  2. Me too. I don't know why that upset a few posters.
  3. GFY. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: I may not think he's the answer anymore but I'll never boo the guy. The change will happen soon enough.
  4. Wear a #11 jersey with a 14 point deer antlers helmet.
  5. LOL ! Start doing those crunches, Scott. Get rid of those stretch marks ! Congrats, #1.
  6. Who is this glorious SAVIOR we passed on by taking Losman instead ? This is a hollow argument unless I hear specific names of franchise players worth a top 10 pick in the 2005 Draft. Kyle Orton ? I can name 4 QB's, mimimum, ranked ahead of him. Leinert ( USC), Rogers ( Cal ), Fry ( Akron) & Orlovsky ( U. Conn ). Since I follow College football very closely, good luck dropping names.
  7. John, you were defending Drew to the wall without any care of Losman being on the roster, until recently. DB will be given the quick hook if we get behind. Eventually, he will start.
  8. Yup, ABC News just said she's the choice. I'm sure that's a popular choice in the Muslim world. Condi is one sharp lady.
  9. I'll bet the Bills introduce the Starting D and not the Offense, just so DB doesn't hear the boos.
  10. Who remembers last year ? Tell that to the Cowboy fans. They passed on RB Steven Jackson and gave us the opportunity to draft Losman. The Cowboys have zero running game and look terrible. I never said JP was " The Man " ?? I said we needed a QB to replace Bledsoe and JP was drafted with that in mind. We need to play him before passing judgment. He's already here, signed and learning. Hopefully starting soon. I hope Free Agency brings us some Offensive Lineman and a Free Safety.
  11. Let's all drink a Roid milkshake in his honor ! Way to gain 40 lbs of muscle in a few months and deny taking roids ! Go America !
  12. Parcells "genius" days are long gone. The Cowboys look more pathetic than the Bills. The whole #1 Draft Pick argument has been repeated ad nauseum. We needed a QB to replace DB and he is already here. Bills need to target some PROVEN NFL PLAYERS in March Free Agency. Trade Henry and get another pick on draft day ( maybe a third rounder ) and concentrate on improving the roster.
  13. Bledsoe doesn't have the ability to anger anyone, at this juncture. Anything he has to say, outside of "This is my last season", will be met with complete apathy. The glimmer of hope he offered as a Starting QB and leader has been extinguished. No one is listening anymore. His words ring hollow.
  14. This is a Fire Marshalls website... " Fire...Fire...Fire !! " Look elseware for qualified candidates ( C-Block would be a good start ).
  15. Put " Turn The Page " on your stereo.
  16. Wasn't TD there the last time they went to a SB ? What have they done the previous 7 years, other than disappoint ? I give them their props for 2004. But this constant search for a comparison ( Why isn't Coughlin,Parcells,Fox etc. being metioned now ? Losing perhaps ?) means little.
  17. Ben R threw an INT in his first pass of 2004, resulting in a TD return. He never should have played these last few weeks for the Steelers.
  18. The Pats were dropping the LB's off into coverage. Rarely did Bledsoe see any jailbreak blitzes but he failed to see the LB's underneath or the Safeties. It wasn't a case of not being able to beat simple man coverage, as previously implied.
  19. The Pats could see how we won our 3 games in the last month. Pound Willis and let DB throw half the norm. So they keyed on Willis and ran a zone against Drew, who didn't see much pressure the whole game. The problem was, he couldn't see the coverage 10 feet in front of him and kept making huge mistakes, his trademark on the road. The Pats Defense forced DB to be the focal point of our attack and showed why that's always a failure for the Bills. Brilliant on their part. So it's up to the Staff to figure out a new plan and adjust. They failed. Defensively, we didn't adjust to the outside sweep or the crossing patterns the Pats kept calling. Mularkey can walk over to Gray and ask him for something different. He didn't. " We just didn't execute " ( I hate that phrase ) was indeed a big problem but other than throwing Losman to the wolves, the Bills never made any real changes in the game plan that was failing. DB drove a final nail into his own Starting QB career last night but it hardly was all his fault. Now the Bills need to look towards the future and develop a game plan for Losman and also the Defense. The Bills aren't an A team by any stretch but the game plans have been so predictable without any backup plan. Once again , the Bills were exposed in Prime time, so get used to the doubters in the National press. It's up to Mularkey to identify his players for 2005 and make improvements in obvious areas ( OL, Free Safety, CB etc. ). Most important of all, Mularkey himself must learn to adjust during the game, when plan A isn't working. Most 1st year coaches struggle with that, so it's hardly a surprise. Time will tell whether he learns. Go ahead and flame away. I'd expect nothing less.
  20. Push harder, Scott. You can do it !
  21. A thinking mans' thread by CVM . Quite the conundrum. There isn't a Bills fan here that is rooting against the Bills tonight, CVM included. He's just bringing up a discussion concerning the long term ramifications of the future core of our Offensive skill position players. I have my doubts that a win tonight would blind TD,Mularkey,Wyche and Co. from looking at the QB situation long and hard. I believe Losman will get some snaps this season. The Bills would NOT rubber stamp Bledsoe as the long term starter if an upset occured tonight, due to the fact that our running success would probably be the reason for the win. It's been a long time since we won on the road and to be a playoff team, 4-5 road wins a season are needed. Is that Bledsoe's MO these days ? Hardly. He's been brutal on the road and if MaGahee is kept in check, some playmaking ability is needed form the QB position. That screams of Losman, not Bledsoe. Despite the weekly emotional roller coaster ride of many here, the Bills brass will continue to be pragmatic about the QB position...one week at a time. Losman is our future and one win will not set the plan back weeks or years. Good post, CVM.
  22. I did a double take while channel surfing for college ball. A west coast game kicking off at 9am local time, just to get on T.V. ? Stands are half empty for a game that will be high scoring. I'd love to go to a 9am game. Over by noon and you still have the whole day ahead of you. It's already tied 7-7, 8 minutes in.
  23. Tinea cruris ! Ack ! Quick, a barrel of anti-fungal and block the Mayflower trucks ! I hope the Philly Inquirer doesn't get the itch to print another story !
  24. In the age of 24/7 sports coverage, these stories become huge. Butkus, Mean Joe Greene, Mike Curtis...they weren't as graphic but basically predicted they would crush the opposing RB,QB...back in the day. They most always backed it up. Today, the athletes just want to see themselves on Sportscenter and will say anything for attention. Unfortunately, they come across as complete idiots.
  25. Lullabies, look in your eyes, Run around the same old town. Doesn't mean that much to me To mean that much to you. I've been first and last Look at how the time goes past. But I'm all alone at last. Rolling home to you.
