  1. Habitat For Humanity gets 5K in charity for each timeout called by DB.
  2. That's how my college team, Ohio St. , wins most every game !
  3. I'm sure we'd be 2-0 if Ruben was here.
  4. So Tom, did you wake up this morning, holding an empty bottle of Crown and scream " WTF did I just do ??? "
  5. Why are the 2004 media guides coming out this late ? I received one 6-7 weeks ago from Bills Digest. Same with giving out the magnetic 2004 schedules on opening day. Those should have been handed out at the 1st pre-season game, with leftovers for the 2nd pre-season game and the opener. That's how things were done in the past.
  6. If we can't win at least 8 games with the current cast of "stars", then what's holding us back towards looking to the future, after 2004 ? The D is playing well enough but the Offense is full of excuses. If this continues, then it's 2 wasted seasons in a row. Let's see how we look in our next 2 games against the Pats and Jets. IF we lose those, then the hollow apologies from fan favorites are over with. The future on Offense, come 2005, is Losman, Evans, MaGahee, Euhus etc. The other overpaid " Stars " can be moved for cap purposes and replaced with FA Vets in areas of need. Some players will never win here and a position of denial does nothing to improve the situation. I root for the Bills, not the legacy of people who's jersey I wear. Sacred cow status be damned. It's about WINNING FOOTBALL GAMES !
  7. What a stupid post. 2 games into his Head Coaching career. Can't make any judgements about him for 2 years, minimum. Plus he is saddled with some Vets who can't get the job done.
  8. Give him the Telephone pole.
  9. 12 . Kept asking the team Doctor " Dear God ! When is Losman going to be healthy ! "
  10. That would be a great trade. Bledsoe and Henry have a laundry list of limitations, which is maddening. They do NOT have well rounded games. I'm not directly BLAMING them for 2 losses. That's silly. Losman and MaGahee have more well rounded games and do NOT limit the playbook. They can ENERGIZE the offense, along with Evans, Euhus, maybe Aiken. They couldn't possibly generate as many negative plays as our PROVEN Losers...er.. I mean Veterans...
  11. Hindsight being 20/20, I have no problem with drafting both Evans and Losman, trading away next years #1 to do so. This is the Cap age and a solid FA signing in March can trump any draft pick. The future is Losman at QB, Evans at WR, MaGahee at RB and Euhus at TE. I'm not impressed with the current so-called stars not playing anywhere near their abilities. Tired of living in the past and LOSING. Good Defensive efforts continued to be flushed down the drain. Everyone gets a year older while waiting for the offense to wake up. Turn the page and energize this team in 2005.
  12. I can still punt the ball 40 yards. Maybe I should get my soon to be 44 fat ass back out there !
  13. WTF ? Was your cable out ? You don't kill an hour by getting hitched. How prenant is she ? What a desperate cry for attention. Oh well, it's your funeral... Congrats bastard.
  14. Roget just puked in his coffin.
  15. That you wasted bandwith ?
  16. Well done ! As a registered Independent, I can laugh at both parties. They provide plenty of material.
  17. Yesterdays Wall St. Journal had a section all about the business side of the NFL. The league is very healthy, including the Bills. No mention of any prospective cities clamoring for an NFL team, due to the current economic climates and the cost of franchises. ( Basically said LA was dreaming out loud) It was estimated that any city wishing a team to would have to pay between 900 Mil and about 1.2 Billion..yes BILLION...dollars. That doesn't even figure in the cost of a stadium, new or existing, which must meet NFL standards. That's for a new franchise or any existing team. The cost of business has skyrocketed in the last 5 years. Taxpayers will not pony up that kind of cash anymore. The economic climate has changed considerably over the last several years. When Paul Tags took over for the late Pete Rozelle as the Commish, he told Tags " Take care of the small market teams " . The salary cap, love it or hate it, did just that. I'm well aware of the yearly buyout that the Bills could exercise. I read where several other teams have the same situation. So who has a Billion, plus Stadium expense and more, to pony up ? Where are all these cities ? If so, show me a link to back it up.
  18. Didn't he trash Buffalo while in Tampa Bay ? He would never want to come back here. Plus the fan base would lynch him. Is a Gary Marangi post far behind ?
  19. Stop Pressing the press on us.
  20. It's Sunny and 80 degrees today. The weather will be great all week. Not even the Bills can ruin that.
  21. So this Stuart Scott Ebonics book is no good ?
  22. Can Squat play QB until Losman is ready ?
  23. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20040920/1044579.asp I've seen film of the kid on Empire. He can fly and makes plays all over the field. St. Francis is #1 in WNY.
  24. That sounds more like Bledsoe. Sure your not mixing up the numbers ?
