  1. Not for me and not at that time.
  2. Coaching staff (read McCoach) could have decided to kick the field goal.
  3. McCoach should have a long look in the mirror.
  4. Less an evaluation of Beane and more on McCoach.
  5. It was so depressing . . . and that was without their stud running back Breece Hall.
  6. Unfortunately, they were able to eat up the clock in an 86 yard drive that started from their 4 yard line and get the go ahead score.
  7. To state it another way, MVP Josh makes McCoach (and frankly any coach) look like a great coach.
  8. Many believe that Brandon Beane has put together the best roster in the league. At the end of the year, we will see what McD is able to do with the "best roster in the league." I will wait until then to fully evaluate him. In the meantime, some here were upset with others who pointed out the deficiencies in the game against the Packers. Not surprising, the Jets (whose OC is the brother of the Packers' HC) had a similar game plan and ran all over us. Josh had moments against the Packers and the Jets that reminded me of the rookie version of Josh. I am still all in on Josh. As for McCoach, I will reserve final judgment until after the season. We shall see how he and the team respond.
  9. Ugly win, but a win. Nevertheless, the run defense was awful, and there were times when we saw the rookie version of Josh and not the 2022 MVP version.
  10. To take a page out of the Dolphins and Steve Ross' playbook, we should only have the waterfall fall on the visiting team's sideline.
  11. Since the new stadium deal was announced, inflation has increased substantially. I presume this has resulted in a substantial increase in the projected cost of the stadium. I wonder if that was one of the reasons for the delay in the renderings and why it is now 65% of the seats covered as opposed to a larger number.
  12. Very nice. As an aside, I can tell you that I attended a Penguins game as an opposing fan, and the people from Pittsburgh were outstanding as well. I am so glad that this gentleman had such a nice experience. Thank you to those Bills fans who did what Buffalonians typically do.
  13. Isn't Trevor from Buffalo?
  14. You are 100% correct Einstein. GunnerBill refers to being a "leader." https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/?app=core&module=members&controller=profile&id=23863 Guess who Dorsey is leading? The very guys who (like Josh) have said: ”Our guys fricking love seeing that. I know people might be making a big deal out of it, but as players, we freaking love seeing that.”
  15. Very classy. We are so lucky as fans of these two teams to have the QBs we have. Not only are they great QBs, they are wonderful human beings . . . and good friends who respect each other.
  16. I disagree. It is not going to hurt Dorsey one bit (presuming he checks all of the other boxes for an owner). Indeed, that viral video may even help him. Just my two cents. COYG!!! Go Bills!!!
  17. I disagree. I see no difference in the passion. Mikel Yes, more inanimate objects were on the receiving end of Dorsey's reaction . . . but, in my view, they both have the same passion, which typically is admired as demonstrated by everything players like Josh and Von said in response. Once again, everyone who has been in a locker room has seen reactions like Dorsey's (and Mikel's). What Dorsey did will not hurt him one bit if an owner thinks that he has the skills to be a head coach. Throwing and smashing things has not hurt this guy's career: Bill B and a Tablet P.S. Not just Auba, he got rid of that diva Özil. Another example of addition by subtraction.
  18. Apparently you have not had a chance yet to watch "All or Nothing: Arsenal" yet. 😀 Mikel Arteta and Ken Dorsey (and many people in sports) have the same reaction after losses. Ken and Mikel both have the same passion. We (Arsenal and the Bills) are "top of the table," and I am very happy that Arsenal stuck with Mikel and the Bills chose Dorsey to be the OC. I have not heard one player criticize the way Dorsey reacted. Instead, all of the players have been very positive and complimentary of his passion (particularly Josh). Everyone who has ever been in a locker room has seen reactions like Dorsey's. Everyone. If an owner decides that Dorsey has the ability to be a HC, the video of him after the Dolphin game is not going to hurt him.
  19. Speaking for myself, this has little to do with the loss and everything to do with player safety - Dolphins, Bills, or any visiting team's players.
  20. My main concern over the years has been about player safety for those games. Although I think we lost that game primarily for other reasons, the disproportionate heat certainly did not help. Nevertheless, as I mentioned somewhere else, players from both teams were having issues. See article linked below. Even our guys from South Florida were having issues and, if I understand correct, players had to get IVs during the game and at halftime. I cannot imagine being a 300 pound lineman playing in that heat (whether one plays for the visiting team or the Dolphins). As you may recall, Korey Stringer died after a practice in Minnesota several years ago. I just read that the heat index at his last practice was 99° when practice ended. If I recall correctly, the heat index was well above 99° when the Bills played here in September. Sadly, it is to be expected that players may suffer heat stroke while playing in games at the Hard Rock where the heat index often exceeds 99°. It also is not beyond the realm of possibility that something worse could happen to players in an early afternoon game in September. I would not be surprised if the NFLPA looks into this at some point. Heat taking its toll in Bills-Dolphins game
  21. I live down here in Miami and think about this every year. It is a life safety issue more than anything else. As I wrote in a post up thread, I am a Miami Hurricane season ticket holder* and had the opportunity to choose between seats in the lower bowl on the 50 yard line on the sunny/visitor's side or seats in the lower bowl on the 30 yard line on the shady/home side. I chose the shady side because it is miserable being on the sunny side in September even in shorts and a t-shirt. *The Hurricanes and the Dolphins play in the same stadium.
  22. Some of you know that I live in Miami. I also have Miami Hurricane season tickets. A couple of observations: 1) I recall that Dolphin games in September used to be mostly at 4:00 pm, night games, or on the road. Somewhere along the line, this changed - I think with Steve Ross who presumably wanted to create a more pronounced advantage. I got in a Twitter argument about this with Dolphin fans after they barely beat us earlier this season. I did some research and ended up taking a look at the Dolphins' schedule from 1970 through 1989. Guess what? During that entire time, only 6.3% of Dolphin games before the last week of September were 1:00 pm home games. The rest (93.7%) were 4:00 pm games, night home games, or away games. The easy solution is to make sure that early regular season Dolphin games should be later in the day or on the road. 2) When they reconfigured Hard Rock Stadium, I had the opportunity to choose between the following for my Hurricane season tickets: a) 50 yard line in the lower bowl on the sunny side of the stadium (visitors' side - the side the Bills are on); or b) 30 yard line seats in the lower bowl on the home side (Hurricanes and Dolphins side of Hard Rock Stadium) Guess which side I chose . . . . 30 yard line on the home side. The sunny/vistors' side is miserable in September - even wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the stands. I cannot imagine playing in pads - let alone being a 300 pound+ linemen playing with pads. One day, there is going to be a Korey Stringer type of event at that stadium (heat stroke or death). The NFL will have no one but themselves to blame. P.S. This has little to do with winning or losing the game earlier this year. In fact, Dolphin players were having issues in the heat as well as Bills players from South Florida. This has everything to do with player safety. It is so unnecessary and can be easily resolved.
  23. According to PFF, the Bills have the worst run blocking line in the NFL while the Giants line is rated 13th best in the league. That also might have something to do with it. 🤔
  24. You are funny. You want to only blame the running backs as part of your narrative and still have not addressed why our line is rated the absolute WORST run blocking line in the entire NFL.
  25. I don't see a lot of room to run. An example from last year: we needed to convert a fourth and one against the Titans at the end of the game. Our line got crushed. In particularly, our supposed best lineman (Dawkins) got blown up. That play was one of the most important plays last year as it turns out. You could pretty much insert any of the top RBs in the history of the NFL behind this line and they would perform worse than they otherwise would. I am not saying we have a bunch of all pros at RB, but the line has performed worse and limits any potential our RBs have. As I wrote in the post above, PFF ranks us dead last in run blocking with a grade of 47.5. To put that in perspective, KC has the top grade with 77.6 and the team ranked 16 is Detroit with 59.2. P.S. I know some have issues with PFF's grades and grading, but they have us dead last. Not in the top five or top half or stop 3/4. We are dead last. Not a recipe for success. And that is with one of the better offensive line coaches in the NFL.
