In case you want to drop espn a note
Mark VI replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dear ESPN : I was inspired by last nights broadcast of the Tedy Bruschi story. Could you provide a direct contact # of his representation. I wish to talk to his people about making a short film together. Regards, Paris Hilton -

April 13th, 2005 - I got HAMMERED for posting this
Mark VI replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a sad post. Self loathing finds another friend. "I predicted something negative. Give me my deserving props." -
Let's see DB light it up in the post season. Bet your house against my house on it.

From todays Buff News.. Defensive tackle Sam Adams played an unfamiliar position Sunday night - bench warmer. One snap on a goal-line series was his only action in the second half as the Bills relied on a rotation of Tim Anderson, Justin Bannan and Lauvale Sape. "It was just a decision we made to go with the younger guys," Mularkey said. Adams said he was benched. "They took me out of the game because they said I wasn't making any plays," he said. "They put the guys in there who they thought could make the plays to help us win the game." Adams was composed when discussing his benching. But he clearly wasn't pleased. With the free agent departure of Pat Williams and the season-ending injury to Ron Edwards, Adams is the Bills' only proven defensive tackle. "Obviously I haven't proven anything to (the coaches)," said Adams, a three-time Pro Bowler. "It looks like they are moving in a different direction, so I just have to do my best to support my teammates." Adams suffered a similar benching in a game early last season, and responded with a strong finish en route to a Pro Bowl selection. He still has a year left on his contract, but he's getting the feeling that his time in Buffalo is growing short. "I'll do whatever my role is here for the time that I'm here," Adams said. "Obviously, I'm not in the future plans." No problem. We have so much quality depth at that position. OMG. We may need AT LEAST 3 new faces at DT, to go with 3-4 new faces on the OL. So TD will draft a TE/Deep Snapper in the first round, I'm guessing...

Remember last season when we caught 6 teams playing bad football and pulled out wins ? Then laid a huge egg against the Steelers playing backups ? Now we are one of those bad teams everyone circles on the schedule, especially when we wear our road jerseys.

GM and Coaching Complete This Losing Formula
Mark VI replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It almost seems impossible, after reading of his extension. That's why I wonder if he can actually EVER open his eyes and aquire decent talent for the OL and DL this coming off-season. -

Eventually, he'll realize he's preaching to a deaf choir. -
Please. Direct your angst in the right direction.

I'd be scared too if I saw a pile of empty PBR cans and you screaming " Death ",while waving around some beakers full of red liquid. Your co-workers ARE showing proper caution. -
GM and Coaching Complete This Losing Formula

They need 2 DT's for the rotation. Little question. -
According to ESPN, he had 11 tackles and 957 " hits " Nice how during two big turnovers, ESPN was busy doing a Tedy tribute instead of calling the action.

The AFC East was ripe for the picking this year. Unfortunately, the entire organization decided to underachieve and didn't focus enough on the onfield product. Holes in the trenches are all too evident . The playcalling and defensive schemes defy any semblance of long term winning logic. TD unfortunately just signed an extension. One must hope he now realizes he is far too full of himself and needs to open his eyes. The Front 7 on Defense is weak against the run. If you can't stop this, then you'll NEVER win in the NFL. Dillion was hurt and shouldn't have played last night. He still had little trouble picking up yardage in crunch time. All healthy RB's run right through us with ease and TD needs to find quality talent. The OL is flawed. Both Guard positons need upgrading. Gandy is a solid backup but a LT is needed. Teague needs to leave and Preston should take some snaps with J.P. THIS season to see if he's anything. We may have to sign a Vet WR if Moulds cannot reduce his cap killing contract. Outside of that, take a break for a year from Offensive skill position players. I no longer care about TE's who can deep snap and play Tuba in the band. We have enough QB's,RB's,WR's and TE's. Make some tough cap decisions on Vets who can't help us win. Open up some cap space and sign some top talent for the trenches. OL and DL. OL and DL. OL and DL. Throw in a LB and a Safety. Coaching - on D, Gray leaving would be a good thing. Hire Dom Capers if Houston fires him. Even last night, the blitz happy panic D returned in crunch time. The CB's are hung out to dry with actual QB pressure occurring all too infrequently. Gray can't adjust when it's not working. On Offense, stick with the run to set up more play action. I hate the imploding trick plays that work once every 20 times. Learn where the first down markers are on 3rd down. Losman is the starting QB and Holcomb is a decent backup. Establish that thinking Now. Start giving some young players some snaps. You can't learn on the bench. Start establishing a winning mentality for the first time in 6 years. No more false promises. The fans are doing their job when it comes to suporting this underachieving dreck. About time this organization started doing theirs.

Bengals to reassess security after incident
Mark VI replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a choker. Some guy at the Bills game ran 100 yards a couple games back, hold up his falling pants before security tackled him in the end zone. 50 yards is nothing. -
The Most Predictable Thing On Earth!!

Bad teams always find a way to lose. It's a reflection on the entire organization. ALthough the spin doctors will blame it on nonsense. -

Buffalo Getting Old, Besides Being Bad.
Mark VI replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Adams- still has another year or 2 under contract Fletcher- another year but I'd like an upgrade after that Holcomb- 4 year contract to be a solid backup. Milloy- His strength is playing up near the line as a 4th LB against the run. Asking him to single cover isn't his game. He must detest this D Gray is calling. Moulds- Cap figure for 2006 is 10.8+ Mil - paycut or gone Posey - Can be replaced Shelton - Blocking FB's are easy to find. He's still got another year or 2. Signed an extension last year. Teague- Who cares ? Bye bye after this year. Chris V - Started playing poorly last year. Now can't stay healthy. Decision time. Vincent- I only expected 2 years out of him anyhow. One more year while his replacement is identified. (R. Baker ?) -
He'll see the Crib he wants and demand the seller slash his price.
