  1. Lucky for me, I bought the lifetime sub for my sirius. What kind of units does everyone have? I got the s50 right now.
  2. Hot!!! Maybe I got the wrong link
  3. the one position on our team that I worry the most about is Right tackle, if you recall we had a rookie starting there, and he needed help. What if he doesn't improve? or worse does a Robert Hicks and gets worse. While pennington has a chance, he also has a chance at not making it too, If we do sign Davis, and it's a Big IF, at the very worse he could move to RT if pennington struggles, it's also the reason I'd re-sign Gandy. So get Dielman and Davis, but also re-sign Gandy. Peters-Dielman-Fowler-Davis-Pennington with Gandy on the bench able to play 4/5 of the line and Preston 3/5. Not bad, better than 06
  4. I know it's not a good example, but when the all powerful sporting news projects us drafting a TE first round, maybe just maybe Royal is a good fall back, but not the answer. Graham would be a bargin, he is a better version of Royal, he's an excellant blocker and runs routes like a WR. If I recall correctly prior to the beginning of last year they were talking about running a lot of 2 TE sets, but do to injuries and failed talents, we were unable to do the things fairchild wanted. What I really like about graham is he is an excellant FB too, several times during the season they would line him up in the backfield to lead block. A two TE set will give JP more time to throw, as soon as one of the LBs looks to blitz, make that TE a hot route, if a safety moves up throw it deap to Evans, not to mention the running game will improve. There are so many options when you have a good 2 TE set. and we can't hope that we'll fine one late in te draft, there isn't that much talent there.
  5. Randy Starks would be worth a 2nd round pick, there is no way we could find that talent at DT in the 2nd round
  6. Also, just when I thought I couldn't hate Tom Brady anymore..... C sucker
  7. I think Ryan Seacrest got his Hudsons mixed up...seacrest out...of the closet? not just yet.
  8. In 13 games, in which he started 0 Sands had 37 tackles and one sack In his career 73 and 2 in 43 games I prefer trying to get randy Starks from tenn. he's younger, more athletic and makes more plays
  9. there is nothing tight about Mike williams, plus tampa will never let him go
  10. for a third round pick? we'd be crazy not too, I don't think it would cost that much, as Jokeman said they have a pretty good rotation, they might just let him go, I would give him the contract buffalo gave tripplett, but I would add some bonus' that would make it hard to match. He fits buffalo's scheme too. then get us some Patrick willis, and then address the OL in the 2nd, unless one of the two TEs are there.
  11. the days of building are over, well, kind of, you have to get lucky, (jason Peters and maybe Pennington) not pick players that don't amount to anything (Mike Williams) and then add some key guys via free agency, some cheap (Mike gandy and Fowler) some expensive (villarrial) and hopefully you become good. Sadly after a single good year, Villiarrial has become a waste, but I wouldn't cut him until training camp, just in case. and Gandy has one great moment where he'll open a great hole that Mcgahee will miss, but follow it up, by giving up a drive killing sack. I thought Willie Roaf's career was done before going to KC, where he continued his hall of fame play until he retired last year. Again, I wouldn't close any option to make this team better, even bringing back Ruben.
  12. While it means giving up a draft pick, I think he would only be a 2nd or better yet third round (if anyones knows, that would be great) My only concern with Okoye is his size, while I believe he can add bulk, as a rookie he is a 3 tech, like McCargo and Tripplett, we need a nose! Randy starks' size, 6'3" 312, numbers last year in the rotation including Haynesworth and Robaire Smith 40 tackles and 3 sacks, including one against Buffalo. If it was a third we would be stupid not too, even a 2nd I would understand, he is only 23, this would allow us to trade down from 12 and still get a starting LB and get another 3rd or 4th rounder.
  13. he's a little better than Vill, he is a little more athletic which would help him, he would be a cheap bandaid, however all championship teams have cheap bandaids, players too old and unwanted. well except the colts. if he came here under a 1 or 2 year contract, I would entertain it.
  14. Back when I worked at Disney I got to to meet her, she's a really nice person, but this was before "genie in a bottle" was even out...I am sure she's changed.
  15. webster & Different strokes...any time a short black child that is really an adult playing someone much younger, gets adopted by a white family I am glued to the TV.
  16. Start by re-signing Coy wire....done thank God Re-sign Nate Clements 6 year deal, 58 million and a 15 million dollar signing bonus...sounds about right? re-sign Mike Gandy 2 year deal worth 4.1 million 1.4 million dollar signing bonus re-sign Thomas keep Hargrove Let Fletcher and Kelsey walk, we are strong at both positions depth wise, Crowell can shift over and Denney outplayed Kelsey and I think Hargrove will be able to start at LE. Sign Eric Steinbach-LG, I think we can create a more athletic OL, and he is a great start. Drew Bennett-WR, here's why this years WR class might be one of the strongest of all time, 6, maybe more, will go first round. Bennett is the perfect compliment to Evans. He's tall and crafty, he creates a solid 2nd option at WR. and he's still young. Cosey Coleman G-kind of fell off the map in Cleveland, I'd bring him in to compete, he wouldn't cost much, so it might be worth a look. Al Singleton OLB-another inexpensive player, has been in Tampa 2 before...in tampa, Could add depth or play strong side in the event Spikes moves inside. Drafting 1-Raiders-Russell-need a QB for future 2-Lions-Joe Thomas-will play RT 3-Browns-Calvin johnson-can't pass him up, they feel good about frye, Johnson and Edwards could be explosive 4-Bucs-Brady Quinn-QB is their weakest position 5-Cards-Alan Branch-need to address interior line 6-Redskins-Jamal Anderson-DE-the redskins get one of the very best in the draft 7-Vikes-Ted Ginn-Vikes need a WR. 8-Texans-Peterson-Texans won't pass on a RB this year 9-Dolphins-Okeyo-Holliday and Traylor are likely gone 10-Falcons-Reggie Nelson-clearly the best DB in the draft, they need youth and play makers there 11-49ers-Leon hall-49ers need to improve D backfield 12-BILLS-No Okeyo, which is who we target, 2nd choice Patrick Willis replaces Fletcher 22-after we trade our 2nd, 3rd and a 5th next year we move up to draft Tank Tyler-reasoning? we needed to address the interior DL in the draft after Tyler there is a huge drop off. a move we will regret one day round 4-Cory Anderson-might be the best iso blocker at FB round 6-Manuel Ramirez-guard-- big & strong, but limited athletically round 7-Scott Chandler-TE with great height-was productive at Iowa. Opening day line up Bennett-Peters-steinbach-Fowler-Gandy-Pennington-Royal-Evans Losman Anderson Mcgahee End of the year prediction Bennett-Peters-Steinbach-Fowler-Coleman-Gandy-Royal-Parrish-Evans Losman McGahee after Pennington struggles Gandy makes another move, and we set up in a 3 wide set Defense (opening) Schobel-Tripplett-Williams-Denney Crowell- Willis- Spikes McGee Clements Simpson Whitner ending Schobel-McCargo-Tyler-Hargrove Crowell willis Spikes Youboty Clements Simpson Whitner McGee gets injured week 2 or 3 and youboty comes in and plays lights out, when mcGee returns he is the nickle, Denney returns to the bench as part of the rotation, tripplett is outplayed by McCargo, and Tyler starts, using Kyle Williams as a spark plug off the bench. understand the following was for entertainment only the end
  17. you were at the playboy party and you are telling us about Spikes? It's cool you saw him, but I think you may want to adjust your priorities.
  18. say what you want about prince, Purple rain was a great record, and my first...I'm thirty now, do the math and yeah, my parents didn't know any better. Prince is a Gen x pop icon, and he didn't touch kids.
  19. just to add to that list, the sporting news in all of their stupidity have the Bills taking Zack Miller, TE arizona st. with quinn going to the Chiefs at 23, and Willis going 2nd round. year after year i question TSN
  20. QB-actually pretty strong, two easy 1st rounders, and a bunch of players that will make teams and a few starters in the future, better than last year. RB-strong up front, very weak in the back FB-Really strong WR-IMHO best since Moulds, Harrison, Johnson, Owens. TE-really weak, maybe one day 1 pick Tackle-good depth, but only 1 that will go top 15. guard-actually very strong, maybe 3 in the 1st round Center-weak, though Kyle Young is very good DE-not the athletes we've seen, but overall very strong, and very deep DT- weak....Branch is head and shoulders above everyone, Okoye and Tyler are good, but not nearly in the same class. and Pitcock is a smaller version of tim anderson. Compared to last year weak OLB-not like last years class but very good ILB-also very good, Willis will be rookie defensive player of the year, rookie LBs always win it and he is the best next year. and if he ends up in Buffalo he'll have a ton of chances to stop the run. Like fletcher but faster, and bigger. CB-strong up front, and good depth, if I were washington I would draft a CB and forget Clements...if I were washington. Safeties-average, glad we got our two starters last year, Ko Simpson would have been the number 1 or 2 safety in this draft. overall good, better depth than years past except at RB and DT
  21. some of those stats are a little misleading, Pitcock got a lot of playing time over 4 years, and his sack numbers are less than average, Branch, not nearly as much and his numbers are average. Okoye got little playing time, as he was part of a rotation, early in his career. and Tyler had 3 first round picks as teamates. I like tyler, but he has Off the field issues, I am hopeful he falls into the 2nd round. another DT I like, that would fit into the 3 is Marcus Thomas out of Florida, he was kicked off the team for weed. but he's a good person, just like ron mexico.
  22. First, I think we've turned the corner a little in Buffalo, had we lost the last half of the season, I'd say he has a point, we suck. but every sign is showing the pride returning, Royal makes that catch, we don't lose to detroit earlier in the season, and we have ourselves a playoff team. And where might he be going? washington? and they are so much better, they have more questions about their QB then we do. and worse they have gregg williams. and I am hoping that IF New england wins the super bowl this year, Samuels is MVP, it will make him the hot CB, and he went to UCF. (orlando)
  23. 1-Patrick Willis, he makes the most sense, starter out of the gate, there isn't a DT that I would pick at 12. Okoye has what they say is upside, and if Willis goes early, yeah I would take him. But Willis is better. 2-Tony Ugoh-Tackle from Ark, it's not that I think Pennington isn't going to start, but if he has 2nd year growing pains I don't want to have to start Brad Butler. Tony Ugoh could also play guard. 3-Craig Davis-LSU WR with good size, was the 2nd WR there and would be here as well, but actually has the speed to open the field and size to not be knocked out of his route. 4-Manuel Ramirez-has Larry allen type size. good back up, could start. 6-Tyrone Moss-short and squatty RB. more Gore than McGahee, was injured a lot in college after signing, Daniel graham, Eric Steinbach, and Robaire Smith and re-signing Nate Clements and Mike gandy we have plenty of cap room to do this. this is would be my simple plan
  24. he's charlie Rogers with passion, Holtz said he had the best hands in college football, I've seen him play only 3 times, but if he falls into the 2nd, we should grab him, but I think he's a mid 1st rounder.
