  1. Ricky Wagner in the 5th, played LT at wisc, better suited for RT or guard, true sleeper.
  2. 1-KC-Luke Joeckel-LT-no stunning move, it's Joeckel or Fisher. 2-Jax-Geno Smith-QB-this will suck, I was hoping he would fall to us. New coach has only seen current QBs lose. 3-Oakland-Ezekiel Ansah-DE-Oakland needs about every position, if they can't move back they get the best athlete in a need position 4-Philadelphia-Dion Jordan-DE/OLB-obvious Oregon connection. 5-Detroit-Eric Fisher-LT-Detroit get Fisher or Joeckel and they are happy. The only thing that could ruin this, if Miami gives up a boatload to move up. 6-Cleveland trades 6th to San Diego for picks...SD picks Lane Johnson-LT-they needed to move in front of Arizona, I believe they just signed McKinnie, but Lane Johnson will start and McKinnie gets released. Cleveland loves Milliner but also love Rhodes and Trufant. 7-Arizona-Sherrif Floyd-DE/DT-Floyd actually played DE for Florida, I think he is a natural for a 3-4 DE. 8-Buffalo.... Pick Dee Milliner. Minnesota calls they love Milliner and want to deal both 1s but we have to give up a forth or third in 2014. Tampa calls, Revis deal flops and they are offering 1&2. Or pick another player.
  3. The talent level between the first round guards and the 3rd round or later, is less than the majority of the other positions. Guard is not a huge impact position, I'd rather take the TE from ND, he'll impact the game more. The guards are just safe picks, no more or less.
  4. While I agree he is talented. With all of the holes in this team, drafting a guard just won't be a good start. If we trade down and he or the guard from NC are there, then sure.
  5. I would love to get Geno in buffalo, i just don't see jax nor oakland passing on him...and i wouldn't trade up with so many holes.
  6. I'm with you on Brown, not sure he will be that good, but as a waekside ILB and nickel and dime linebacker be will he solid. But, he needs protection.
  7. Austin, woods and Williams...maybe a linemen, like Jones or Pugh instead.
  8. Sometimes young players need vets to teach them how its done, if a younger player is clearly better then he will play, if not he can watch and learn. Sign Winfield, he could match up against any slot WR and teach the likes of Williams, Gilmore, McKelvin et cetera...won't hurt.
  9. BINGO! he's a pretty close clone to levitre, only taller.
  10. I've always been a Thomas Howard fan since his time at utep. If he's healthy he'd make a good weakside ilb, he is solid in coverage.
  11. Its clear to me who my favorite football player is. He's got a future in entertainment after football.
  12. I'm a fan of Ogletree, in that scenario if he is our guy, trade down, even if the compensation doesn't add up.
  13. help me out, what did bray do to become the number 2 QB in the draft, also cooper is the number one guard...when did this happen?
  14. agreed, Thomas is a late 2nd, early 3rd.
  15. This time last year everyone was assuming that Barkley was the number one overall selection in 2013, I recall some saying he had better numbers in a similar system than luck and some rated him higher than RG3. Right now everyone is high on all the QBs in next years draft. While I'm not high on this class I do feel Barkley and smith are potentially franchise qbs. Classic grass is always greener scenario. Don't intentionally tank because you think there is some golden ticket waiting.
  16. i think when we see buffalo in the 3-4, Mario plays the 5 tech, dareus is on the nose and kyle williams or Carrington plays the DT, Anderson plays ROLB, Bradham plays weak ILB, Shep plays strong and Lawson LOLB. this allows Buffalo to mix it up without subs.
  17. I didn't know he married Natalie from facts of life.
  18. I'm not for the rule change only because its natural for big running backs to lower their heads, its what they are taught. I think its going to be something very difficult to call on the field as well. However, for those who think the game is changing in the wrong direction, understand the game changes every generation. Helmets, the forward pass et cetera...we'll still watch it regardless.
  19. Maybe he would have benefited from this rule change...its about protecting athletes from drain bamage.
  20. My ideal is super simple: Darius Heyward Bey-3 year deal, simple reason, our track record isn't good enough for him to want to come to buffalo for a 1 or 2 year deal. Karlos Dansby- 4 year deal, first 2 guaranteed. See above. These picks are based on cbssports predicted rounds. 1-Geno Smith-a QB that has played both in Miami and in the rust belt...worked last time. Something I have not heard but should be said, Smith's top WRs where smurfs, he didn't have a great OL and yet...better than 70% competition, when they knew he had to throw. Luck had two top olinemen and two TEs who have or will be drafted in the 2nd and a 3rd that would have been had he not gotten hurt. I like Geno. I'm not saying he's better than luck, I am saying he's worth the 8th. 2-Jonathan Banks CB- reason he could fall, 4.61 forty in Indy, he's one of the most physical corners, has long arms and could start opposite Gilmore. 3-Brian Winters, hoping for Justin Pugh. But Winters is not a bad substitute, will likely have to start at LG as a rookie. 4-Stedman Bailey-again, extremely unlikely, Smith's favorite redzone target, yes one of the smurfs, DHB and Stevie on the outside, Bailey and if he survives brad smith working the slots. 5-AJ Klein-ILB a back up to Dansby. 6 -Levine Toilolo-TE- remember what I said about the 3rd TE Luck had, due to injury concerns, this 6'8" 260 pound TE falls. Imagine a healthy Chandler and Toilolo on the field together, 6'7" and 6'8" Defense is a 3-4 M.Williams-Dareus-k.Williams Moats/Anderson(rush)-Nigel (weak)-Dansby-Lawson Corners are...Gilmore, Banks, (McKelvin, Brooks and Rodgers) SS-Aaron Williams FS-Byrd Just a hopeful thought
  21. I know the Dolphins have been the "winner" of free agency in the AFC east so far... But, look at the contracts,if I'm not mistaken after year one they explode. Example, without checking and basing this only on what I've heard, mike Wallace counts for 3 million this year them year two 17! Clearly they hope the cap goes up more next year. Not to mention, they cut their best defensive player not named wake. I don't have to explain the jets, we are aware of all of their losses. The teams that have "won" will be cutting payroll next year, this is great for 2013, but hurts the remaining years. Remember how good the ravens were last year, I expect them to be drafting top ten in 14...the Dolphins might having a winning record next year, but they'll be in a similar situation soon.
  22. Since we are really the one helping them, Flynn with their 6th for ours...or they can release him and get nothing.
  23. I think its Aaron Williams for SS. I don't think its a need position. LB is...if we are going to run a 3-4 I think Harrison and of course regardless of system, Dansby. I don't value the guard position like some do, I think there is talent in the 3rd round to replace levitre. So give me Harrison and Dansby and a WR like DHB, combine cost maybe 12 million. Let me draft Smith, Ertz and Pugh, 3 starters on offense. I'll be very happy with this.
