  1. The video tells the story. This one was clear.
  2. How do you think the Braves are going to do this year?
  3. This has got to be one of the worst sports years for Buffalo fans in years.
  4. Say what you will about James Carville, but the guy is pretty funny. First, he smashed an egg on his face when asked about his election prediction and said: "I have egg on my face." He also had a hilarious line when Tim Russert was asking him and his wife whether GWB has a mandate. Carville unbelievably responded: "The only politician in this country that has a mandate is James McGreevey." Think about it. If you do not know who James McGreevey is, he is the former governer of New Jersey who recently stepped down.
  5. Lawrence Eagleburger, on CNN last night, said that Condi Rice was not a good choice. She will be no counterweight to the neocons at the DOD. Eagleburger - Rice not a good choice
  6. You are very much like Jerry Sullivan. In fact, I do not think that anyone has seen you and Sullivan in the same room.
  7. Good post. There really is a lynch mob attitude -- especially on this board. I used to think that Bills fans were some of the best in the world. I have had my doubts about that. Certainly, there are some fans who are as good as they get. There are some others . . . . These are the people, for example, that hated Wade because he did not wear a head set. These are the people who cheer when a Buffalo player gets hurt or want Buffalo players to get hurt. I wish that some of the guys on this board had people like themselves as their employers. Perhaps they do and that is why they are so miserable to begin with.
  8. Ice, I usually respect your opinions (whether I agree or disagree). With any luck, you will sleep on this and realize that this is total BS.
  9. "Rooting for an injury." That says it all. What kind of guy roots for a player, not to mention a player on his own team, to have an injury?!?
  10. Go check the video replay about what my bet was.
  11. He sure as s**t better be the man. If not, we will have spent three number ones on QBs that did not take us where we all want to be.
  12. There is absolutely no way you can draw that conclusion until we see who is available with our former pick in the 2005 draft.
  13. Parcells did pretty well with the Cowboys last year. I dare say the Cowpokes will be better than the Bills next year. I hope that you are correct about JP being the man etc. Yet, some people thought he was a reach where we picked him. Will he be worth a top five pick. Again, I hope the answer is yes. Yet, the only way he (or anyone else) is going to succeed is if we do something about our piss poor line.
  14. Tulane - the Green Wave.
  15. The question will become whether JP will be worth a top five pick. I hope that the answer is yes. We shall see. The advantage of a top pick is that can always get a lot for it in a trade. Plus, if you have a conviction about someone, you are in the position to get that person. It always is a crapshoot. That is the nature of the beast.
  16. Read = Mike Williams (ROT - not the WR)
  17. I like the kid from Cal.
  18. Where on the site do you go to submit a question?
  19. Hey Dr. Phil, Actually, my bet was that RJ would "win" more games than Flutie after RJ left the Bills. I won that bet if I recall. RJ "had" two wins (mostly because of TB's D) while Flutie "had" none after RJ left the Bills. I would still take RJ over Flutie. I would take DB over RJ and Flutie. Guess what, I will support Losman when and if he is made the starter. I also will defend him if the o-line is a piss poor as it has been. The kid is going to get killed. In fact, I am worried that if he has to play behind a line that is going to give us the same performance as we have seen, it may actually stunt his development. A lot of you guys don't realize just how difficult it is to play QB in the NFL. One of the reasons why Brady makes it look easy is because his line gives him all kinds of time. Let's do our QB (whoever it is) a favor and recognize that our line is not an NFL caliber line. In fact, let's do Willis a favor and put together an NFL caliber line. Did you see how badly our line got pushed back yesterday. Typically, Willis had first contact behind the line of scrimmage whereas Dillon was in the second level before someone touched him. If you really want to get depressed, watch ESPN classic when they show the Bills of the early 1990s. It is amazing how much time Kelly and Reich had. I always have believed that football is about controlling the line. The Pats did that last night and made us look foolish. I am looking forward to the day when we have a line that pushes people around.
  20. Have you and Spiked Lemonade moved in together?
  21. OOOOPS. That pick is looking more and more like a top 5 pick. It is funny how much heat Parcells took for the trade last Spring. He is looking like a genius again. Why is it that whenever we run into Parcells or Belichick, we end up being heart broken. Belichick is a genius and has made us look plain foolish. Last night's game was about as bad as it gets. The only thing that could have made it worse would have been if it had been a playoff/superbowl game. Ugly!!!
  22. You must really hate the kid to put him in behind that line. The kid will end up wishing he was back at Tulane -- even though he also was behind a porous line in college last year.
  23. Did any of you guys notice: 1. NE opened up huge holes for their RB's against our D while our o-line got pushed around. Their RBs typically were in the second level before being touched while WM typically had first contact behind the line of scrimmage. This is not a good sign for our D or our o-line. 2. NE gave Brady all kinds of time against our D -- even though we were blitzing a lot. Our o-line does not provide nearly as much time in pass protection. This again is not a good sign for our D when we are selling out to try to get to the QB -- or our o-line. NE's line was huge in picking up the blitz. 3. NE loved running toward Schobel. You will see that a lot in the future. That was one of the most miserable games I have ever seen. I was really looking forward to continuing the progress we have made. Instead, we took several steps back. Pretty much everyone was horrible -- except for maybe Sam Adams, Coy Wire, and Josh Reed. Coy and Josh made my list only because they did not play. Putrid performance.
