I haven't been alive that long, so as I said I don't remember it. And the Chinese didn't attack US. We decided to fight them in other peoples' country. Which is a pretty cowardly thing to do when you think about it. On the other hand, since we lost, I guess it's better we lost over there than over here.

hmmm well, I wasn't alive during Prohibition but it seems to me that there was a mob war going on then over the bootleg liquor market. Of course in those days they just shot each other. When Prohibition ended...it set the mob back a bit, they had to go back to the basics until they realized in the 1960's/1970's how lucrative illegal drugs could be. If the market in America dried up...would we see those drug cartel wars? Doubtful.

I certainly can understand why you think I am so all-powerful but I assure you I don't even know who those people are. I got a nice fat bonus myself in December. Not only did I keep it but I spent most of it. Ditto the bonuses I got in February and March.
