You never would think that the guy was injured at all by the way he was walking. He looked like he was in great shape. The guy looks like a real athlete. In fact, he looks like he could easily be in the NBA. The other thing was that he was very personable. I told him that he would really enjoy playing in Buffalo because of the college type atmosphere at the stadium and that he would get chills went he went through the tunnel the first time with nearly 80,000 screaming Bills fans in the stadium. He seemed pretty excited.

The guy is absolutely amazing.

I met Kevin Everett at the Miami airport on Thursday. He was on his way up to Buffalo for rehab. He seemed like a great guy and was excited to get started. He said that he has spending a lot of time learning the playbook. He commented that Roscoe has been doing great and that the transition to the NFL is a bit easier because he already knows Roscoe and Willis. He also said that he likes JP. The most important thing that he said that is that he expects to be playing in October. I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do for the Bills. He may end up being a steal given that he was a third round draft pick.

There is no question that I would have preferred to get a second round pick. Yet, keep in mind, we (reportedly) are getting a third round pick for a guy who only has one year left on his contract. If he had more years left, we probably would have had more leverage. There also is the issue of supply and demand. There are better RBs who also are reportedly available for a third. Finally, I have got to believe that there are a lot of teams who have noticed what many on this board have seen about TH. Although he is a gutsy guy, he cannot block at all. In fact, I think it has less to do with an inability to block as opposed to the willingness to do what it takes to pick up blitzing LBs. In any event, we at least have a third for someone who was never going to play for the Bills this year. Moreover, as others have pointed out, the reason why we were able to draft TH in the second round was because TD had the forsight to not take the OT that Tampa chose (whose name esapes me) and instead waited to pick up Nate Clements and received an extra second round pick for trading down.

I would love to move back to Buffalo if the right opportunity came along. My family still lives there. I also would love my son to have the same kind of childhood as I had. Unfortunately, I do not think that I will be able to move back anytime soon.

You are so right about MTV. I remember how great their coverage was with Live Aid. I was glued to the TV for the entire day. This time, I am glad that I have a DVR. I did not have to waste my time watching MTV's horrible coverage. They did not show everthing and they kept on interrupting songs etc. I was also happy to be able to skip through the groups that I had no interest in watching. I also noticed that the director did a terrible job with his camera choices and cuts, but that is a matter of taste. All in all, it was a far cry from twenty years ago.

No question about that. It should not have been as close as it was. OSU payed an outstanding game. Yet, Miami had the game won but for Porter's delayed call from away from the play -- which was the opposite of the call from the ref who was the closest to the play. P.S. It also did not help the Canes when Willis went down with that injury. Little did I know then that the Canes' misfortune would work to the benefit of the Bills.

Great finale. 24 is one of the more consistent shows on television. It should be interesting to see how they bring Jack back next year. I have a feeling Mandy (Mia Kirshner) will be back and the Chinese storyline will part of next season plot.

I have been there as well. It was amazing with all of the people singing and dancing around his grave.

Yes. I thought it was pretty good. I especially liked the actress who played the sister of the king. Very talented.

The 1962-63 jerseys look great. I think those unis and the one that we had before the last uniform change were definitely the best.

In fact, the Dolphins gave up a third for the Rams backup RB last year when Ricky did not come back and one of their other RBs got injured.

As I Canes fan, I liked his heart, but did not like his inability to read defenses. In general, he was given a hard time by a lot of Canes fans. I am a bit surprised that he would not want to get a fresh start somewhere else. Perhaps, he did not have other options.

I think that this was a reference to when EM ordered pizza delivered to practice while he was at Mississippi State.
