  1. I think that's exactly the reason.
  2. I'm not defending TD because we won't know what we have on the field until the fall, concerning our 2nd and 3rd round pick. Still, I defer to people who are capable of mistakes yet still actually know WTF they are talking about most of the time. Opinions of posters are based mostly on Draft guides and little to no actual knowledge. Not impressed whatsoever. I was surprised as anyone with the Parrish pick. Wasn't high on OT Adam Terry of Syracuse at all, since film showed he was very slow and mechanical, according to several scouts. DT Attaj Hawthorne got busted for weed and his work ethic was reportedly poor. Baas,Spencer and most other attractive options on the OL were long gone. As of now, Teague moves to LT and the high IQ Tucker remains at Center, where he played well when filling in for Teague. Losman is mobile and tends to roll to his right, so the blindside pressure won't be as much a concern as it would with Bledsoe. Teague is fair at best in both the run and pass but Willis tends to run sweeps to the right behind Mike Williams and the TE, so I'm not in any panic whatsoever. The Everett pick tells me Euhus is behind in his rehab and some concern is justified. I saw an interview with Campbell, who is ahead in his recovery and will be ready for camp. I had a feeling the Bills wouldn't draft a DT early when TD and Modrak both stated the DT position was basically a 3 man rotation, with Anderson replacing Williams. Not taking a CB early may have been a small surprise but maybe that can be spun into a positive. Nate may get a legit contract offer from TD and stay. Unfortunately, it may be at the expense of Moulds. His cap number in 2006 is 9-10 Mil and he'll be 34. Parrish wasn't just picked to replace Josh Reed. Still some talent to be selected today.
  3. Let's get Bledsoe back. He'll solve everything with his "sacks for humanity" program.
  4. I'm with you. I hate TD, The entire Bills org. and Mothers Day. I have now validated myself as a TSW GOD, like you.
  5. Can we actually do that ? Come to the line of scrimmage without a Center or LT ?
  6. What's the difference ? All the picks suck, according to our " Experts " .
  7. I root for the team and no one player is above that. He's been paid a boatload of $$ since he arrived here and TD gave him his latest big contract. I like the guy also but he's not worth the huge $$ after this season. Only an idiot like Dan Snyder would pay a 34 year old WR with declining skills big $$.
  8. Moulds has a 2006 cap figure around 9-10 Mil. He'll be 34. OMG. Look who I'm trying to talk common sense to.
  9. Was watching the Draft with Lancaster Steve, who said the above comment seconds after the Bills picked Parrish. He may be onto something. Agreed ?
  10. Harv - The only other Kicker I've read several positive reviews on is Tyler Jones of Boise St. - Strong leg. Deep kickoffs that reach the end zone. Can kick the 50 + yard FG. Consistent and straight. 22-25 last season. Was kicking in the high altitude but impressed off the pro tee in workouts.
  11. That's fair. My thread yesterday was a result of watching CB's getting outrageous contracts and realizing Clements is as good as gone after 2005. So we'd get a 3rd round Comp pick for him in 2007. Yippie. This draft is deep at CB, so that idea isn't drug induced, as some MENSA members suggested.
  12. #2,#3 and #4.
  13. It could be. Yet most games last season, the Bills basically went with a 3 man rotation of Adams, Williams and Edwards. That explains why Tim Anderson wasn't activated for many games. Bannon and Sape barely played. In his pre-draft luncheon, TD stated Anderson will take over Williams position, which may indicate the need of another DT is not so dire, in his eyes. He invested a 3rd round pick in the guy just last season and wants to see him play. I realize it could all be smoke and mirrors. CB, with the Clements situation, is obvious. That's the deepest position in this draft. A run on them in the 1st or 2nd round could force the Bills hand. If the right OT or C falls to their slot, then that may be the pick.
  14. Impossible. He was talking about the other 10 Offensive players who made DB look bad.
  15. Do you get 10 % as his agent ?
  16. OMG. I'm on DRUGS !
  17. Lenny knows a good buffet when he devours one.
  18. He'll pay if he thinks they're worth it. Ask Moulds, Spikes, Fletcher etc.
  19. Don't forget the hiring of Mularkey. He should have closed the deal with either Dennis Green or George Seifert at the airport.
  20. If Clements plays this year and walks, so be it. In the Cap age, you have a core of 8-12 guys, at most, you sign long term . Is Nate one of those guys ? More importantly, does TD see him that way ? He gave the big $$ to Moulds a few years back. He made a big investment in Spikes, Fletcher, Mike Williams and others. Losman,Evans and MaGahee got fairly good rookie contracts. Is Nate worth 7 years, 45-50 Mil and a huge bonus ? That's what TD and co. must decide.
  21. Jonas Jennings agent told TD last summer that he wanted an 8 figure signing bonus after 2004. Jennings played out the year and got a 12 Mil bonus in a 36 Mil contract from San Fran. We received nothing. Maybe TD already heard the same request from Nates' agent. Surtains contract today ( 50 Mil + ) didn't help.
  22. Did TD see those figures today and think " That's too much for us " and make some calls ? Henry will attract a 2nd or 3rd rounder, regardless of our yelling. Tomorrow may be the last chance to get anything for Clements before he walks after 2005. Forget that franchise and trade idea. That was a one time gift ( Peerless Price) with a known partner ( Atlanta). Too big a gamble. I'm tired of watching players asking for the moon and walk.. only receiving a mid round comp pick, at best, the following year. BFD. This draft has one position loaded with talent..CB. Let's see what happens.
  23. OT Adam Terry, not Terry Adams.
  24. 60 minutes of Kiper and idiot ex-players. Hopefully they'll concentrate on showing film, rather than the moronic opinions of Merril Hodge or Mark Schlereth.
