  1. Regarding drafting Josh: I give most of the credit to Beane and Pegula (no secret that Terry was a primary promoter of Josh as well as Mahomes). Regarding developing Josh: I give very little credit to McD (especially when one looks at which side of the ball our first round picks have been). I give most of the credit for Josh's development to Josh and his offensive coordinators and QB coaches.
  2. This is true (perhaps this would be Andy's way of repaying McD for trading the right to pick Mahomes). McD would forever be known for that trade. Without Josh, I can only imagine how bad our record otherwise would be. McD (and we) are VERY LUCKY to have Josh.
  3. McD told everyone we are winning the Super Bowl. Didn't he say it is not a question of if but when?
  4. How many wins would we have had over the past few years without Josh???? We were very lucky that he was available and very lucky that he developed. I stand by what I said: if we did not have Josh, McD would be remembered as the guy who traded the opportunity to pick a generational QB (against the owner’s wishes) and would have been long gone by now.
  5. As I have said before, if we did not have the good fortune to draft Josh and Josh developing the way he did, McD would forever be know as the idiot that traded the opportunity to pick Mahomes who not only is a generational QB but also a thorn in our side every year. Also, without Josh, McD would have been fired long ago as well as being remembered for making this trade. McD and we should thank our lucky stars that we have Josh.
  6. According to PFF, Josh was the highest graded QB for the 2023 NFL Season: "Josh Allen stands atop the position: The Bills signal caller beat out 2023 league MVP Lamar Jackson as the highest-graded quarterback in the NFL." "1. JOSH ALLEN, BUFFALO BILLS: 92.1 While Allen may have missed out on the league MVP, he captured the top spot on this list after orchestrating the highest-graded season of his career. The signal-caller showed elite dual-threat ability, finishing as the only quarterback to surpass an 88.0-plus grade as both a passer (88.5) and runner (91.4)." https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-highest-graded-quarterbacks-2023-nfl-season?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=february_21_2024 We are very fortunate to have Josh as our QB. He is perfect for Buffalo.
  7. The question is: Will Diggs make peace with that? Bonus question: Will his brother?
  8. I guess I am dating myself. 😀 I figured that you probably were not aware of the movie. I was not suggesting that you should have been. If you have some extra time, you may want to check it out. It is an odd and interesting movie. You also may want to check out other Peter Sellers' movies. Go Bills!
  9. Shoot. You beat me to it. "There will be growth in the Spring" Brilliant movie with the brilliant Peter Sellers. I am guessing that you may not be old enough to remember the movie "Being There" with Peter Sellers that came out in 1979. I presume that the poster was referring to the Chauncey Gardner character in that movie. The photo is from that movie.
  10. In my judgment, Wilks got thrown under the bus. Sounds a bit familiar. Hmm. Perhaps Kyle should have been familiar with the "Josh Allen" overtime rules and also not overruled Wilks when he called that time out.
  11. It is amazing how some people know how to say the right words and how easy it is to do so. It is not hard and takes less time than coming up with cryptic responses:
  12. This does not even approach the number of "fire Dorsey" threads that people created on this site over the the past year or two. It is funny how touchy the McD apologists can be.
  13. There are so many, but given that no one has chosen this one, I will go with Cream's Born under a Bad Sign (originally an Albert King song), which I always have thought aptly describes what it is like to be a Buffalo fan: "Born Under A Bad Sign" Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Bad luck and trouble's my only friend, I've been down ever since I was ten. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. You know, wine and women is all I crave. A big bad woman's gonna carry me to my grave. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Bad luck and trouble's been my only friend, I've been down ever since I was ten. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck. If it wasn't for real bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Born under a bad sign. Born under a bad sign.
  14. Andy Reid should have thanked McDermott on the podium after each of their Super Bowl victories. McDermott did an outstanding job helping the Chiefs create their dynasty while at the same time being a thorn in our side. As I mentioned in another post, if Brandon Bean did not pull out all of the stops to get Josh and if Josh had not developed the way he has, McDermott would have been fired a long time ago and would be remembered as the guy who traded the pick so that the Chiefs could draft Mahomes. McDermott should be VERY thankful that Josh is on the team.
  15. Please explain it slowly so that I can understand . . . .
  16. How is that?
  17. The Chiefs must be happy with the Josh Allen OT rule now.
  18. Fun fact: McDermott can take credit for the KC Superbowls and the Chiefs beating the Bills in the playoffs given that he traded the pick that became Mahomes. If Beane did not pull out all of the stops to get Josh and if Josh did not develop the way he has, McDermott already would have been fired as HC and would be remembered as the guy who passed on Mahomes and traded him to the team that has been the thorn in our side.
  19. Doesn’t Andy Reid know that you are not supposed to operate out of the shotgun in short yardage (according to some Buffalo Bills fans).
  20. I bet KC and its fans are happy with the rule change now.
  21. Better than the Super Bowl halftime show.
  22. Indeed he did pull a Houdini. Houdini But not in a good way.
  23. I fully appreciate this. I also have an inside source. I typically choose not to independently report what I hear from that source so that it cannot be traced back to that person and so that I am not met with the BS responses some will give. Having said that, I also have heard things about Diggs. The whole thing is a shame. I remember being so impressed with him when I learned way back how, as the oldest child, he decided to play college football close to home after his Dad died young so that he could help out at home. That really impressed me and I loved the guy up until the beginning of the off season after the 2022-23 season. He was a complete diva and distraction beginning around that time. At the time, he also was considered a number one receiver who has the second highest cap hit on the team. Now, he is just an overpaid diva with the second highest cap hit on the team. Given his contract, I hope he is mature enough to change his ways and can perform more like he did in the first half of this past season to at least get some value out of our huge investment in him.
  24. As a Miami Hurricane season ticket holder, I would love to see Kam Kitchens in a Bills uniform. He has great instincts. I am going to say a name that he reminds me of when he was in college. I am not saying he will be as good as the person I am about to name, but I do remember saying back when that other player played for the Hurricanes how he had a knack for the football. Hint: The former player also was a former coach for the Bills. Name: Ed Reed According to the Miami Herald, 247sports ranked Addae as the number 2 recruiter. Herald Article on Addae
