  1. I went back and checked that Bills-Cards Thanksgiving game . I was right about the score. The year was 1975. Detroit has played on Thanksgiving since the 1960's. Dallas picked up the late game around 1980, I believe.
  2. I remember the Bills beating the St. Louis Cards at St. Louis, 32-14 on Thanksgiving day... 1974 , I believe. FB Jim Braxton had a huge day.
  3. Wonder what Bledsoe would fetch...outside of a liversnap.
  4. He did and was extended ANOTHER 3 years yesterday afternoon, in fear that he would be getting called. Now Iowa has him locked up through 2012.
  5. The tunnel end zone has been the Fight Club the last few home games. I blame Bledsoe and the OL.
  6. I'll take " Sinking Careers " for $1200, Alex...
  7. I saw Greenday in '94. They actually had an openly gay band called Pantywaste open. They were booed off the stage, due to constant pro gay references... Their appearence was unannounced and it got ugly very fast. Bad move by that promoter.
  8. Bumping your own threads with unregistered posts. How pathetic. Thank you IP tracer.
  9. Wifes family is coming to our house...freeloaders... Er...I mean..it's sooooo nice to just sit and talk with family.
  10. Those ears cause quite the strain.
  11. I arrived home from the Bills game and caught the last 3 quarters of the Miami-Seattle game. The Seahawks were terrible in every phase of the game. Miami used both QB's and they kept turning the ball over. Then again, we've seen how Bledose plays wearing the ugly white jersey. If the Bills could stick to the run, play solid D and the usual great Special Teams, the road streak could end. Definitely have some confidence entering this game. Seattle is ripe for the taking.
  12. "This Week in High School Field Hockey" doesn't cut it ?
  13. But if I don't watch 60 Minutes, he doesn't exist. So for all intents and purposes, he's history. The bubble is alive and quite healthy.
  14. Lillywhite is very talented. The early U2 stuff was his. He gave careers to XTC and Ultravox. Did lots of work with the Psychedelic Furs. Then everyone wanted him. Bowie, Gabriel, The Smiths, the Stones ( Dirty Works ),Simple Minds, The Pogues. He was THE hot producer. Was married to the late Kirsty MacCool who did a nice album (Kite) . The Vertigo commercial looks good. Was the followup music not as impressive ?
  15. The Bluecoats are standing right in front of Williams. I believe that look in his eye was when Jack in Syracuse called him a big puss.
  16. Can you and I be the agents ? That Maui would would get lost in transit.
  17. I remember seeing U2 open for Talas ( snicker ) in 1980. The minute U2 finished, we left. Too each their own but after U2 produced Boy(1980),October(1981) and War (1983), they stopped making the good music I like. Sold their soul to pop mainstream and the almighty $$. Lost their edge ( pardon the pun). Hated their Brian Eno music. ( puke)
  18. Stop it Tom, I'm all the verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves .... (sniff ) .. I can vividly remember those days like it was a week ago... Where the hell has the time gone ?
  19. Hey Millbank. Remember the wooden bingo chairs in the back of the endzone at the old Rockpile ? Come on, I know some other 40 something and older folks remember those. I sat there a few times in the late 60's. Warren Wells of the Raiders almost ran over us after an overthrow out of the endzone in my first game...Sept. 1968.
  20. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  21. " Everybody Must Get Stoned " - Dylan
  22. He was willing to pummel Harry Potter. They should take 10 games off his suspension right there.
  23. Because she used to make " it " pop when you were a tyke. God you're old.
  24. Martz cuts Bobby April. Rams ST's = last Bills ST's = #1 That alone shows why Martz should be fired.
