  1. According to my eyes, our line is horrible at run blocking. According to PFF, we have the worst run blocking team. I know people like to automatically blame the running backs, but the line is not doing them any favors. P.S. Josh makes them look better than they actually are in pass blocking.
  2. I donated the same amount. By the way, have there been any reports on how much Bills fans donated (to the extent that they can tell). Given that this is a Buffalo thing, I would be surprised if Bills fans were the most of any one group.
  3. I live in Miami and am a season ticket holder to the Miami Hurricanes (who also play in that stadium) and purposely chose the home side because of this. It is my recollection that the Dolphins (or NFL) used to avoid 1:00 pm games early in the regular season. I got in an argument with some Dolphin fans about this and ended up taking a look at the Dolphin schedule from 1970 through 1989. Guess what? During that entire time, only 6.3% of Dolphin games before the last week of September were 1:00 pm home games. The rest (93.7%) were 4:00 pm or night home games or away games. The easy solution is to make sure that early regular season Dolphin games should be later in the day or on the road. P.S. I know some Dolphin fans try to respond by claiming that we have an advantage in cold weather games. That counter argument only goes so far. In our stadium, both home and away teams have the same exposure to the elements. At Hard Rock Stadium, only one team bakes in the sun. That side of the stadium is miserable even sitting in the stands in shorts and a t shirt. I cannot imagine what it would be like to be player . . . especially a 300+ pound lineman. P.P.S. I love the idea by Orlando Tim (immediately above) who suggests that the visiting team should be able to select its sideline.
  4. Exactly. Josh is exactly correct. It is worthwhile watching the unedited clip.
  5. Such a great guy!
  6. This is very true. (As a Miami Hurricane fan, how could I disagree). Dorsey also was one of the most successful college QBs of all time, and he did it mostly with his brain and the talent that was on that team. I can only imagine what Dorsey's career would have been like if he also had Josh's physical skills. I suspect that Dorsey must enjoy being a bit of the puppeteer and "playing" vicariously through Josh. I also am not surprised that Dorsey was Josh's first choice and that he seems to be a perfect fit as OC.
  7. Am I concerned about Elam? Maybe the question should be are we pleasantly surprised about Benford.
  8. Thank you for posting. This is fantastic and definitely worth the time to watch.
  9. It is a good thing that our offense is so good that we never are going to have to punt. Joking aside, if he did this . . . no mercy. Nevertheless, we still need to find out more information. It does not look good though. Awful crime if true.
  10. Also Jaquan Johnson. Go Bills! Go Canes! 🙌
  11. I could not believe they did this . . . especially given that our sideline reporter Cynthia Frelund actually works for them. It reminded me of how ESPN always seems to go to commercial when the Bills are on the clock in the NFL draft. It seems to me that the practice should be (and typically is) to finish the earlier game before you go to the second game. This is especially so when the earlier game is still being contested (not out of reach). Also, if you are going to go split screen, you should have the audio of the game that is ending.
  12. Thank you for sharing. Very interesting. Also, some additional insight re Moss and that he was coming back from an injury last year and BBB expects him to play well this year . . . .
  13. Commercial on NFL Network and interview on ESPN.
  14. . . . When you are a stranger Faces look ugly When you're alone Women seem wicked When you're unwanted Streets are uneven When you're down When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange People are strange When you're a stranger Faces look ugly When you're alone Women seem wicked When you're unwanted Streets are uneven When you're down When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange All right, yeah When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange
  15. I have to trust Beane on doing what was best under the circumstances. It appears that Kaiir Elam matched both BPA and need and Beane made the move to ensure that Dallas did not pick him (given their history with the family) or trade to another team that wanted to jump ahead of the Bills - who everyone knows are in need of a CB. If Beane had not made the move and some other team took the best CB available, it could have been a disaster watching other teams go after our one glaring weakness on the entire team. We also do not know whether T. White will be fully healthy at the start of the season. Yet, even if he is healthy, we still needed help on the side opposite of him.
  16. It is money that is available to the state because the team will continue to play in New York State for at least 34 more years. If someone else bought the team and moved them to Toronto, LA, or anywhere else in the world (other than NYS), the money would not be available.
  17. I have season tickets for the Hurricanes. I have to admit that Steve Ross and the Dolphins did a great job with renovating Hard Rock Stadium.
  18. Great stadium even though Spurs play there. The same firm (Populous) also designed my favorite EPL team back in 2006: Arsenal's Emirates Stadium - North London is Red - COYG
  19. North London is Red. COYG
  20. I hope they have a plan to keep him happy. It would not be good if this situation somehow interferes with the season. I personally would like to keep him, but have no idea how they plan on doing that (if they do plan on doing that). This may involve re-working Josh's contract. Given their relationship, I suspect that is a possibility if it is feasible.
  21. This is a question for Tyler Dunne . . . .
  22. I am more disappointed about this than I am about JD McKissic changing his mind. I am too lazy to read the 12 pages of this thread. Did the Bills try to re-sign him? Did he want to leave? It seems like he signed for a reasonable amount. On WGR yesterday, I heard the end of a discussion that seemed to suggest that he may have been a source for Ty Dunne's article. I heard the very end so I am not sure what the whole conversation was regarding that.
  23. Given Joe Brady's connection with Burrow, I wonder if Josh already may know Brady through their mutual connection with Jordan Palmer.
  24. Interesting fact: The Dolphins GM is Chris Grier. Chris is the brother of former Sabre Mike Grier.
  25. If you really think that McCoach's seat is not a bit warmer, I wonder if you watched the cluster f*ck that occurred at the end of the Chiefs game. Epic all time blunders. So much so that even the two guys who are paid by the Bills on OBD said how horrible the decision making was. Even Sean Payton (until this past month a fellow member of the coaches union) was very, very critical. You also are kidding yourself if you don't think that we have been blessed with good schedules and relatively few injuries while he has been coach. As I recall, we were 2-4 against playoff teams this past year and winless in close scoring games. As I said, I do not think that he should be fired, but he is certainly going to be viewed differently after what happened. P.S. McCoach is lucky to have Josh Allen as his QB . . . as we all are.
