From what I understand the agents typically pay for them.

Drastically over valued players in this years draft -
frogger replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't disagree more, Stephen Hill is a taller TJ Graham, the comparison to Vincent Jackson are pretty spot on.. Mike Evans will be a star in this league. Anthony Barr is not a 2nd round project...if you question that statement, look at the last few drafts (see Bruce Irvin, ziggy et cetera)..every year players with potential get drafted round one (every player is just potential at this point) and Ebron will be a pro bowler...mark my words. -
YouTube: Miami vs North Carolina...the full game is on there, you'll see he's every bit the blocker we need and you'll see how amazingly fast he is, when he runs away from the Miami defenders. He dictates coverage, yes he has flaws, drops the occasional pass, but he can correct the mistakes. With the NFL middle as soft as it is, we need a guy who can take a 5 in route and make it a 20 yard gain...Ebron can.

We can't do back to back Matthews, we are a team of Williams. 1-Eric Ebron 2-Kareem Martin 3-Canadian OT 4-Andre Williams 5-Brandon Thomas, redshirt him 7-punter

Obviously, Mario Williams, but then who? Hughes is a pass rush specialist, while he plays with a high motor, I fear he won't be able to contain and redirect the run. So...are we drafting one? I have a feeling we are, we can survive with Pears at RT(we don't want to though) we can survive with Johnson, Woods, Williams and Goodwin at WR, even our TEs are not the league's worst...but-we don't have a Wide 9 DE. Options...Kony Ealy, late first round, maybe early 2nd, productive SEC player. He can dip and bend the corner Kareem Martin, a favorite of mine, longest DE in the draft, productivity, 1.5 10 split (very good) better against the run. Dee Ford, I think he's better suited for a 3-4 or a PRS. Late round Webster, has the length, but is a project. Anthony Barr, might be our best option, but at 9? He's insanely athletic, can bend the corner and is strong enough to stack. Please add some other options. Clowney isn't a real option, FYI

We will b!+¢h and moan about at least two picks

Prediction: Bills move up to #4 to take MACK
frogger replied to maddenboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Call me crazy, Mack is potentially a great player, but he does not fit this defense and I think we are pretty set at linebacker. I also think Anthony Barr is a better prospect LB turned DE. Clowney or Watkins...that should be it -
I think he's referring to the Detroit Lions, there's been talk about them finding away to the 2nd pick

I'm not against the idea of getting Matthews, but trading up, I hope not. I'd rather trade back and get Martin.
-
I saw it, the highlight was the Ralph fly over...its not a terrible movie, worth a trip to red box in a few month for those who have not seen it. I was stuck waiting for a wedding in Tampa, no cable in the hotel (crazy I know) that's why I went.

I could see a potential trade involving Hughes, obviously there is a connection with the head coach...1st, 3rd and Hughes for 4.

I saw the bleacher report rankings as well, add in that Nigel was ranked, i believe, top 20 Ilb...and Manny Lawson would "be best as a strong side OLB in a 4-3 set"...they also went so far as to give Lawson a perfect score in coverage (like Alanso). McKelvin is 7th ranked CB, Robey and Graham are ranked ahead of Gilmore...I hope he makes a comeback. I wonder where they rank Kyle Williams, it will be as a 34 DE...i assume top 5

Bridgewater - the luster has come off
frogger replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a weird feeling Carr will be the first QB drafted, unless Houston trades down. -
16-0....no more complaints, I'm happy to not have to stay up late, beyond the Miami game. The packers are a throw first team, so playing them in December when it might be blowing snow is okay. Yes we play Miami at home early, weather should be nice, I'm sure the players are not too upset about playing in 95° heat...remember, no Toronto, can't tell you how happy that makes me. Bye week smack in the middle of the season...perfection! I'm happy. It will be nice to have December game that means something.

Kareem Martin DE 6'6" 272 Longest arms among DEs 35.5 vertical-shows burst 40-4.7...not great but his 1.53 10 split is great 4.33 shuttle (Clowney 4.43) 7.2 cone, (Clowney 7.27) Stats 21.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks...I'd love to trade back into the 2nd to get him, after getting a RT and TE.
-
1-trade down, to 13th getting pick 44 in the exchange, pick Eric Ebron...Scenario, St Louis moved back from 2 to 5, drafting Watkins, at 9 they see a Wolverine tackle they like and trade 13 and 44 to get him...Detroit doesn't need a TE, nor does Tennessee, the Giants jump onto Donald...we get Ebron 2a-Moses, with Kouandjio or James as back up plan, any three will be upgrades over pear in time. 2b-Deone Buccanon-allows Graham to remain at corner and/or create a better big nickel. Buccanon is a thumper with ball hawk abilities. 2c-trade 2014's 3rd, 7th and 2015's 3rd to move up and draft Kareem Martin-good straightline speed, longest arms of the DEs and productive college player. He's ideal for wide 9. 3-take nap...and nap with a smile after seeing the Bills upgrade 4 spots 4-Cyril Richardson-guard/Tackle-he's falling, I can't believe this is the guy Spielman called Larry Allen like, Richardson can push both guards and could start. Worse case he's a back up 5-Kevin Pierre-Louis-olb-smooth athlete, Nickel LB and special teams...depth pick 6-traded 7-traded

Good with the idea, but I'm not a nix fan

You can do it...is a classic sports movie reference.

Woods has the ability to make cuts without losing much speed, its how Jerry Rice always got open, even on go routes, CBs were watching to see if he(Rice) was going to suddenly cut, so when Rice didn't CBs were out of position. Woods however doesn't have Rice's insane ball skills and size. That doesn't mean he can't be great though. Johnson can sell a route better than anyone in the league...if his hands were better he could be in the elite WR class. I like our WRs, Mike Williams is that physical Josh Gordon WR we need. 5 Wide with two speedster, 2 hard to cover WR and one that will out physical CBs...I like this.
