I'm expecting that too. I only use the card for web purchases and to get the cashback award, which I then donate to JDRF. Otherwise I'd just pay cash. I found a new credit-card practice to make $$ that I posted on the consumer forum. My company, after 10-15 years of having my payment due on the 23rd of the month, quietly changed the date to the 19th. No mention of "please note your new due date" etc. Too bad for them I read my statements and they didn't get to charge finance charge and late fees on my balance. I am sure that other people who use their credit cards a lot but pay the monthly balance entirely are going to have this happen to them too - because the credit companies want people who carry balances so they can soak them.

I've been following on Twitter but ya gotta be fast because the links that are being sent are usually pulled almost immediately. Looks like the bad guys Twitter too. I think what it will boil down to is whether the Ayotollah thinks the military and police can keep these people under their heels forever..particularly now that Israel's opening discussing a little "target practice" on Iranian nuclear sites (and maybe more?). The Ayotollah may decide to cut his losses and switch sides. He isn't going to want to go down with the ship. If he does rethink his position, the guy with the unpronounceable name is gone.

I have never watched Letterman, just looking at him gives me the creeps. I think his attack on a 14-year old girl who's thrust into the limelight through no fault of hers is WAY out of line. I thought so when Rush Limbaugh did it to Chelsea Clinton and I think so now. And even if my disdain for the mother extended to this kid, which it does not, I don't think the line was funny anyway.
