  1. W. Main St and Broad.
  2. There is always a glut of Bills news on Mothers day.
  3. - Dolfelons are a little thin at CB - What a shame
  4. Defintely Calgary. He had his best years there. The CFL Hall of Fame is in Hamilton, ON. I could send him an entertainment coupon if he wishes to visit the NFL HOF in Canton. The only way he'll see a likeness of himself there is to look in the mirror in the mens room.
  5. Tell them your name is Berkshire Hathaway and you reside in Omaha. You'll be paying $300 a year....tops.
  6. Orlando Pace is not a good example to use. He played terrible against the Bills and in several other games . His best play was 2-3 years ago. He's not worth the $$ at all. Walter Jones is proably the only Tackle worth the big $$. Others such as John Tate or even Jennings are stealing $$ from their teams. I understand the LT being the blindside protector of QB's but in this athletic day and age, you better have some mobility because most teams line up 260 lb. guys who can run like a LB ( Freeney ) and just motor around the LT. Williams was the 4th pick in the draft and was slotted to be overpaid. I don't argue his salary but the point of this thread title is silly. Brady was a 6th round pick who EVERY team passed on. Therefore, every team has several overpaid players in comparison to Brady. Why doesn't the author of the thread just state he questions most everything TD does, instead of using this lame argument ? Oh wait, that's right. Then it would be campaigning.
  7. Revisionist history. It's never wrong . No top 10 pick is worth the $$ . The NFL teams are forced to overpay for unproven talent. The same time Brady was being selected in the 6th round, Bob Kraft was giving Drew Bledsoe a $102 Million contract. I'm not down on TD for overpaying Mike Williams. I'm upset because he bought into the Bledsoe fraud the the Pats were trying to unload... Then paid him outrageous $$ for 3 years. When he had a chance to unload him after 2004 without a cap hit, he extended him and paid him close to 9 Mil in 2004.... Mike Williams had a far better year than Bledsoe in 2004, who's dead cap hit is 4.3 Mil. We could have used that $$ for a top UFA or towards resigning Nate. Mike Williams has his best football in front of him ( not behind him ).
  8. Actually, it's 1918. He has 4 lifetime races with 3 wins. His Illinois Derby win was so impressive and hunch bets have always been my biggest winners. Rarely ever bet chalks. I haven't bet a horse in many months but I'll indulge today. I'll be driving the extra 10 minutes to Buffalo Raceway this morning to make my bet. They pay track odds and I avoid the massive OTB takeout,if my miracle bet comes in ( betting to win and place ) . Greeleys Galaxys' current odds are 25-1. I'd much rather lose betting a longshot ( and I probably will ) Good luck to all .
  9. Mini Max Anderson. He's probably about 60 and every bit as good as your listed choices. Sign him TD ! 15 Mil - 3 years !
  10. Terrible, so I'm told. Donahoe ruined the team and didn't sign every washed up UFA to multi-million $$ contracts. Bledsoe leaving will supposedly cost us 6 wins. Coaching apparently means nothing, since all games can be predicted on Madden 2005. I'm still keeping my season tickets, just in case the doom crowd is sniffing glue. I'm crazy that way.
  11. Rubes, that bastard. He has a tendency to get under ones skin ( inside pun ).
  12. Rent, then decide. I enjoyed that film . Thought it was very well done.
  13. Which means there's a good chance Blair may not finsih his term, with only a slight advantage in Parliment, correct ? That was quite a hit that the Labour party took yesterday.
  14. I'm still jealous of the folks who attended his draft day party. Heard it was a blast.
  15. Being the nostalgic sort, I for one would like to see some more columns from Rockpile and Bob Lamb. Those terrific, informative summaries of Bills days gone by is what made this place great, back in the day...
  16. I hope Ezekial met Krumrie at the recent mini-camp. He's a psycho wanna-be, next to our DL coach.
  17. Agree that Edwards hasn't filled that profile at all. Anderson is unproven at this level but DID fill that role at Ohio St. against top competition. I saw all his games as a loyal Buckeye fan and his ability to stuff the middle and get penetration was unquestioned. Thick build and mega strong. Excellent tackler, the heart and soul of that Defense. I'm sure his technique needed tweeking by Krumrie, since many DT's with strength tend to depend on the bull rush a little too often at the college level. Never takes a play off. I believe the Bills Coaches envision a middle of Sam Adams and Anderson. Edwards on passing downs.
  18. 1.What has Traylor done lately ? I'm asking. 2. If he's good, why is he being cut ? 3. How is it every other teams cuts are better than our starters and backups ? Was our record 1-15 last year ?
  19. They just spent 15 minutes talking to Steven Smith about Kobe and the Lakers. I want those 15 minutes of my life back. I'm calling an attorney.
  20. So the Sabres are in the final 4 in the Wet Dream League. The NHL doesn't exist.
  21. It's a forgery. TD only signs in chicken blood.
  22. I have a moronic neighbor who repeats the same line to make small conversation. " Iraq is just like Vietnam " Yesterday, I responded " I remember when our troops invaded North Vietnam and captured Ho Chi Mihn and put him on trial for war crimes, and then turned sovereignty over to the Vietnamese in less than a year. You're right, the parallels are striking. " His response " yeah...did you see LOST last night ? " My question is, should I use a Louisville slugger or my old Shore Patrol riot club for the appropriate beatdown ?
