  1. "wow...enormous lines, can only mean one thing... " Free cheese or a large Megamillions drawing.
  2. Did your wife bring her intimidation blackjack with her ?
  3. Puff just eats like a OL. He never really played .
  4. Went to vote at the VFW post up at my corner. All woman workers, none under the age of 84. I went to my district table and pointed to my name in the book. The lady snapped " Just wait until I'm ready ! " ( no one else was there ) . After 30 seconds, she looks back up at me and asks " Your name ? " She is absolutely dripping with $3 perfume and I'm already starting to feel dizzy. I show her my drivers license and once again, pointing to my name . She looks at my picture like she was ex- CIA, completely suspicious. I see a button on her lapel but cannot quite make it out. Think it says " Win With Wilkie " but now I'm spinning from the perfume. She then drops my license on the floor and all hell breaks loose. I go to pick it up and I hear 2,3 other ladies say " Is everything OK ? " as they scramble over to see what's wrong. Now the lady says she can't find her glasses and not to sign my name until she finds him. Now I'm hacking from the perfume and some suggest calling an ambulance. Next think I know, the conversation switches to medic alert bracelets and no one will help me. It's at least another 5 minutes until they all gain some composure and allow me to sign the book. Once in the booth, I vote but am too light headed to realize what levers I pull. My eyes are spinning. I'm on a mission to hit the door and get some fresh air. Can't concentrate at all. I get outside and must sit on the steps to clear my head. What are my legal rights ? Can't these voting places find anyone who wasn't born when William Howard Taft was President ? The smell inside that place was beyond belief ! This voter was very intimidated. Absentee ballots from now on.
  5. Sounds like a Springsteen song. Can you do "Born in the USA" ?
  6. People mock wrestling, then turn on multiple " Reality TV " shows. I find that funny.
  7. Yeah, a crying shame. Wisconson is in the drivers seat. I knew my Buckeyes were in for a bad year, with only 4 starters returning out of 22. Michigan is actually better than I thought. Henne and Hart are very good. Barry Alvarez is a great Coach and has the Wisconson in line for their 4th Rose Bowl under his leadership. He could be a good NFL Coach but he's too smart for that.
  8. G. Giddy Liddy - has psycho genius written all over it.
  9. I didn't see the Hamilton Tiger Cats on that list.
  10. Howard Simon just said that Josh Mora will show the Wedding Highlights Tuesday on the Empire Sports report at 6:30pm and 10:30pm.
  11. " The undefeated '72 Dolphins still meet yearly ... "
  12. While holding hands with Tom Cruise.
  13. If I have to read about those old, arrogant fools toasting another year of celebrating their '72 undefeated season, I'll be pissed. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Maybe we could pool some $$ for hired goons to shut them up. Yeah, I know. Some of those guys are in their late 60's now. Shula is 74. So ?
  14. GG = Greg Giddy ?
  15. That and the Bills are moving. He heard a Mayflower van was seen in Erie County. That must mean something !
  16. Natasha was walked down the isle by the Commissioner of Tailgating, Joe Cahn. Vows had a football ring to it. Many from this board attended. Empire Sports had Josh Mora there covering it. Bowling ball shots upon the conclusion. Buffalo Bart took over a hundred pictures and should post some soon. Saw some outstanding things grilling on the Pinto. Canadian bacon ( Canada day) , cooking on a saw. Fish. Wings were awesome. I believe Bob Lamb caught the bouquet. Talked to Joe Cahn. He still thinks Buffalo is #1 in Tailgating. DirecTV can never deliver that type of gameday atmosphere. Being there is 50 times better. Go ahead and beat each other up on the board. I had a great time yesterday and no mental midget can steal that feeling. Sundays at the Ralph. Heaven on Earth. B) Agreed ?
  17. You BETTER acknowledge me. Hey, wait a minute..
  18. Grind it. Add onions and bamboo shoots . Moo Shoo Kitty. On taco shells . Hoisin sauce gives it the right flavor.
  19. Or pretending to be Jo-Pak with a hankering for Calico.
  20. Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
  21. Aren't you from Cheektowaga ?
  22. Excellent post, GG. Due to the weather, the game of field position was in full force yesterday. Bills didn't do much when going towards the scoreboard endzone, which was directly into a 30-40 mph wind. Played it smart and made the Cardinals try to beat our Defense. Wound up being a great strategy. Cardinals cut it to 10-7, only to see McGee run back the kickoff to make it 17-7. Moorman made several impressive punts into the wind. From that point on, we made them take chances and earn points. The Defense played super and kept their end of the bargain. Nate Clements made some fine punt returns and we were able to cash in with the wind at our backs and win the field position game. Sharp coaching. We played a cool game of chess and it worked splendidly. Something positive to build on. Confidence is gained from games like this, regardless of the opponent. This league is all about momentum. MaGahee has given the Offense a spark. Losman will probably do the same in a month. Something to build on for the rest of the season and carry it into 2005. No more pie in the sky false hope.
  23. I enjoyed the game . I was well aware of the errors made and didn't need "Bucky" to paint me a picture of total despair. I realize it was "only " the Cardinals, who have lost 17 in a row on the road. 38 points is a good thing, even if the opponent is the Convent of St. Marys. Something to build on. Condescending observations of brilliance are impressive to some, I suppose.
  24. It was either Willis or Bobby Shaw.
  25. Anyone notice #55 Angelo Crowell is an absolute killer on ST's ? Making tackles and incredible blocks.
