/h) produced snowdrifts in excess of 50 feet (15 m). Railroads were shut down and people were confined to their homes for up to a week. Railway and telegraph lines were disabled, and this provided the impetus to move these pieces of infrastructure underground. Emergency services were also affected. ..."
