  1. Nevertheless, we should not jump to conclusions. It seems like people who did not like McKenzie were quick to paint him as a bad guy. P.S. I also do not consider it a "hit piece" to the extent it was truthful. Just my two cents.
  2. Did you read the article? He "effusive[ly] praise[d]" McD.
  3. Thanks for answering my question by not answering my question. We would be sitting pretty for the playoffs BUT FOR our defense not playing "complementary" football and engineering multiple game losing drives. Of course, you already know that. "Kenny" was the OC of the second best offense in the league last year and the biggest difference after he was thrown under the bus is that Joe Brady has not fumbled or thrown interceptions that have hurt us. Buffalo Bills - Second Best Offense in NFL in 2022 The objective metrics for Dorsey this year also were not ones that supported firing him . . . unless, of course, one has an agenda. As for Rex, he was given less than two years with a GM who (in my opinion) threw him under the bus to save himself and who ended up facing his own karma. I remember people here making fun of Rex when we had 12 men on the field. Yet, McClappy outdid him with an unprecedented 15 men on the field (I had never seen that before) and let us not forget the most recent 12 men on the field that lost us the game. 15 Men on the Field We also had the most or second most injured team in the NFL in his last year as I recall. If you truly care (and I presume you do not because you like to take shots), you can review all of my posts on the subject back then. Rex also did not have the good fortune of players like Andy Dalton and K. Toney . . . oh, wait . . . . As for your questioning my support of the team, I will just respond by saying: God bless. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and 2024.
  4. What would our record be if the defense had not given up any game losing drives? It is too bad our defensive coordinator did not have the defense playing "complementary" football. Hmmm.
  5. You spelled throw someone under the bus and deflection wrong.
  6. I love the sarcasm. As someone who believes in the importance of controlling the line of scrimmage and being able to run the ball, I agree with your point. Nevertheless, if you think that McClappy did not approve of offensive game plans before yesterday or before Joe Brady for that matter, we disagree. Hmmm Bills v. Dolphins Wild Card Game
  7. It is indeed a horrible rule and nonsensical.
  8. It is interesting that there were rumors that Diggs supposedly did not want Dorsey (and favored Chad Hall). We now know why Chad Hall left (nothing to do with Dorsey). As for Diggs, I did not believe that he wanted Dorsey gone, but if he did, it is an example of be careful for what you wish for:
  9. How many of those did Gabe drop?
  10. If I understand you correctly, I agree. As an aside, one of our most pressing issues is pass protection. Josh hardly ever seemed comfortable in the pocket . . . and for good reason.
  11. You spelled hypocrisy wrong. If I were Gabe's Mom, I would have not posted anything. Having said that, I am giving her a break given that what she posted was mild and (unless I missed it) it was her only social media post defending her son. The Diggs situation (Stef and Trevon) is actually a much worse situation compared to mama Davis (in my opinion). They both involve family members giving their two cents publicly and it is not as if Trevon's posts are ancient history.
  12. God bless.
  13. Good for you. I presume your kid is playing professional sports and is facing criticism on social media so that the analogy is complete. Did you teach your siblings the same thing? As for the mom, I generally agree with you. Nevertheless, her response was VERY mild. Compare her post with Trevon Diggs and what he has had to say.
  14. That is a big loss. I hope the guy recovers 100%. The key to defending against the Dolphins is pressuring Tua. This is a big loss for the Dolphins.
  15. To those of you bitching in moaning about Gabe's mother being protective of her son (that is what moms do), I wonder what you thought about Trevon Digg's more problematic social media messages . . . . Hmmmm.
  16. Bingo.
  17. 1) He called one blitz after another at the end of the game. The article talked about McD being "paralyzed by fear late in games." Also, the article confirmed that he took over the play calling against KC at the end of the infamous "13 seconds" game. 2) As for games lost, we have lost many games this year because the defense gave up game losing drives (with McD calling the defense whether he called an aggressive game or not). If the defense was better at protecting leads (or as McD might say: playing complementary football), we would be sitting pretty for the playoffs.
  18. I cannot say for sure, but it is curious that he was about as aggressive a play caller at the end of the game as I recall seeing just a few days after some of the comments in the article.
  19. I enjoyed beating KC, but you are correct. If Toney did not do what he did, today's mood would be very different. Yesterday would have been yet another time that McD's defense gave up a game losing drive (unless Josh was able to engineer a TD in response with a little over a minute left to play). We shall see how the rest of the season goes. Hopefully, we (the Buffalo Bills) will not be the but of any more jokes as a result of McD (See SNL and all of the memes on X/Twitter). In the meantime, McD needs to add Toney to his Christmas card list (together with Andy Dalton). Toney saved the day for us and McD. P.S. As I also mentioned up thread, Dunne's article accomplished at least one thing: McClappy called a much more aggressive defense on KC's last drive than he typically does.
  20. You are right on the money. We are so lucky to have Josh - both his talent and personality. Josh is the perfect QB for the Buffalo Bills.
  21. Dunne accomplished at least one thing: McCoach was more aggressive than usual in his play calling on the final drive. Great win and effort by the team. Thank you K. Toney. Football can be a game of inches, and I am glad that we are not feeling the heartbreak that we would have felt if we lost on another game losing defensive drive especially with Taylor Swifts' boyfriend throwing a lateral to win the game.
  22. Way too soon. RIP
  23. Under no circumstances will McClappy ever be Margot Robbie in any choice . . . .
  24. The facts are what the facts are. I was not aware that we beat the Eagles. If you are referring to the Jets game, it was nice not having turnovers kill us. Brady did a great job not fumbling or throwing any interceptions that hurt us.
