  1. I honestly don't believe a LT at ten would be a good move. Martin is the 2nd coming of Winston justice. Sure, he's a descent player, but never will he be elite. Honestly, cordy Glenn has more potential of be great and if it doesn't work you could slide him to RG. Before you say he's a guard, he started at LT for Georgia. But, I'd trade down if we were going this route. I'd rather get a linebacker or corner.
  2. Linebacker is our biggest need IMHO, while addressing LT is a priority. We currently we only have 1 good LB and one hopefully at least average. In the first three rounds we must address this and still draft another later. Martin and Reiff are reaches at ten.
  3. I have a feeling he'll be a Bill next year. Any bets nix offered him a contract, then was told if he could find better we will match it? Bell, is one of my favorite Bills in a long time. I love under dogs and because I hated Karl Malone for the way he treated magic Johnson. I hope he becomes great, simply to hear how horrible Malone is as a human.
  4. after addressing the DL, without question. I feel he is a 2nd tier player, almost elite. Plug him into the Middle move Kelvin out to Sam, and Barnett at Will and we see a rather strong 7 man front.
  5. My crystal ball says, Kelsey will see time on first downs and situations were they think the other team will run. The over/under on his sack totals are at 3. He will first have to beat out Kyle Moore, which might be more difficult than first thought.
  6. Why not McNeill? He's healthy again and would be huge improvement.
  7. The "Will" will be Barnett The "Mike" will be Shepard The "sam" will be Merriman Based on the team we currently have this is my prediction The sam plays at the line when there is a TE on his side. Typically the largest of the group, he has to take on the TE. Why Merriman fits? (*assuming he is healthy) he can hold the line of scrimmage against any TE, playing next to Mario Williams, teams will keep their TE in for blocking duties. In the event that they pass and the TE releases you'll be asking a RT to block Williams or Merriman until he gets help. George Wilson then picks up the TE in coverage. It Kind of looks like a 3-4 with a NG head up on the Center, the 3 playing the gap between the LG and LT (which is called the 3) and the RE outside of the LT. The LE goes pretty close to Heads up over the RT and the Mike plays almost over the RG. The Key to this defense is Will, he has to be able to fly around and make tackles. Barnett is clearly our best LB and makes the most sense. When there isn't a TE on the strong side, Merriman could get lost, I am hoping that his read and react skills are better than many here think. In the draft, Lavonte David from Neb fits the Will nearly perfectly. Dont'a Hightower has the size to play the Sam and the athletic ability to play the Mike. Currently I see the following happening. on run downs (or more than 2 WR are in the game) Merriman plays Sam and Kelsey plays RE. On passing downs they can shuffle Merriman in to RE along with Moats and maybe Batten if he makes the team.
  8. I could still see him playing Sam LB, at least on first downs, then put his hand down on passing downs. He hasn't been absolutely horrible covering. He'll more than likely be moved around and asked to blitz from all angles.
  9. Honestly, I think Buffalo needs a first TE. Chandler is an excellent 2nd TE.
  10. With the increase of teams using the 3-4, switching to the 4-3 makes sense. The RE needs to be addressed round one or two. Love the move, best of luck to Edwards.
  11. Typical reaction to an oversized person, "it must be Roid rage". It couldn't simply be the guys a giant a-hole who happens to be on steroids.
  12. Del Rio would be an excellent linebacker coach for Buffalo after DW gets promoted.
  13. Anyone that doesn't fit a 4-3 defense. Merriman can play DE, as a pass rush specialist. Starting line....Kelsey, KW, MD, carrington/Johnson.
  14. Sheppard's future could be as a strong side olb, in next year's 4-3 defense.
  15. http://www.footballsfuture.com/2012/fa/ol.html Look who tops their list, before the season I recall experts saying Buffalo had the worse offensive line in the NFL. The one Free agents I would Target, after re-signing ours, based on this website. Cortland Finnegan CB- I like his toughness, if he's willing to get into a fight with the most physical WR in the NFL he can play for me. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=SBT6MygnKKw We need this kind of fight in our secondary.
  16. I'm cheering for the gates of hell to swallow the stadium whole.
  17. As a pass rusher, I like melvin ingram, from south Carolina, he is one of the most physical players in college. I don't think its a high priority, but a 2nd TE, creates additional plays for Chan's mind.
  18. Or the stevie Johnson jersey and bills hat, or the shelf of bills stuff in what I'm guessing is a bills room.
  19. Simple...its called take out. Unless you enjoy the KFC atmosphere
  20. The girlfriend joined me for the game...sorry guys my bad... 5-0 without her around 0-3 with her.
  21. What's buffalo's record when down at the half in buffalo?
  22. When he's on the field, there are ten other guys I'd rather see get pancaked, maybin is the least of my worries, if he matches up against Freddy, Jackson is going to have a giant day.
  23. Attack their safeties, as good as their corners are their safeties are horrible. Chandler needs a 6 to 8 catch game.
