  1. Tyler Jones - K - Boise St. - legit competition for Lindell. Cannon leg and very accurate from 50 + yards on FG. 22-25 last year. Kickoffs go 70 + yards.
  2. " Doesn't matter that they were late 2nd,3rd round picks , Tom . I want a 10 million dollar signing bonus for each of my clients . "
  3. Probably because he had to endure picking from the worst Draft day talent pool in 30 years. Nothing like seeing 2nd-3rd round talent being paid 1st round $$ .
  4. Teague was the fallback plan all along. Shelton was not an upgrade and no decent LT was there from Round 2 on. The 2006 supposedly is deep in tackles, especially LT. The Bills live with Teague for now.
  5. 6-3 1/2 322 lbs. Actually, Ourlads says he has good initial quickness. Needs to work on his footwork more. A true roadgrader Guard who will drive a DE off the ball. Mega strong. Team Captain the last 2 years. Good hands with a strong initial punch.

  7. 3 guys I'd never want. Just keep him and see which team suffers a loss in training camp and has an immediate need for a RB. Patience.

  9. I agree. I've been buying Draft guides for 24 years and after reading Ourlads prior to this weekend, I was convinced this was the weakest overall bunch I've ever seen. Many of those players who went in Round 1 were 2nd or 3rd round picks in other drafts. I'm sure glad we traded for Losman last year. I'll keep an open mind on the Bills picks until I see them play on Sunday.
  10. I think you are correct.
  11. Could be. Also, Sam Aiken does zero for me.
  12. Ron Pennsylvannia is coming ! Now I must be there.
  13. I predict the usual suspects will cut/paste " Bad pick " 3 seconds after the selection.
  14. OMG. DId you see the Rams WR T. Holt trying to fit in yesterday ? What a disaster !
  15. We're just Kool-Aid drinkers, Rich...so I've been told.
  16. He is definitely under the gun and he knows it. The 2005 season must play out and who knows how Ralph views him ? He isn't purposely tanking this draft, if that's what's being suggested.
  17. It was humor for the press, based on the fact that they had so long to wait for a pick.
  18. Point taken but Williams never had half the speed Parrish has. The size is a concern and time will only tell.
  19. Actually, that's a fair perspective. I'm sure the Bills watched many players they hoped would fall to #55 get picked early and Parrish was the best athlete available at that spot.
  20. I'm not defending the picks whatsoever. Yet I'm willing to wait until opening day to see what we actually have before passing judgement. If the picks disappoint some, they have the right to express that belief. I will wait until the entire off-season is completed and start looking at the depth charts once camp begins and view their actual ability as the pre-season progresses. Making definitive statement, pro or con, at this time of year is a reach of epic proportions.
  21. Duck. I mentioned this very thought yesterday and was laughed off the board. Get back in formation and listen to the super scouts that dominate this place.
  22. The 2006 Draft is supposedly much stronger at OT, especially LT. This draft couldn't have been any weaker at LT. I have zero actual knowledge of Shelton and can only go from what scouting reports I've read, not posters opinions. The actual conversations and ratings of Shelton are known only to OBD and other teams front offices. He carries a 3 Mil salary which does sound like a bargain. But what about actual talent ? Plus he may be cut anyhow, much like Kenyatta Walker in Tampa. Could sign him on the cheap. I'm willing to sit and wait. The Henry saga is far from over.
