You may want to rethink what you said. For example, the Dutch are the leading experts in water management after having to deal with their own problems. It would be stupid to turn them down. -

ESPN the Mag is free with my Insider subscription. I have no complaints.

In ESPN the Mag, there was an article about Devon Hester (the kick returner, punt returner, CB, and WR for the Canes). If you have never seen this guy return a kick, you are in for a treat. Anyway, the article talked about how Hester may be the fastest Cane ever. Yet, it did say that there was one guy who clocked a better 40 time. As you probably have guessed from the topic title, it was Willis McGahee. Apparently, McGahee clocked a 4.25 and Hester clocked a 4.28 (if I remember correctly). That is smoking. I don't know if Willis still runs a 4.25, but if and when he does, look out. That combination of power and speed is amazing.

Two words: Brett Favre. He abused us on the opening drive. Whether that would have continued if he had not left the game, who knows. The guy is a future hall of famer and there is a reason for that. He showed why on the first series -- especially during the play that resulted in the TD.

The Karl Rove equivalent: "I didn't know her name, and didn't not leak her name." Other ridiculous ones from others: "I am against nation building." "I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky." "I have denied having an affair with Gennifer Flowers, and so has she." "I did not chop down the cherry tree." "Poland is not part of the Eastern block." (or words to that effect) "Iraqi oil revenue will pay for rebuilding Iraq." Some of the best statements: "Tear down this wall Mr. Gorbachev." "I would compare Congress to a bunch of drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to the drunken sailors." "We do not have a trillion dollar deficit because we tax too much. We have a trillion dollar deficit because we spend too much." I did not get a chance to watch it, but I had a feeling that Dan Marino or someone else might mention Hunter. Did any of you see the HOF?

I think that we are going to see a lot of production from him as both the slot receiver and on special teams. -
I am sorry. You would have preferred that he shot at the guys. That was his mistake. P.S. The Bills did pretty well with a former Cane in Jim Kelly. Another former Cane, McGahee, looked pretty good in a Bills uniform last year. I suspect, the same thing is going to happen with RP and KE.

I do I sense a bit of jealousy. By the way, which Cane has ever gone to prison? The only Cane who is in a bit of trouble is Sean Taylor who shot a gun in the air when someone was trying to rob his car. Based on your numerous posts on guns, I would have thought that you would have given him an award for his actions.

I just hope that this turns out to be an example of the Sabres being able to sign some quality players after the initial rush by other teams to overspend. We will be better able to evaluate what is happening in a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, as it stands now, we should not expect the Sabres to be any better than they were in the standings before the lockout. In my view, both Z and Satan are very well suited for the new rules. I can live with the loss of Satan, but the loss of Z really hurts. He eats up ice time and is very talented. We are not going to be able to replace him. -

I could not say it better. The Sabres lost their most talented defenseman who logs the ice time of at least two players.
