If he were such a crap OC, why did McDermott hire him to begin with . . . . In any event, I asked a question and no one seems to know the substantive reason why he was fired other than people guessing like yourself. As an aside, I remember when McDermott was hired and fired the Bills' priest/minister. I suppose if I asked you why he was fired, you probably would say that he was a "crap" priest/minister. Wasn't he also a McDermott guy as well given the connection with the Carolina Panthers? Given Shula's vast experience and the fact that he basically was a consultant should not have been an issue one way or another unless there was something else going on.

I choose to believe that this is part of the negotiating process and that he will take something in line with the market. Having said that, I don't like the approach he is taking. Reminds me a bit of the diva with respect to whom we ended up taking a $30 million cap hit.

I hope that the Bills draft BPA rather than draft players sooner than they should be drafted because of "need." We saw how that worked out when there was so much pressure to draft a CB a few years ago.

FWIW - I have seen the Bills play in London twice and had a great time (except for the results of the game). If the Bills do end up playing overseas again, I just hope that Bills travel earlier to acclimate to the time difference.

Just to be clear, without Josh, we would probably be around .500 or worse. P.S. Without Josh, McD would have been let go a long time ago.

The Bills traded Diggs for a future second round pick and took a $31.1 million cap hit by trading him. If you think he was such a great teammate and was not a cancer or malcontent, the terms of the trade and the cap hit demonstrate otherwise. There is no way BB would have traded him under those circumstances if he had been a great teammate and leader behind the scenes.

I have to say that I really love Keon’s personality after watching the press conference.

I hope that this trade does not bite us in the arse like the Mahomes trade did. I am not so sure. Up until last night, I had a lot of confidence in Brandon Beane (not so much McD). I will reserve final judgment until after tonight. So far, it does not look good and I did not agree with his explanation. I think that they realized that the trade was not particularly well received by anyone (other than the Chiefs) and is one of the reasons why it took forever to have the press conference. Also, I seem to recall that in the past Beane said that GMs make an attempt to find out what the other team is going to do or at least make sure that they are not going to pick the guy we want. He seemed to go in a different direction last night on this subject.

As a Miami Hurricane fan, I think this guy is very good.

You sound like the sort that is unaware of how toxic Eichel and Diggs were. The proof of the pie is in the eating. If you have any doubt about it, just how toxic must a player be to trade a guy like Diggs for a future second round pick and take the cap hit that the team is taking. P.S. As for Reinhart, he had an expiring contract and was traded at the deadline. Different situation. I presume you already knew that. He also did not burn his bridges.

I will not individually embarrass them, but several of the posts of the Diggs' sycophants who steadfastly defended his "cryptic" social media posts and actions certainly did not age well. How toxic must a player be for a team to trade him for a future second round pick and take such a cap hit. Some of us tried to warn people. Oh well, we move on . . . .

Thanks to McD's trade of the rights to draft Mahomes, being able to win has been a lot easier for Andy.

I guess that would depend on just how good Marvin Harrison Jr. is and how the Bills evaluate him. As for the bad memories about what we gave up for Sammy, I agree and that would make me hesitate as well. For those of you who have seen Harrison play more than I have, is he a generational talent? If yes, a trade would be tempting. If not, keep our 2025 pick for next year.
