  1. He's a hedge in case Spikes can't return strong. I'm not sure he's Poseys replacement but we'll see. Channel 4 said he signed an extension, terms undisclosed.
  2. * Suddenly, without warning, Johnny made 2 incoherent posts which indicated the model airplane glue was indeed missing ! *
  3. Fielding the worst OL in pro football isn't "some" mistake. It's a huge mistake. He's had 5 friggin' years to correct this. Ding ding ding ! TIME'S UP, WHITEY !
  4. Denney is a decent backup and one of our best ST players. Makes a lot of tackles on kick coverage. I hope they sign him back up. Andersons play has really improved over the last month. Bannon is good as a rotation guy but the Bills need a run stuffing DT in a bad way. I wouldn't mind seeing Kelsay replace Posey. I think he's a little small for a DE but just flys to the ball when he gets off his block. Sideline to sideline range. Schobel gets better every season.
  5. I'd blow my stack if they picked another skill position player.
  6. What's encouraging about that list is some of those guys at the bottom played good football in college and have real ability. This is really a deep year for OT. I see value into the 3rd round.
  7. I'm looking at more than a dozen different players as our top pick. Several OL and a few DL. Let's keep an open mind and be realistic in our expectations. What we do in March Free Agency will determine our picks in April. I fully expect the Bills to be making a serious effort at signing some OL help.

Greggo became our coach in 2001. I see a couple playoff wins in 2002,2003. His teams always played swarming D plus pounded the ball with Eddie George on Offense. McNair was never a big thrower and took a beating in his career. But they knew how to finish games and win, when McNair and George were healthy. The biggest difference between wins and losses in the cap era is solid coaching. If he's released by the Titans, his phone will be ringing off the hook for good reason.
  9. What a stupid idea.

  11. Chris V, Teague, Anderson, Mike Williams - All need to go Quit settling for garbage. Sign at least 2 OL in March and draft 3 more in April.
  12. Add him to along list of high Bills picks that lacked heart and talent... Earthquake Enyart Al Cowlings Walt Patalski Rueben Gant Tom Ruud Bob Nelson Glenn Lott Phil Dokes Terry Miller Dee Hardison Booker Moore Chris Williams Byron Franklin Perry Tuttle Matt Kofler Tony Hunter Eric Richardson Mark Traynowicz Ronnie Harmon Roland Mitchell James Williams Bucky Brooks Lonnie Johnson Todd Collins Eric Flowers Tavares Tillman All 1st and 2nd round picks of the Bills I painfully watched. All basically were huge failures with the Bills...some did absolutely nothing and were cut after a year or two. I didn't even include the last 5 years. Williams probably outplayed everyone on this list. Draft = a crapshoot. Lesson learned. You want to be confident ? Throw the $$ at proven Free Agents in March.
  13. A crying room for the kids.
  14. I saw the Memphis game last night. He's 5-9 and 190. I know his stats ( Well over 6,000 yards rushing in 4 years ). He cannot be an everydown player in the NFL. Reminds me of 5-8 Ryan Moats of Philly. Had a big career at Louisiana Tech and the Eagles just discovered he could play. But over the long haul, his small frame may take a pounding. Hell, Bush is being questioned about his size at 5-11 and 205lbs.
  15. Isn't ABC and ESPN the same company ?
  16. The press conferences they hold, prior to draft day. The scouts talk about the regions they work and who looks good. I've even attended a couple.
  17. Nice job, GG. After Ralph fires TD and promotes Modrak, I hope Adams gets Modraks' old job as director of scouting. TD has been the only person making the picks since 2002. I've read the scouts comments, prior to Draft day. They ID good talent. TD just didn't pick them.
  18. I saw 3 step drops and a quick release, masking the shortcomings of pass protection. I also saw #21 barely making it back to the line of scrimmage. Keep Peters at 1 tackle spot and 4 new starters next season.
  19. Dennis Williams is playing the drama queen, I see. DL ? Stellar OL? Best Around RB? Consistent Coaching? Perfect Yup. It's all the QB. TD bullied the brilliant Mularkey. Mystery solved. 12-4 in 2006.
  20. He was capable of upgrading the Lines that for the last few years and took a pass. He knew better. I would like to see a new coach myself but I just think Ralph will slash TD and tell Modrak to find linemen. Hope I'm wrong but the easy way out seems all too obvious.
  21. Bah ! What do you know ! Your points are rock solid. I only differ with the one statement above. Mularkey was lost in more than a couple games this year and failed to adjust as the games wore on. Our 2nd half scoring was dead last for a reason beyond a bad OL and other player shortcomings. Still, the posters who say " blow it up " make me laugh. I'm hoping "it" means the mush between their own ears. Go nuts in March FA and the draft with OL additions. Throw in a couple DL additions and maybe we have something to work with. Let Gray leave and find a new D philosophy. Let Wyche call the plays. I still see TD being thrown to the wolves. No way can the Bills escape the wrath of the ticket buying public without the most obvious change.
  22. I would start JP. Mularkey, with his #1 concern being his HC job, will start Holcomb.
  23. Bullseye. Props for the drooling canine.
  24. I agree but we're not talking common sense here. We're talking about Ralph and his mindset. The only iceburg Ralph cares about is the lettuce he had for dinner.
  25. Agreed but he's 2 years too late. In Ralph's eyes, he cut his own throat last April by drafting Parrish and Everett over OL, regardless of their talent level. That may have been his last chance to upgrade the OL . Besides, there is much debate as to how much credit TD deserves for the marketing end of this team. Was it him or Russ Brandon, the 38 year old wiz kid ( V.P. of Business ) ? I hear it may be Russ. If TD leaves, he becomes the Business Pres., leaving the new GM to concentrate on Football. Signing Gandy, Bennie Anderson and Jermain was equivalent to signing Curley, Larry and Moe. Ralph is not happy these days.
