  1. Point taken. We need a guy with a well rounded game which includes running, blocking and ability to catch the dump/screen pass and get some yards. A lot of the top backs are very good blockers, which is often overlooked. McGahee had a couple of nice blocks Saturday.
  2. Sorry. That road ends at a cliff with a 800 foot drop.
  3. Why hasn't Lionel Gates been activated once this season ? Shaud Williams is 5-5 in heels and isn't anything more than a 3rd down back. Way too tiny. Signing a Vet to push McGahee would be a good idea. I'm under the belief that most all high draft picks in 2006 should be O and D Lineman. The following year, a RB could be a high pick.
  4. Willis McGahee had another lousy game with 23 carries for 66 yards, a 2.9 average. This is seven games in a row without a 100-yard performance, and while everyone knows the offensive line isn't very good, McGahee looks like he's shot this year. There's no hop in his step, no willingness to put his head down and burrow for yards the way he did last season. He had 790 yards in the first 8 games (98.7 average), and has 344 in the last 7 games (49.1 average). - Rochester D&C I made the above observation... in August Something is wrong here... The OL can only be blamed so much.. Drew Rosenhaus is high if he believes McGahee deserves a new contract. His current contract is good enough, based on performance...or lack of... With plenty of Cap room to work with, signing a journeyman RB wouldn't be a bad idea.
  5. Ralph will fire TD at the very least. Wake up, stop dreaming. A lot of you out of town fans have zero pulse on the marketing end of this team. 47,000 + season tickets were sold this season. About 10,000 of those fans will not renew if some form of a shakeup fails to happen... Then the ticket office has to work that much harder to fill the stadium. Mularkey may have saved his job yesterday with an inspired and highly unexpected road win vs. Cinci. Ralph will probably promote Modrak to GM with an order to beef up the OL,DL or else.
  6. He's improved his total game. Another guy who was quietly extended by TD last year, much like McGee this year.
  7. Back to the original question. Holcomb starts next week because MM still thinks he needs to win to keep his job. After todays win and a 300 + yard game, Mulakey won't sit Holcomb.
  8. and a new contract !
  9. Winning on the road was a trick on our eyes.
  10. Nate lost a boatload of $$ lately. He was pathetic today.
  11. I think the babe knows something... or someone.
  12. That should take 10 minutes... 15 tops.
  13. Clements lost the playcalling duties in week 5 . It's a given he's gone. Gray calls too many outside blitzes, leaving the middle of the field wide open. I just think he'll look elseware for opportunities, rather than us firing him. I would like to see someone else as our D Coordinator, who plays it tighter in the middle and doesn't rely on desperate blitzes on 75% of the plays.
  14. New coordinators on O and D perhaps but Mularkey saved his job today. Not saying I agree with it but the OL shortage will overshadow all his coaching blunders and only TD will take the fall. Wyche the new OC and maybe a new DC to replace Gray ? The Bengals were surprised the Bills showed up. That Defense sucked and we could have scored 50 on them if we were even an average team.
  15. WooHoo ! Joe Burns racks up 6 TD's !
  16. " Your honor, we accept the insanity plea.."
  17. Quick. Someone notify Mighty Taco.
  18. No problem. They showed it on the news last week. He ran some computer program that drives the lights to the music. Obviously, a sharp cookie.
  19. I posted that before and it's fantastic. He's a software eng. in Masillon, Ohio. Runs all his lights into a server, with the program loaded up on a laptop in his garage. Has about 15 songs. A local FM station carries the music, so people can pull up in their cars and watch the show. My late great parents had a place down in Coral Springs, Florida. About 2 blocks away, around the intersection of University and Sample, some rich guy turned his house into an amazing display. Hundreds of thousands of lights. I counted 128 moving figurines up his sidewalk. His 2 car garage was the greatest model train village I ever saw. Lights all over the house, roof, front lawn. People would pack the place and no one minded. Had a charity jar for poor kids. I wonder if that's still there ? Last time I saw it was 1999.
  20. This bastard. Look how lazy he is... always saying he's "inactive". Looks like a fat Karl Childers. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=122604 Locker room cancer.
  21. " Just Give Me The Damn Reward " KJ's new book in 2006.
  22. With hundreds of prescription pills acting as ornaments ?
  23. Sabres lost ? They suck. That reminds me. Time to renew my unlimited roller coaster pass and subscription to Short Bus Weekly.
  24. " Hear Comes Santa Claus " by Elvis. Who in the name of God thought Elvis performing Christmas songs was a good idea ?
  25. Mortensen, due to his friendship with TD, has zero cedibility. What he and the impressive "EPSN Insiders" think means nothing. Quit reading that garbage.
