Why would we trade our most consistent defensive player for an underachieving player on an inflated rookie contract?..let him get released or offer a late pick
YouTube Texas a&m vs duke full game, just watch the first quarter, I think you'll see Cockrell is better than a 4th rounder, I absolutely think he will have an impact throughout his rookie reason.
I brought this need up predraft, the wide 9 DE has to be very athletic, not Alan Branch, more Hughes. Kind of more like an olb in a 3-4 front, but a Big, play in space OLB. Anthony Barr, would have been ideal, but ultimately too raw.
So I YouTubed the duke vs a&m game, in the first quarter, cockrell owned Evans...didn't watch much after that, but he looked pretty good against a top 10 WR
If you watch the bowl game against ucf, he's compared to larry Allen, by former Bill and brother to a gm (not sure if he's still with vikings) Chris Speilman.
In the event Stevie reads this I want to tell him he was my favorite Buffalo Bill maybe of all, today is a day of sorrow in the frogger household
I will always cheer for you...I will always consider you a Bill...may you torch Richard Sherman like you did Revis!
I said something like this to a friend last night, would I give up two firsts for a young Fitzgerald?..yes I would. I love the pick! He just made EJ better.
You realize that double teaming him leaves others open...that's why you have a number 2..Stevie Johnson and Mike Williams and woods and...we are full of #2 (that was intentional)
Manny Lawson needs to remain on this team, he is great in coverage and good against the run, he is a top tier Sam linebacker...do not suggest trading him!
Jerry Hughes maybe
I should have said I wasn't a fan of drafting Ha Ha...in fact, Joyner, despite is lack of height, will end up being the best FS from this draft, if he lasts till the third, I'd have no issue drafting him.
I thought for sure someone would say something..
Ask yourself would you feel better with Searcy/Duke Williams at FS or Chandler at TE or Hughes at DE or Pears at RT...which sounds the worse?
I could see a scenario where Buffalo trades down, getting a 2nd or 3rd and drafting Ha Ha...then addressing the other needs (TE, RT, RE and depth in other rounds)
Safety has the least amount of depth in this draft.
Its not a lack of Football experience, its after his freshman year he moved from RB (yes a 6'5" RB) to OLB...what's amazing is he has played the position for only 2 years.
2nd best speed? I've not seen a 40 time
