  1. Truthful ? It's APRIL ! Everything is subjective opinion. That's what the pessimist forgets. 9-7 in 2004 is truthful. Most don't see the wisdom in predicting 3-6 less wins than last season, based on our level of talent and Coaching. I don't mind critical commentary at all. But that reasoning shut out any positives whatsoever. A neutral observer would think the Bills were coming off a 2-14 season, void of any talent after reading his view. No balance whatsoever .
  2. The Bills suck beyond belief. I hope the citizens of Erie County come to their senses, grab their pitchforks and run these guys out of town.

  4. 26-38 3-13 1-15 No Monday Night Games, meaning the NFL hates us. A Mayflower moving van spotted within a 1/4 mile of the Ralph A first year QB on the verge of paralysis No 1st round draft pick for Henry No All-Pro's drafted in Rounds 5-7 Not signing 12 Vet Free Agents to "Market Value" contracts A GM who is the living definition of Satan Rosenhaus will become eveyones agent and hold out the entire team Our Draft was graded an F. Everyone else in our division... A+ Too many people at TSW drinking Kool-Aid How can you ignore these " facts " ? Get with the program !
  5. Why does reading Football internet sites make me think I'm smarter than every GM in the NFL ?
  6. Where did you read that ? I'd take that in a second. The 2006 Draft is twice as strong as the one just completed.
  7. TD will announce them with " Bad To the Bone " blarring in the background.
  8. Did you ask : 1. Why he can't draft HOF's on day 2 of the draft ? 2. Why he didn't get a 1st Rounder for Henry ? 3. Why his entire draft sucked for the 4th straight year. 3. Why He, himself, has failed to make the playoffs ? Then chant " 26-38 " in place of intelligent discourse while he gave you an answer ?
  9. I'm not sure about him anymore. I realize he put up some good numbers as a rookie and then had some injury issues. Once he returned, he was too slow to hit any holes and frustrated the Bears coaches to no end. I sure liked the guy at Michigan but sometimes these between the tackle types are just shot at an early age from taking too much punishment. I trust the Bills judgement but I guess he and Garrison Hearst are the only options left at this juncture.
  10. It's still 4 1/2 months until the opener. I realize we have zero patience as a group but I believe he won't be on our team by then. Much ado about nothing.
  11. What ? Enthusiasm and sharp insight at TSW ? Do me a favor. Post more often.
  12. What else was talked about at the meeting ? TD, Mularkey say anything interesting ? Or were you too busy talking to Don Julio ?
  13. I just don't understand your rant whatsover ? Draft picks, Free Agency, Undrafted free agents. Every team has a different method of aquiring the best 53 players. After draft weekend, I'm hoping we found 2-4 guys that can help our club in the long term. I'm not looking for help from 8-10 guys, including Undrafted free agents. That's an indication you're a bad football team with lots of holes to fill. Last I checked, this team finished 9-7. I don't see a desperate need at any starting position, at present. Teague in for Jennings at LT, Losman in for Bledsoe at QB and Anderson in for Williams in the DT rotation. Depth is on par with most good teams. The difference between good teams and great teams is Coaching in all 3 phases... Offense,Defense and Special Teams. The weakest link is Offense, so the Bills shuffled the OL, replaced the ineffective Bledsoe with the unknown but far more athletic Losman and upgraded the skill positions with a couple fast kids from Miami U. We'll know if it works come fall. Blasting the moves now is pointless. Right now, we're just like every other NFL team, a complete unknown until the pads are put on in August. Stewing about Day 2 draft picks just seems like a veiled " I hate TD " position that fails misreably. I'm no apologist of the guy who's made some obvious blunders ( Gregg Williams, Bledsoe ) but if that's what you wish to state, quit using a weak argument to mask your true thoughts and just say it. You're not pleased with the failure of this team to make the playoffs since he arrived. That I can understand.
  14. Keep an open mind and lets see what we have on the field before tossing out the baby with the bathwater ( With Crap in the tub ? What's up with that ? ) .
  15. Can someone explain the whole Aiken thing to me ? I remember him catching 1 flea flicker last year for about 63 yards. Outside of that, he's done absolutely nothing the last couple of years. When people say they like him, I always chuckle.
  16. Crowell backs up Spikes on the weakside. The guy he would have to beat out is Mario Haggen, backing up Fletcher.
  17. Tops was a place of enployment for me in the '70's and '80's. Buftex and I had a lot of laughs working together there.
  18. You're a good man BTW- I heard the AKC Draft party went well. Have you recovered yet ?
  19. Punch makes too many different lines of cigars ( many cheap ones ) , so you have to make sure you get the right kind. Punch Punch ( not a mispelling ) is probably their best.
  20. Welcome to my world. I've been enjoying them for 25 years. Have a couple hundred in the humidor. Being that you're just starting out, don't start smoking strong cigars unless you wish to make yourself ill. Cigars come in Mild, Medium and Full strength. The best place to order cigars from is JRcigars. They have the lowest prices and the best customer service. Famous-smoke is another good retailer. Most all the rest are major ripoffs and sell garbage, including Thompsons. I tend to smoke Coronas, which last 30-40 minutes. Go to your local cigar store and buy 3-4 singles to try them out. Once you find a brand you like, a good box of cigars (25 count) runs anywhere from $50-100. Get a humidor box if you wish to keep some cigars around the house. Some suggestions for starting out : Mild- Don Diego H. Upmann Montecristo Montesino Macanudo Medium - Auturo Fuente Cuesta Rey Partagas Romeo Y Julieta Full - CAO Henry Clay La Gloria Cubana Punch Punch Most cigars have Connecticut shade wrappers but give some maduro wrapped cigars a try. The Montesino Diplomatico maduro is especially good. Good luck . Enjoyed a Partagas corona yesterday. Mmmmm....
  21. I agree, Bill. I watch every Buckeye game and Anderson completely stuffed the middle of the line. Very powerful player who doesn't get pushed around. Barring injury, I'm not worried about the DT position.
  22. So Anderson is already a failure, since we haven't seen him much in his Rookie year ? I knew the Bills wouldn't draft a DT once TD and Modrak spoke at the pre-draft luncheon. A 3 man rotation of Adams,Williams and Edwards was primarily used in 2004. On 3rd and long, both Williams and Adams would be standing on the sidelines. Edwards would be the only DT out there. TD stated we have to see what Anderson has and he takes Williams spot. He stated confidence in his abilities and the lack of a pick on draft day showed that. Fans are a fickle bunch. They scream about the lack of production from draft picks. Yet when you try to give some a chance to play, they yell about their obvious lack of experience and scream for another teams castoffs.
  23. My worry is that he may play down to the level of Drew.
