  1. I had her...
  2. Why do I picture you as the first in line at a Paris Star Wars convention ?
  3. I agree. Not a star but did play well as the season wore on. Very long arms and moves good in pass protection. The biggest problem was the interior of the line. Signing Fowler at Center was a start. Solving both Guard positions is most important for the OL. Another DT is obvious. Wish we could also find another pass rushing DE but we need more than one off-season to fix this.
  4. I'm hoping the Bills are trying to get a contract worked out although nothing has been said. If Nate still wants the 60 Mil contract he dreams about, you know he'll never get it here with our current financial state of affairs ( think huge signing bonus ). If so, do we deal him on Draft day for a 1st or 2nd round pick ? Then one high pick would be a CB. Huff can play both or Ty Hill of Clemson may be another option. It may be a non-issue but Clements wants his outrageous payday, like it or not. He really doesn't care who gives it to him. I know we could let him rot but if we don't intend on giving him a long term deal, what's the point ? This is a deep draft at DB and the time to get his replacement is now. Hmmm...This off-season sure isn't short on drama...
  5. Maybe the Bills are taking their place in 2007.
  6. Excellent ! I hope they double the fights tomorrow.
  7. I would write Brian Higgins first, since he actually seems to fight for WNY and not take any crap from people that block waterfront development, eliminating tolls etc. Get Congress involved. Hell, they love calling baseball players in for Roid hearings. This is far more important and means millons to several cities, including Buffalo.
  8. The constant threat of long term security has indeed become tiresome. I was born into a season ticket family and have been lucky to always have tickets ( or not, if you look the record. ). Yet I'm to the point where the NFL doesn't have the same allure it once did. The constant whining from the players and owners about $$ is sickening. They're never happy and I can't see 32 teams 10 years from now. I'm thinking at least 8 teams are gone ( including the Bills ) unless something drastic happens. Only legal action can possibly change anything but soon all the seats will be too expensive for most wage earners to afford. I still like the game and will continue to follow college football. The NFL will cease to exist in my world, if the Bills leave. Maybe a new 8 team AFL type league will form, with salaries more in line with reality. You never know.
  9. They would become the LA Homies.
  10. He shouldn't try and think. Just report the news after it happens. Hopefully, Cutler can play Guard and become a roadgrader in the running game.
  11. Your short a zero but keep going. We never tire of it.
  12. My hope is that many people will stop using this place as their personal wailing wall and post something intelligent. There's a difference between critical discussion and incessant bitching, just to hear yourself.
  13. And where did it get us in the grand scheme of things ?
  14. Are you still a suspect in the " Up With People " cast killings ?
  15. NYC Mayor Bloomberg couldn't get a new Stadium for Manhattan, even though the Olympics and The Jets/Giants would be attracted. Ralph is whistling in the wind and he knows it. The Stadium in Orchard Park is fine and not the issue at hand. The bleak upstate economy is something he cannot control and wishes some yearly aid at best. I still believe he's looking for buyers and having Pataki spread the word. It's all staged dramatics, worthy of a Tony nomination at this point. I published his current operating income of 36.1 Mil, which is 14th among 32 teams. His present situation is MORE than good. Beyond 2012, he has a point but probably won't have a pulse by then. So selling is the thought in the near future. Take care of Mary and his 2 daughters.
  16. I said that in jest but even he wouldn't risk el Dante !
  17. Imagine the Pay Per View Pre-Order ! That would mean at least another 10 years here ! $59.95 . Where do I sign ?
  18. Al Davis, who is desperate for a QB , didn't even want him at that price . That speaks volumes.
  19. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...pper/index.html and to think the OC is Meathead on top of all this.
  20. UB is taking home over 1 Mil for visiting the 3 teams mentioned above. That will go towards recruiting and further upgrades to the facilities. They already have done a ton since the new AD arrived. Bringing in Turner Gill can only help attract talent.
  21. Will 85 year old Art Wander be there, asking him if he has a drug problem ?
  22. Actually, I think he persues young bisons on myspace.com. He'll be arrested if he keeps that up.
  23. What's the difference ? They're all going to suck. ...and then the Bills will move.
