  1. I stand corrected. Seattle was an absolute POWERHOUSE and lost 38-9. The WR's must have dropped 12 passes that day . The Cards, Browns and Rams are known road warriors. Check their record. SanFran won 2 games. The Fins won 4. Why didn't they beat us ? They were " hot " . Cinci had Carson Palmer out and the 2nd stringer looked like Losman against the Bucs. Heck, lets check their combined records on the year. How many of them won 9 games, like we did ? They sure played their best football against us.
  2. Point taken but we don't have the rare soft schedule that comes along once every 30 years, like we did in 2004. We caught a lot of down teams playing their worst football of the year during that 6 game winning streak. That was then. This is now. Circle the wagons.
  3. Thank God that poll wasn't too slanted towards ones opinion. Personally, I'd rather be...a Lumberjack !
  4. Yup, this thread is all about your politics.
  5. Couldn't agree more. He still needs help from the people wearing the headsets.
  6. The Defense is dead last in the NFL in rushing yardage allowed. Draft another TE, TD.
  7. Exactly. Obviously, you and Stella have met.
  8. IF ?? The pass protection has been stellar. Get the immobile Holcomb in there. Problem solved. ( sarcasm )
  9. Point taken. During the pre-season, Losman was able to hit the quick slants. Houston saw this and almost picked a couple off during our opener, reading that play with ease. ( as VA stated above ) It doesn't help that he's staring down his receivers, which most young QB's do. Since then, that play hasn't worked and the coaching calls haven't adjusted to that at all. Why isn't the short pass to the TE being considered ? Sitting in the stands, I've lost count how many times I've seen Campbell wide open a few yards past the line of scrimmage in the Houston and Atlanta games. It's not a hard pass to complete.
  10. So it wasn't you, I'm assuming.
  11. Correct. So throw the ball 20-30 yards downfield to a receiver who isn't open. That will work. Ignore the TE who is wide open 6-10 yards downfield. That doesn't look good on Sportscenter.
  12. I'm well aware of the shortcomings of our OL concerning pass blocking. Yet they do open holes for the running game. So if your RB shows he can get 100 + yards if you give him the rock enough, should the Coaches keep asking the young, inexperienced QB to throw passes downfield, which have little chance of being completed ? How many offensive plays are we literally wasting each game ? 10 ? 15 ? The playcalling is very unrealistic after 3 games. You play to the strength of your roster, not play Madden 2006 with players who don't have the ability to beat certain defensive packages. Right now, we have a first year QB who is fighting himself. He's not throwing the ball at all. He's trying to aim it/guide it to his receivers and not coming close on many plays. Many times, he has little time to throw. Run the ball. What is so galling to Mularkey/Clements that they can't accept this ? Quit trying to squeeze the square peg into the round hole and let your young QB take some baby steps before asking too much of him. Run the ball and rediscover the TE for short passes. Go downfield a couple times a game. Let the confidence of the kid grow slowly. Right now, he plays as if HE needs to do it all. He doesn't and that reflects squarely on the coaching staff.
  13. The OL does one thing pretty good. Run block. Willis didn't get 140 + yards by himself last week. Here's a thought. Run the ball.
  14. It wasn't a neutral site game.
  15. True.. but if the Coaching staff continues to call a bad game, it really doesn't matter. They have to be realistic concerning the roster and play to their strengths. The first 3 games show us running the ball often is a GOOD idea, with the pass protection being poor. Losman shouldn't be attempting more than 18-20 passes a game.
  16. drugs and 8th graders.
  17. Transistors were throwing sparks from Lights' leg. Shhhh.. Belichick couldn't risk that breach in security !
  18. Harsh words & violent blows Hidden secrets nobody knows Eyes are open, hands are fisted Deep inside I'm warped & twisted So many tricks & so many lies Too many whens & too many whys Nobody's special, nobody's gifted I'm just me, warped & twisted Sleeping awake & choking on a dream Listening loudly to a silent scream Call my mind, the number's unlisted Lost in someone so warped & twisted On my knees, alive but dead Look at the invisible blood I've bled I'm not gone, my mind has drifted Don't expect much, I'm warped & twisted Burnt out, wasted, empty, & hollow Today's just yesterday's tomorrow The sun died out, the ashes sifted I'm still here, warped & twisted Now to throw Losman under the bus...
  19. I hoped for 8-9 wins and I still think it's possible. I don't ride the fragile emotional roller coaster that some enjoy. The Bills didn't win their first game until the 2nd week of October last year and we read the same " I quit " posts for 4 weeks. Sometimes, adversity has a positive effect on a team. They may adopt an " us vs. them " mentality and start playing well above their expectations. I'm over the last game and looking forward to Sunday to see how the Bills respond. Tons of fans and media members are already tanking on them. Time to circle the wagons. I'm not about to quit after 3 games and I doubt even the biggest whiners are. They just like the attention they garner from crying. It probably works for them in real life, so they believe it will work here. And some wonder why the community crushes these type of posters...
  20. Principles ? WingNut is chasing the almighty $$ in Florida and having frogs legs for dinner. Capitalistic pig. He fits in great here. Welcome friend.
  21. So the White Lightning in a brown lunchbag goes good with the jerky ?
  22. The Bills are now finding out they have issues at positions they believed were solid during the off-season. Meanwhile, TD and the fan base concentrated on everyones whipping boy, Rian Lindell. He finished on a down note last year and I read he didn't have a good camp. Then came shanks in the pre-season. I saw TD staring him down during a closed practice before the Lions pre-season game. Lindell was the ONLY player holding this team back. Losman was going to be OK and our great defense would allow few points and keep us winning low scoring games. So Lindell stood in a blazing spotlight as the one guy who could screw this whole thing up. TD made a mindless move of replacing the deep snapper. Big deal. Fast forward to Sept. 26th. 1. ACK ! J.P. is rattled and is struggling ! 2. EEK ! The OL is weak up the middle ! 3. ARGH ! Do we have ANY DT's who can play ? 4. No ! That playcalling stinks on both sides of the ball ! Friggin Lindell ! If he hasn't blinded TD with his shanks, TD would have noticed 1. He needed to draft/sign some quality O Lineman 2. He would have noticed he needed to replace an aging Pat Williams with someone other than a career backup who can't anchor. He found out late that DT Corey Simon was available. " Who ? " 3. The Coaching staff hates running the ball and is trying plays that have no chance with our current personnel. Plus the D gambles most every play and then gets burned. Thanks Mr. 9 for 9. You screwed up this whole season and blinded TD and the fanbase. ( where is that middle finger smiley..grrr ). I hate you ! Don't you dare miss one FG the rest of your career !
  23. Heidi preempted our local telecast. The good news is the grandfather rescued Heidi from her cruel aunt.
