  1. he's still young, there is still a chance there will be more, he should buy a bigger house.
  2. yeah, those pages that are not stuck together...unless you REALLY like the article.
  3. I was going to say the same thing (spikes ILB), a playmaker is a playmaker, if we don't get Willis round 1, I think we could do it
  4. I agree and to think it cost Buffalo all of a 5th rounder, I think we'll be fine at DE next year, still need a big body next to him.
  5. agree, another option is to have spikes or Crowell move inside and getting a OLB later in round 2.
  6. Practice squad cheerleader, 6'4 235, I am thinking OLB, maybe strongside, an injury did me in, but I still look the part. and I still have sprinter speed
  7. Yeah I am really hopeful that some teams will release good vets, I a really hoping that team is the Vikings and that player is Pat Williams, I think he would return in a heart beat. However with the cap situation as it is I believe that the Vikes are well under the crap, plus he is their best player.
  8. I would be fine with that team, it would be a good product, my only concern is that we still don't trully have a weapon at TE, I really believe that a TE is the key to reaching the post season. Also, while I would love to see it, I don't think that Robert meachem will be availible in the third round. I think we could get a Dallas Baker there, he has very good ball skills, long arms, and is an ideal possesion WR. I think you could flip flop 2 and 3, Beekman will be there in the 3rd, if he's not Grubbs will be, both are better than our current starter, I think that Grubs has not hit his stride yet, I think he could turn inot a dominating RG. While I am at it, wasn't chris cooper involved in the Balco case? and Womack would start at RT or RG and not be a back up.
  9. when you look at what we need, trading down would serve us very well, more so than in years past, (of course, if it's an option) there is great value at WR, LB, DT and interior linemen, however most will still be around at 20. If fletcher leaves, I don't hink we have to draft an inside Linebacker, I think Spikes, if healthy which he will be, could slide over, leaving us with the option of drafting any LB position, also with Sidney rice declaring this might be the best WR draft since the Moulds/Harrison/Owens draft, yes even better than Evans/williams/williams/williams draft. Also there are only two DT I would take befroe the 15th pick, Branch who will be gone, and Okoye is still kind of a question mark and a gamble at 12, however Tank tyler at 20ish would be good value. and as far as interior Linemen are concern, I think at 20ish we could still get Blalock and more important get an additional first day pick and grab, grubbs, sears, or beekman or another tackle like Tony Ugoh, who could also play guard, and if Pennington doesn't continue to improve be our starting RT. my draft after trading down and picking up a third 20ish-DeMarcus "tank" tyler 2-Earl Everett -until he runs a 4.4 40 3a-Tony Ugoh T/G 3b-Aundrae Allison-WR-he has two girls names, he has to be tough. Or Paul williams, Craig Davis, Bowe, Steve Smith or Dallas Baker all would be good #2 WR assuming they can beat out Price, and Reed. 4-best player availible the rest of the way this also limits how many free agents we really need, I still think we need to get an interior lineman and re-sign Clements, Kelsay and Gandy....we should have the cap room to do this.
  10. more amazing than anything is Okoye play college football at 16, at 16!!! right now he sould be a soph, his best days have not even come. He is done growing either, in 2 years he will be a dominating force. However at the same time we might not see his best days, since we can't re-sign players anymore.
  11. Hey retard read that last line you wrote! His name is Jordan Black.....Jordaon black, I forgot he was such a star, freeney beat a 3rd maybe 4th tier LT......Deerrrerrr and like Pyrite said, where was he all season if he can do it every game....oh he didn't play Jordan Black every game. please end this debate. It's really stupid
  12. I think we'll re-sign Clements...honestly I think we will I think we re-sign Kelsey I think we re-sign Mike gandy too I think we let Fletcher walk I think we'll sign a TE like Graham, I like him, he is a good "move" TE, he can block for the backfield and I think we'll sign one FA Linemen, I am hoping it will be Steinbach, but I think they'll franchise him. I don't think we'll release/trade McGahee-the reason is simple this is not TD, who seems to hold grudges, this is Marv, and he'll calm the waters and get the best season out of McGahee. I could also see us signing another DT, I think the future is Kyle Williams....an off season of getting stronger and learning more will help. I would love to see us sign Smith, or even Scott, both are athletic big men. I am praying that Ralph opens his wallet a little more. I think you are Right on with Davis in round 1, he is a special type of ILB, and could start as a rookie. 2-I like your pick, however I've seen him as high as in the teens round 1, this is a very deep WR draft, so who knows, I also like Bowe and maybe later Steve Smith who is an ideal 2nd WR without the height. 3-I can't see Irons falling that far, I think he's a 2nd rounder, maybe even a late 1st....I like Tony Hunt here, or Kyle young here, if he was still on the board, Kyle Young is a special type, he could play Guard or RT too. If he was on the board here and we don't draft him, it might be Marv's biggest mistake, I feel he's the number 1 center, and a first rounder. I would love your draft, but I am hoping for more quality and less quantity in Free agency
  13. even a post injury Spikes is better than what we could get fr the same money in FA, Lance Briggs is a very good player, yes true, but he'll cash in much more than Spikes. not to mention there will be a cap hit if we release him, I prefer to extend his contract. and replace Fletcher, this draft is pretty solid at LB, if all we can get is a OLB than Spikes can handle the middle. He's far too valuable to release.
  14. It might be in our better interest if we loose Fletcher, we should draft a OLB, and fill the ILB with Crowell or better yet Spikes. Only a few rookies are able to play the interior their rookie years...they typically end up being the rookie of the year. draft as you would in the first round, hopefully a WR and then draft a speedy OLB like Earl Everett, I also think that PP (the LB) might fall, the acl/mcl injury might scare some teams. Fill the interior DL with a Free agent like Smith, re sign clements at almost any cost. What I am really hoping for is that Youboty shows why he was considered a 1st rounder and beats out McGee, who played absolutly bad this year.
  15. Gandy looked bad against Baltimore, and I don't mean bad meaning good, he was bad meaning bad. If we keep him I can't see him staying LG, maye RG if we're able to land Steinbach, but if we got Davis instead, I could see him staying then. I think a TE could be just as valuable, most sacks come from over load blitz packages. Add a TE you not only do you have a hot route, but if he's good the LBs have to stay aware of him, menaing less blitzing. also I am worried about Pennington, he got the label Lazy for a reason. He could have Robert Hicks written all over him. I would consider drafting a tackle day one, one who is able to play Guard or tackle, like an aaron sears. if he's there in the third round it would be nice.
  16. had he stayed for his senior year, I believe that he would have ended up being the #1 CB and if not #1 at least a 1st rounder, at OS he was as good as Clements, the death of his mother hurt. I still think he can rebound, he has the talent, he just will be a rookie again next year. He is not a bust.
  17. do everything I can to re-sign Clements, if we are outbid, so be it, but don't make it a lack of trying, make washington over pay! My back up plan is simple, thomas played well enough to start, Hopefully all the draft experts were right about Youboty. re sign Kelsey, I feel he is on the verge of being a top LE. let Fletcher walk. let tim anderson follow release CV, Reyes. Sign Robaire Smith, he has become very popular on this board, and since I am the driving of this here bus, and I have my ear on what the people want I get him. He has the size to play nose, and the quickness to play the 3, huge improvement over Anderson and Williams. Sign Danial Graham, considered by some to be the 4th best TE in the market, but he is imho the most complete, can line up in the backfield, put him in motion, line him wide Eric Steinbach or Leonard Davis to play LG both can dominate in different ways. This would be Buffalo's biggest offensive free agent signing in many years. Justin griffith I really feel that the days of the big 1 dem FB are a thing of the past, Griffith is a very good blocker, can carry the ball and has good hands. Draft-I would trade Mcgahee if I could get a 2nd rounder, even if that 2nd rounder is from Indy, which would almost be a 3rd, I think he is a cancer. 1-Since I have the Keys, I would trade down and draft Justin Blalock, it's time to make a dominating OL, Peters is very good, a Steinbach or davis are both Pro bowl level, Fowler is solid enough, and I think there is still untapped potential in Pennington, RG needs to be upgraded. After the trade I would get a third. 2a-Earl Everett OLB-great athlete, could play strong or weak, I think Spikes moves inside and Everett to strong side. Unless by the grace of God Paul Posluszny falls. More athletic LBs 2b-Steve Smith WR from USC perfect #2 WR, runs solid routes has long arms and makes tough catches, would work very well with Lee Evans 3a-Tyrone Moss RB-hard runner, more like Gore than Mcgahee 3b-Marcus Thomas DT from Florida, but you won't see him play next week, he was kicked off because of pot, he is still an outstanding DT, and was a very good person prior to his mistake, worth the risk, had he not got into trouble he'd be a 1st rounder 4-Kyle Young C/G/RT, preseason all american at Center, could back up or even play RT if Pennington fails in his 2nd year. 6 & 7 at this point best player availible
  18. Yes he was doubled a lot, also take into consideration McNair doesn't get sacked often, I think he is somewhere near 5 games in a row without. Adam Terry was good at SU, he was a 2nd round pick for a reason. To say that Schobel didn't deserve going to the pro bowl didn't see the game, they were in a two tight end set most of the game because of Schobel...Unless they typically run a two TE set, which just means I am wrong, either way, schobel deserves going to the pro bowl, how can you call yourself a fan and not want him in the pro bowl?
  19. I wish you were my teacher, I would have gone to one those smart colleges
  20. I think if we landed Steinbach, he starts at LG, Gandy played both with chicago, he isn't the greatest pass blocker, but is a solid run blocker, move him to right. Womack is overrated, I'd like to see what pennington becomes, that and add a 4th rounder.
  21. I think you said it in the first line, good not great, unless the giants have some wierd thing for Miami players...which it looks like the do.
  22. I think they sould give us a 2nd for his services, I'd take TO if they gave a 2nd rounder with him. Not an option? ohh! then no, why does a WR have to be a number two, why not a TE? the free agent class is strong at TE. Royal makes for a very good 2nd TE, I really like Graham, from the Pats I think he's the most complete TE in the NFL not in Atlanta, great hands and great blocker,(for a TE) and since he's buried among the TE in NE he will be cheaper than Gonzo. He is on the verge of have a breakout season, why not in Buffalo.
  23. easy answer, there is a reason that nate will get a huge offer, and that Fletcher might get something good, but not near the same level. Nate Clements is a top 5 CB, Fletcher is top 5 in stats, however If you add interior linemen in there, that can stop the run, and force the ball to be bounced outside, fletcher's numbers suffer. He also gets lost and he doesn't have the greatest vision being 5'9" I also will add, CB have been able to play late in their career without losing too much, ILBs don't have many years after 30. now ask the question would I keep Nate if he is going to get a 20 million dollar signing bonus and a contract that could destroy the fran if he gets injured, while Fletcher's might be a safe one, and the answer might change. another thing to ponder the last two rookies of the years have both been interior LBs (assuming Ryans wins this year) and IMHO we could get a future starter in the 3rd round. But for the time being Spikes-Crowell-Ellison/coy wire.....I think if he stays yet another year, he should go ahead and add the bulk. Z Thomas is not much bigger than Coy wire, it's just padding that makes the difference.
  24. okay sorry, bad Idea, I am so stupid! true or false in the cover 2 the cb are in zone coverage for the most part, almost like a safety.
