  1. It was a complete team loss beginning with McCoach and Beane all the way down to the last guy on the 53 man roster.
  2. Jauron also had some prior success.
  3. I disagree with you for three reasons: 1) You are a Tottenham fan; 2) Our coaches have not particularly impressed me so far (except for their luck); 3) You are a Spurs fan.
  4. It is somewhat ironic that you are "BringBackOrton."
  5. It is a shame that McCoach had to steal "Trust the Process" and could not come up with his own catch phrase: Nick Saban and the "Process" Philadelphia 76ers and "Trust the Process" In case you want to buy McCoach a Christmas present: Joel Embiid Trust the Process Shirt
  6. If you saw him play 23 times and don’t think he is raw you must have been looking at something else. God bless. You clearly have been reading my posts about as closely as you have watched Josh Allen. Not that closely. I am NOT dismissing him at all. I just think he is raw and has potential but don’t want to see that potential ruined or stunted behind our line. I am taking the long view of him and his development. I am am not going to respond to your personal attacks with personal attacks (as much as I am tempted to do so).
  7. I like Xhaka 90% of the time . . . but he has some brain farts the rest of the time that are so unnecessary. That pass last week is a great example of that. I like the fact that Emery is not letting our diva be a diva. Everyone should be held to the same standard and be expected to put in a shift in and out of possession and even when playing out of one's preferred position. My concern is not in developing Peterman . . . but in developing the kid in whom we have invested so much.
  8. You proved my point. Russell Wilson had the opportunity to develop his skills behind a very good offensive line. He also was a more productive QB in college. You do not think Josh Allen is raw?!? Really? Josh Allen is very raw and I know that because I have watched him play. He has potential and could be special . . . but he was not particularly outstanding agains much lesser competition.
  9. This is going to be a very long and depressing year. I have little confidence in McBeane. I am much more excited about Unai Emery (even though I was AKB).
  10. I thought Russell Wilson's line was pretty good. Our line and team are historically bad right now. You are probably going to get your wish. I hope you are right. I have my doubts and given the huge investment we have in Josh and the fact that he is very, very, very raw, I would be careful with him. We shall see what happens to the kid when he gets thrown to the wolves. It may even happen next week. He was not particularly successful in college against lesser competition. I am not sure what we can expect of the kid behind a crappy line against the likes of the Chargers, Vikings etc.
  11. The alternative was AJ . . . and we outsmarted ourselves by trading him . . . .
  12. I was quoting the other guy's phrase. The fact is that we will never know how good any QB who was picked high and played behind a crappy line would have reached whatever potential he would have had. Dak Prescott is a good example of what a young guy can do behind a good line. I am sure he would not have had the rookie season he did if he played behind the Bills' line this year. Yes, anyone who follows football does. Please also do not suggest that Josh Allen is Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning.
  13. . . . and asking too much of this specific coaching staff. They are out of their depth.
  14. Or, maybe they sucked because of the line.
  15. Second worst defeat in Buffalo Bills history!!! Well done McBeane. Well done!
  16. I have nothing against Josh Allen. You need to read my posts more carefully. Reader's Digest Version: I do not want to destroy whatever potential the kid may have. He is raw and I would hate to see the kid get killed and his potential stunted. If only the Bills had bothered to make sure that we had a good offensive line to help the kid out (and Shady).
  17. Read my previous posts on this subject. In a nutshell: We have had all off season to replace Wood. We did not. We foolishly decided to nickel and dime our pro bowl guard. In my judgment, I think that Richie would be just fine if he was part of the team an we did not stupidly force the pay cut. I presume you disagree. History demonstrated that he was fine while in the structure of the team. We traded. Cordy Glenn when I would have kept him. I never saw Cordy get manhandled like Dion got manhandled against the Browns. We made no attempt to re-sign Seantrel. Our former VP, however, signed him as soon as he became GM of the Texans. According to everything I read, Seantrel has played well for the Texans (and well against JJ Watt in practice). Just my two cents.
  18. Schopp: McCoach acts like he did not see the game. Indeed. I am not even sure that he coached or watched the game.
  19. The problem is that we backed ourselves in a corner. We traded AJ (which I thought was a mistake for a variety of reasons). We have managed to create a horrible offensive line. Right now, the alternative to starting Peterman (who was horrible) is starting Josh. I think Josh has potential (how much I do not know) and is VERY raw. I would hope that we do not destroy or stunt whatever potential he might have by getting him killed behind that line.
  20. McCoach said that he needs to look at the tape. Hmmm.
  21. Peterman was not good at all. My concern with playing Allen is that he is going to have his potential (whatever that is) stunted playing behind that woeful line. Indeed. McBeane have managed to give us one of the historically bad Buffalo Bills performances in the history of the franchise. Well done.
  22. I never said that there was anything positive in his performance.
  23. My point is that I do not think the result would have been any different with many (or most) other QBs. We have huge problems across the board. If we focus on Peterman alone, we will ignore the fact that this team has enormous problems (players, coaching, front office).
