I am not sure about Kelsey being the slowest OLB in the league, I did a quick check of his 40 time http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...ayers/2573.html This draft grade in interesting, read what they say or just read this...the analysis is the most interesting part, oh and his 40 time was 4.71...Calvin Pace was 4.75 Lance Briggs was 4.74 POSITIVES: Explosive and athletic pass rusher who may be best standing up over tackle. Tough but also smart and plays an intelligent brand of football. Quick anticipating the action, disciplined and stays with his assignments. Gets off the ball with a good first step, keeps his pads low and feet driving up the field. Immediately alters his angle of attack, flatens and pursues from the backside displaying great range with the ability to make plays in any direction of the field. Effective off the line playing in space and quickly closes on the action with a burst of closing speed. Fast enough to beat ball carriers to the flanks or cut off the corners from running backs. Works hard to rush the passer, deceptively strong and defeats two blockers on his way up the field. A warrior who plays while injured. NEGATIVES: Lacks bulk and has difficulty with big blockers. Though he held up against the run in college, may not be able to do so at the next level. ANALYSIS: Kelsay's athleticism and tenacity, coupled with his football intellect gives him the possibility at a variety of positions. Could grow into an every down defensive end in a four-three alignment but his movement skills and ability to immediately redirect to the action gives him a lot of potential at outside linebacker in a 34 defense.

Kama Sutra for the kiddies of Helena, MT

I just want to remind everyone this is a Utah newspaper, with a Utah conservative agenda, which is very conservative, I am sure that it is not nearly as bad as the article will make it seem. remember special lucky underwear, and a religion started in Palmyra, New York -
Who will be the "promising" cuts?
frogger replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
according to sirius NFL, hangartner was Buffalo's best OL last year. I don't think he will be cut, he is not great but he is at least average and average isn't horrible. If wood is moved there, who takes over RG, a rookie? not part of what was quoted, Kelsey will have a good year as an OLB, he was over-matched as an LE, playing in space he'll be fine. Coming out of Neb, he was considered an Outside LB in the 3-4 or an undersized end. He is every bit as athletic as Jarrett Johnson, he'll be fine. Nic Harris will be with this team, no question. In dime packages and in Nickels his ability to cover TEs and deep zone will be very important. I expect Moats to be on the PS. Our ILBs will be Poz, Davis, Mitchell and Harris. OLBs Maybin, Torbor, Kelsey, Battan (special teams is where he will get his start) and Coleman (ST again) DE-Stroud, Edwards, carrington, Johnson NT-Troup, Williams and Harvey CB-McGee, McKelvin, Florance, Corner, and sargeant safeties-Whitner, Byrd, wilson, Scott QBs-Edwards, Brohm, and Fitz with Brown on PS RBs Spiller, Jackson, and Lynch FB McIntyre TE Stupar, nelson and Klopfenstein My starting OL- Jamon Meredith, Andy Levitre, Geoff Hangartner, Eric Wood and Cornell Green, if Bell is Healthy, Bell might start at RT, not a LT, I feel Meredith can be the starter there for the next 10 years if healthy. back ups Bell, Calloway, and Gaddis with Wang be on the PS. Sanborn the LS WR-Evans, Jackson, Johnson, Parrish, and Easley-Hardy is gone, Naaman Roosevelt on PS Lindell and Moorman I think that is 52 dressed at this point -
Once again we didn't play what we practiced
frogger replied to Mark Long Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expect to see an improved Whitner, it might be possible that the tampa 2 wasn't the right defense for him. One thing I think we will see is a nickel package with 3 safeties and whitner moving into the slot. "experts" said he had the cover skills of a corner coming out of college (they didn't say a first round corner, but still) his size and physical nature are ideal for this style defense, if he can get his hands on the slot WR and not allow a clean break, it might let the blitz get to the QB. This also why I think McGee might be expendable. He isn't the "mix it up at the line" corner this defense needs. Drayton Florence might be a better fit, having played in a pressing 3-4 in SD. If his health was better i would put McGee back as kr. -
Which quarterback are you pulling for ultimately
frogger replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brohm is the youngest, so if he had a good year it would be more to build on, not that Fitz and Edwards are old, I just feel I've seen enough of them. I would love to see Brohm be everything the scouts thought he'd be after his junior year....but in Buffalo -
Agree, during the draft I kept wishing Buffalo would draft him. Green Bay tried to hide him on their ps. They had too many other needs to fill and Clifton was there starting LT. I am pretty sure they thought they could get away with it. Meredith played well, considering he was a midseason pick up and a rookie...I think he'll start next season at RT, with Bell at LT. I am hopeful that Bell's story is featured on Sportscenter or during an NFL pregame, Karl Malone is a douche So next years team would have 4 2nd year players, when you consider how far Bell had to come.

Odd fact, I dated Debra Lafave's cousin for a little while, she lives Orlando, they are very similar in looks, but the one I dated wasn't as much fun.
-
I'd be okay with that, as long as Cody wasn't the pick, put in Cam Thomas and we have a deal, I have a bad feeling about Cody. and add a QB in the middle rounds for PS and possible future. oh and start Wilson at SS, he is the best SS buffalo has, add in an attempted trade of Whitner, Lynch and Roscoe, even for middle round help

Dime package he comes in to play LB

Kyle williams plays with GREAT leverage, I truly believe that he's not a stack the line type NT, but he has a good to great first step, rarely takes a bad step and again leverage is key at NT...he might be undersized....but he has a over sized heart and determination-that sounded a little gay, and don't care I woke up in a great mood.

that is a horrible quote from a horrible movie....no one should ever quote Boondock saints 2...NEVER!

well put, I am all for getting Bradford, even if it means trading up.

Trades I make to improve our Bills
frogger replied to FavreDolla_Footlong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about whitner straight up for Shaun Rogers. Cleveland needs a safety, Buffalo needs a NT. As much as a let down whitner has been, he's young and still has potential, Shaun rogers is what he is, fat and lazy, but dominating at times. make this trade, rogers and Williams as Buffalo's rotation at NT, its a good start. -
Are we still gonna try to trade Whitner
frogger replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you're kidding right? George Wilson is far better than Whitner -
I wouldn't be too upset if it happens. 1-Sam Bradford QB 2-Brandon Spikes ILB 3-Jason Fox LT 4-George Selvie OLB 5-Torrell Troup NT 6-Kevin Haslam OT 6b-Riley Cooper WR 7-Nate Byham TE 7b-Kevin Basped DE

Byrd and Wilson are good to great, so no.

With the switch to a 3-4, a lot of holes to fill
frogger replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is the loss of Butler a real concern, he didn't play much last year, and I thought Meredith played very well, even better considering he was a rookie. I also felt that Scott played well enough. At WR, one or two free agents (maybe a chambers) would be enough. On Defense the real concern isn't the DL, as I see it Williams could play the nose see Kelly Gregg and Jay Ratliff. Of course I would like to see an upgrade. But the real concern is MLB, Poz is fine, and a healthy Mitchell would be fine as well, but we lack depth there. I have faith in Schobel returning. 1-LT unless bradford falls 2-NT or MLB 3- NT or MLB perfect Sign Larry Foote 1-Davis or Bryan Bulaga 2-Terrence Cody or Thomas-even fat he takes up blockers 3-Eric Norwood-listed as a OLB, but could play MLB 4-Mike Neal-to play DE -
according to his Uncle this is true. His Uncle Matt told me months ago he was considering going into politics, during the summer he has worked with Jack Kemp. I was hoping that it wasn't true. (I work with Matt)

a huge part of me wants both QBs gone before Buffalo picks.

Does the 3-4 change who we draft?
frogger replied to HooperBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I truly believe that if Schobel returns, he will be extremely productive in the 3-4 as an OLB. he is a much better athlete than given credit for. -
can't do both? there are better odds of getting a average to good LT in the 2nd round, or maybe we will see Buffalo take a chance and get a Vet. I think McNeill would be great. If we see buffalo sign one free agent, why not him. Since we know of three real problems, and several little problems. why not tade back into the 1st. if Buffalo is lucky enough to get Clauson with the 9th pick, why not give up the 2nd and whitner and/or Lynch to move back into the 1st add a 2nd in 2011 if this is not enough. there has to be a team looking for a RB or safety at the end of the 1st round. then Buffalo could draft trent williams or Campbell. 1-Jimmy clauson 1b- Bruce Campbell 3- Rob Gronkowski TE-injuries will make him fall 4-Freddie Barnes-6' 210 WR-155 catches in one season 5-Jared Veldheer-6'8" 321 pound OT-youtube his clean press 6-back up Running back address defense with free agents Derrick Johnson-should want out of KC Keith Bulluck-you have to take chances on Vets he has time left in this league Kyle Vanden Bosch-to play LE had 3 sacks last year, but made the pro bowl after drop outs.

Offensive line or QB with first pick?
frogger replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree, if one of those QBs are there, we have to draft one. I prefer Clauson, I think he will have similar career to Carson Palmer. If they are both gone, McClain or a Left tackle. and pray that Brohm or Edwards were a result of horrible coaching, and chan can fix it. -
I have a feeling trent Williams might fall into the 2nd round, or at the very least 25th and up. Scouts are questioning if he can play LT.
