if at the end of the year we see 6 rookies starting AND a winning record, I think it could go down as one of the greatest early results in Bills history.

having watched the game twice now, (I had time on my hand) I'd have to say if there was a three way race between them, the order would be Harris, bowen and then ellison, I'd even put Palmer over Ellison. I know that it is not fair to judge due to the talent in the game at the time. afterall Ellison looked like a slow, out of place safety against starters and Bowen and Harris looked like active linebackers vs 2nd and third teamers. I am very interested in how this will turn out, I think after our lack of pressure from our DEs, the other OLB is the biggest concern. I am cheering for Harris to get it, regardless we could keep 7 LBs active on the 53, Ellison, Poz, Mitchell, Bowen, thomas, harris and Buggs. Is it too late to look into signing Brooks? to add to this topic, I can't see keeping a FB, even if he is a great special teamer. Buffalo needs 4 TEs

anyone on the board has your wife/girlfriend
frogger replied to frogger's topic in Off the Wall Archives
he plays bass for the band soil, while the band isn't household. They seem to have a good following, if you know anyone who happens to have any of their CDs, in the Thank you section you'll see her name, in the later years he put a small love note in there for her. they were pretty serious for 8 years. -
my girlfriend, of several months, dated a kind of famous person, famous to some, I had no idea of who it was, but like an idiot I googled him, and sure enough I got to see him...Anyone else on the board do anything similar?

Dirk Verbeuren of soilwork....not sure if you actually were joking but Richard Christy, really was an amazing drummer, anyone that can do death metal is up there. And He was the drummer for one of the greatest death metal bands, Death -
11-Andre Smith, younger version of Peters 21-Robert Ayers DE 2nd-Jarron Gilbert DT 3rd-Eric Wood or any other center that could play guard 3rd (from Philly) traded for Tony Scheffler 4th-Jason Williams OLB and more depth

Gilbert is moving up fast -
I am not saying this is a long term plan, this is a very short minded, get it done the next 2 years plan. As a fan I can't wait much longer. trade our 3rd this year and 4th next for shaun Rogers, assuming that it doesn't destroy the cap of either team. trade our 4th this year and a 7th for Tony Scheffler, 6'5" 255 40 catches last year for 645, the Broncos are looking to trade him. Send Chris Kelsey with the trade, I believe they are moving to a 3-4 and I think Kelsey would be good as a OLB in a 3-4 Sign Jullian Peterson, or Cato June re-sign crowell, we all know that 3 starting LBers are not enough draft with the 21st pick draft Micheal Johnson. why the 21st pick, we traded down, the eagles who are not afraid of a person's "look" want to get a LT, Andre Smith or Oher will be there at 11, so they give up their first and their 3rd. and when a coach, calls him Peppers clone its good. 2-Duke Robinson, I think the signing of Geoff Hangartner, means that we are set at center for the time being, I was talking to a panthers fan, he said that Hangartner was a good addition. My reasoning for getting a Guard instead of a TE, besides the trade, is this, sure we could try to trade for Waters, but waters carries a large income, robinson has potential and the leap isn't too great for most college guards, compared to TEs...Rookie TE sometime struggle. this move is cheaper and produces faster results. 3 (from the eagles)-Mitch King DE/DT-a Aaron Kampman clone, I hope. He's a worker and someone that I think will be a good LE. 4-gone 5-Davon Drew-some what productive TE, with a 4.7 forty time, but a good blocker, which we lack on the current roster 6- Tony Fiammetta, Syracuse FB that can catch the ball and is a good athlete, ran a 4.6 40 so... OL of Peters-Robinson-Hangartner-Butler-Pennington (chambers, Bell and others)-better than last year, not by much TE-Tony Scheffler, (Derek Fine, Davon Drew)-much better than last year WR Owens-Evens-Reed (hardy, Johnson, and Parrish)-much improved QB Edwards (Fitz)-I think a year under the same system and with better options= better RB Lynch or Jackson-same, though I think they should get equal carries FB Fiammetta-not sure DL Schobel (if healthy) Stroud-Rogers-Denney (Johnons, Williams, King, Johnson and Ellis)-if healthy much LB Peterson or June-Poz-Mitchell or Crowell (crowell or Mitchell, Ellison, Lehman)-ditto CB Youboty-McKelvin (McGee, corner and Fllo)-less, I thought greer was our best CB SS-Scott (wendling)-same FS-Whitner (Simpon)-same please remember this is for fun.

Alabama Offensive Tackle Andre Smith
frogger replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd take him in the 2nd round, and wouldn't blink, he played in the SEC against good players week after week and dominated, so what if he isn't the workout warrior that D'Brick was, he could play Guard week one in the NFL -

be happy they didn't tip the port o potty over. -
not against the idea, since I feel he best fits the LOLB position, and if Crowell isn't 100% he is a reasonable solution, at the very least add much needed depth
-
I think in the 2nd I'd have to take william moore, or even Duke Robinson over jackson

I can't help being a fan, even when they suck. As I see it, when this team finally turns around (it will happen) I know that the feeling will be great. I sat with a jets and Cleveland fan this past game, and they agree with me, where were the Pats fans before they became a good team...I don't want people to say that about Buffalo. I can't be a fair weather fan like the pats fans.

we all can see why, he is like the parent that lets his kids get away with anything they want, and never challenges them. God Forbid the players be afraid of the head coach. With all that said, I think the support staff has to go...new Defensive Cord, I think that goes without saying, this lay back and react defense sucks, what happened to an attacking defense?! Make the offense adjust to the D, not the D to the Offense, get creative. How about a DC that demands respect, one of the Fired Head coaches...I'd take Romeo, why not? without question we are going to have to see a new OC, another time to get a former Head coach or at least someone that has been an OC. While I am disappointed with Wilson's choice, I guess I have no choice but to live with it.

Not sure if he is still availible, he may have re-signed with the Ravens or will be fran'd, but Suggs, then convince him that he will do what is best for him and put his hand down and play RE. Sign Mike Peterson, sure he's older, but we lack aged good players that can have an impact, injuries and issues with head coach del rio make him a rather cheap addition. He could be placed at any LB position. Sign Brian Dawkins, he is still one of the very best FS in the game, If we are going to make a giant leap into the playoffs we are going to have to take on some older players, worked for the pats, jets (maybe) and other teams that take these chances. then the question remains, are we going to stick it out with Edwards? Scenrio-I feel that if Bradford or Stafford are there where we pick we have to take them, however that would mean they would have to get past Detroit, Seattle, St Louis, KC and the 49ers, all which could use a new QB. So lets stick with Edwards here. 1-Brian Orakpo or Michael Johnson, both potential could play LE or be rotated in. 2-Chase Coffman-I think he is going to be a great TE in the NFL, a Dallas clark/Todd heap (when healthy) type a smart chain mover. 2b-after trading a 3rd (2009) and next years 2nd we draft Terrence Cody, a sprained MCL or ACL (not sure which) may make him fall, also a 5.5 40 will not help, but he is a Ted washington/Shaun Rogers like player. 6'5 and weighing somewhere near 375, he paired with Stroud, Suggs and Orakpo or Johnson could make for an interesting line. 3b-after trading Aaron Schobel for a third-IMHO there are 5 Centers in this draft better than Fowler and Preston, Jeff Byers is one of them, on the smaller side sure, but he could be a huge steal, at one time he was considered one of the potential best linemen in USC history, injuries have taken that honor away, he has been pretty healthy so far this year and could be had here. 4th-Curtis Painter-Purdue product, has had a very good career. Has played in cold weather, and since Losman is gone, we need a 2nd or 3rd stringer, here is someone that could potential start one day. 5th-Jorvorskie Lane FB/short yardage spec 6' 285-could be a thunder to Lynch and Jackson's lightning 6-Cedric Dockery-brother is Derrick Dockery, could be a good back up 7-who cares sure its far fetched -
the eagles didn't draft a QB in the 2nd round to sit him, and McNabb counts for something like 11 million on their salary cap next year, and nothing if he is let go...he'll be availible, if we can out bid chicago we would have a chance to get him. I don't expect to find a QB any other way. a QB that is from the north and played in the north...these Cali guys need to go!

Jabari Greer has been our best defender, if anyone he should be a pro bowler

I still blame Bush, since being elected we have not seen the Bills in the playoffs. Bush hates the Bills

losing Aiken, Stamer and Haggen, I guess, was bigger than I thought. Our coverage teams suck so far this season. Lindell needs to kick through the end zone. -
I've never been to another stadium other than the Ralph to watch football, anyone else going?

After last season I thought Greer was our best Corner, if any starter gets replaces it will be McGee...but I don't think that will happen -
Congrats to Bell, the moment I heard his story, I was a fan. I am a little concern about our lack of TEs, Royal and two injured undersized guys
