  1. Understood. Then again, I'm not into tattoo's at all.
  2. I would think it would be Miami, since the fins usually wear white at home.
  3. I completely agree. Ever since they started screwing with the helmet, starting back in 1974, it's always gotten worse. The current red helmet is a total mess. Looks like a wounded wildebeest with a piece of tree bark stuck to it's horn. OOOOOOOOOOh ! Fear the sick wildebeest !
  4. This may be it for Moulds. His cap hit is something like 9-10 Mil next year. We'll see if something can be worked out. Concentrate on Clements. The maybe catagory is Teague, Thomas and Edwards. Depends on their contribution and the emergence of others.
  5. We don't have to wait 2 years for this thread title to suck. It's an instant classic. Welcome to the cap age where GM's have to work OT to maintain a good roster with such high turnover. I give Coaching a lot more credit than player ratings on a Madden game. Who's to say we won't have credible replacements ? Would you say the same thing if Belichick was our Coach ? Do some here actively seek out ulcers and imaginary doom ?
  6. I don't like our current home uni's, which look to be Denver Broncos leftovers or that repulsive road dreck. The current helmet is way too busy and only needs some blinking lights on it to be a complete mess. The throwback is refreshing but everyone has their favorites. Winning will make any uniform look good.
  7. Immediately after the jersey is unveiled at 2:30 pm today. Dicks sporting goods will have them also.
  8. On CNN this morning, they were asking him about his blunt statements, which seem to be hurting the party. He starts whipping out these Harry Truman quotes, explaining how Truman talked direct and the people responded. "Plain Speaking" Howard Dean. That's a recipe for......
  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2075672 The whole " Piece Of Property " angle. This isn't about his son at all. It's all about his old issues with the NFL from his playing days. Unfortunately, he doesn't see using his son as a pawn to be a big deal.
  10. You could hop the fence in back of the CPG and go into Slomba's, instead of walking around the block. I remember those brown plastic 20 oz tumblers they'd serve drafts of Strohs in . 45 cent "Bionics" . Ring a bell with anyone ? My poor liver.
  11. I'm up early today and watching ESPN news. Kellen Sr. is being interviewed by several media members and blaming them for giving his kid a bad name. Snapping at every question concerning his son in a very aggressive manner. " Don't read the newspaper, don't watch T.V " is the advice he's giving his son. Sr. was so bitter during contract negotiations with the Browns last season, even though he just should have said nothing and let the Poston Brothers handle the negotiations. Played the race card more than a few times, which made little sense considering his son was going to receive a huge contract due to his draft position. Young Winslow did take a beating in the press over the last couple of weeks but I can't help but think his fathers will/bitterness has been pounded into his brain for the last 20 years. Unless this kid distances himself from his father, I see nothing positive coming out of his career, if it's not already too late. Reminds me a little of the old Jimmy Piersall story. A good baseball player who's father literally drove him insane.
  12. Maybe so but a 1 year deal with a bad team indicates he was hardly the hot commodity many thought he was. There might be some truth to the opinions that he's not really that good at all or still has injury/health issues. He visited several teams who also needed tackle help and they passed on offering him a contract. Let's see what Ross Verba costs instead. Actual talent over imagined.
  13. Back in the day...Park Meadow, Brick Bar, Old Pink, No Name, Jimmy Macs, Coles, Continental,CPG, Circus Bar
  14. Yup. Remeber that well. Just think, it qualified the Bills for the #1 pick in the 1972 draft, which gave us the privilege of selecting Walt Patulski.
  15. 1. Obviously, I'm a Village Idiot. I love WNY and the quality of life. For what I like to do, it offers more to me than any other area I can think of and I've traveled through most of the Continental 48. The Bills are here, the fishing is outstanding, have hundreds of great friends... The weather doesn't bother me at all. Fantastic place to raise kids. Great Schools. I could list positives for hours. 2. Computer Field/Technology 3. Nope - It's about good people and family. I could care less about how much $$ I make. I can live like a king here on a very average income. My escrow gets hit for $2600 total a year. That covers all my property taxes, school taxes and Homeowners Ins. ( Tonawanda) I have a nice big house with a good size yard. I can get everywhere in 20 minutes, including the Ralph. Friendly neighbors. Safe area with low to no crime. 4. It will take a few years but yes. The Polticians have been exposed in the last year and are dropping like flies. It's a start.
  16. That was my 2nd game ever. The first was 2 weeks before, when we lost 48-6 to the Raiders. I couldn't believe we won that day. Namath threw 4 INT's, 3 were returned for TD's. Incredible.
  17. On electric toasters, why do they engrave the message "one slice"? How many pieces of bread do they think people are really gonna try to stuff in that slot?
  18. The 1968 ( 1-12-1 ) and 1971 (1-13 ) were the worst teams. The '68 team was on the decline and then suffered injuries to multiple starters, including Jack Kemp. The 1971 team could have been beaten by USC, Notre Dame and Ohio St. They were just dreadful. The '84 and '85 teams were pretty bad, agreed.
  19. Yeah, now Jack Nicholson has a new beginner list to work with.
  20. Outstanding !
  21. They pulled his name off of BB.com about 2 weeks ago. I thought it already happened.
  22. Let's break out the booze and welcome them to town !
