Pats could not run the ball without Dillon. Steelers knew Brady was going to pass every single play. I don't know any NFL QB who could thrive in that situation. I'm not taking anything away from the Steelers but Brady still threw a couple TD's with a jailbreak blitz in his face. I do agree with your comment on the hot reads by the Receivers... DB - 7-18 81 Yards - well aware of the wind. Underthrew some people 10 feet from him. Threw a ball to Campbell when he had 4 people on him ( 2 LB's 2 DB's). DB dropped an easy INT deep in Buffalo territory. Made a nice throw on the Moulds TD. Short pass to Euhus that Euhus took in. He heard boos a few times that were plenty justified, due to some very poor plays. People were not just looking for a reason to drill him. He brings this on himself.

Saw a great Wedding at Pinto Kens' BBQ. Congrats to Shane and Natasha. The Commish of Tailgating , Joe Cahn, gave the bride away ! We all threw popcorn and Kenny followed it up by getting drowned in Ketchup and Mustard. Fantastic tailgate ! Saw Bill in NYC and Bob Lamb, plus the usual crowd. Great game. TD got a 1st rounder from Atlanta for a guy who could have signed for no compensation a week later. He did not wish to play here anymore. The argument is moot. In return, TD gambled on MaGahee, who may be our starter from this day forward. TD has made some blunders but the Peerless situation wasn't one of them.

He's listed at 6-2 1/2 218. A dozen of us from this board, including nodnarb, attended a double practice in August when they worked out against the Browns. At the conclusion, he was signing autographs at the fence 10 feet in front of us. He's big enough and pretty darn strong. Looks like a 16 year old kid. He'll learn not to scramble as much, after his injury. It's his arm and delivery which is so impressive. Very accurate. Makes quick decisions. Athletic. Can spot the secondary receiver. I can see him burning the blitz and bringing a halt to that. Has so much poise. So pleased with that pick. I'm hoping he's ready for the Rams game in late November.

I agree. TD is FAR from perfect and deserves his criticism . Still, wishing Losman and Evans were not here for some phantom draft pick is just silly. Plus those who keep going on about that Draft pick pretend the March Free Agency period isn't a viable option. A proven NFL Player isn't as good as a draft pick who has proven nothing at the NFL level but will cost multi millions per season. Gotcha.

What are his thoughts on the Stock Market ? Is Consolidated Mountain Bunker ( CMB ) a good buy ?
