  1. But I heard of him. Therefore we MUST have him.
  2. He forgot that part. He was busy looking at his spinning rims on his hummer. There's a joke in there somewhere.
  3. I'm sure this Wall St. wizard who can't understand why 15 year old girls aren't legal, can give an accurate analysis on the Shelton trade situation. He thinks TD is blocking the deal. WTF does he know about blocking ?
  4. Clamoring ? LOL ! Because 4,5 people mention him in a thread, we're clamoring ? He could be the biggest stiff in the world, as Simon mentioned. I'm just saying some lower round picks do make it. Most do not. I don't even remember watching his play last year. I did notice Peters and was glad we got him back. He's strictly a project. Come on TD, go get Shelton.
  5. Completely agree AKC. Another issue is why doesn't the NFL train some younger, faster officials with better eyesight ? The game is much too fast for these older refs who continue to make galling blunders on a weekly basis. Then they spend 3-4 minutes at midfield having a committee meeting of stupidity, driving everyone insane.
  6. DeMulling was a 7th round pick out of Idaho a few years back and got his chance with Indy. Some here are still complaining we didn't offer him 3 Mil a year. You never know what ability they have until you throw them into action and let the bullets fly. They don't learn anything glued to the bench. McFarland should see significant action in the pre-season.
  7. Quit practicing so much and make one yourself.
  8. Medicaid reform is needed. So is reform of Gov't in Erie County. Go to the Rath Bldg. and look at the County Offices. Then walk over to City Hall and look at those offices. They're the same. Then look at all the towns and villages in the County. More of the same. The services in Erie County are overlapping 2 or 3 times. TOO MUCH GOV'T. Regionalism is long overdue and the taxpayers have finally stood up to the thieves who gladly take our hard earned $$ and waste it. All these little fiefdoms of graf must come to an end. I do enjoy the fact that all the legislators,Naples,Giambra and others , have been reduced to crap throwing monkeys on the local news. They will all come out of this looking bad because they failed to address the problem.
  9. Oops. Did a cut and paste from the SN article. Thanks everyone for correcting me.
  10. Depending on what happens in the next month, it's DT,CB,OG or C with our first couple of picks.
  11. Nice find, Ross. Here's more on him. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2005/castillo_luis
  12. I was hoping Anne Hathaway ! ( drool ) http://www.actressarchives.com/display.php..._834338_600.jpg
  13. He and Bannon could be twins. I can't wait until the last couple of weeks before the Draft. That's when we'll read dozens of posts stating no one is worthy of our 2nd round pick. We should just trade down and aquire 3 or 4 6th rounders, otherwise we'd just blow the pick.
  14. Blurb from the Allen Wilson Sporting News Article on the Bills Wisconsin DT Anttaj Hathaway ( 6-3 320 ) may get strong consideration in the draft if he's available in the second round. Bills defensive line coach Tim Krumrie attended a Wisconsin workout recently and personally went through one-on-one drills with all the Badger defensive linemen. Krumrie came away impressed with Hathaway's toughness and tenacity, traits Krumrie displayed as a player. Hathaway also has good quickness and a knack for disrupting plays in the backfield. I looked him up on the GBN Report and he was ranked #54 out of the top 150 prospects. Fair chance he might be there in Round #2. I realize every mock draft has us picking a OL but we lost a pretty good DT in the last month. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2005/hawthorne_anttaj
  15. I understand the concern regarding RB depth behind MaGahee. Henry basically cleared out of Buffalo immediately after the season and has no intention of returning. I don't think he'd even report , if he was still on the roster. The Bills should just move him for anything they can get at this point. Find some depth in the draft or a late camp cut for a backup.
  16. TD is working within a limited budget this year. Restructuring the Bledsoe contract last year cost us 4.2 Mil in cap $$ this off-season. Bills could have stuck with the original terms but at the time they had few options, despite the fact Bledsoe was coming off a dreadful 2003 campaign. Revisionist history on every move matter little now. This Free Agency class was decent but hardly worth throwing big $$ at. The Bills can always find a good Vet for a 3rd WR. My thinking is Evans needs to start seeing the ball more than Moulds, who just doesn't have that burst anymore. I'm more worried about him getting hurt than Moulds. There was no decent backup available at RB. ( draft day pick) TE is still a concern, though I would like to see Peters getting lots of playing time as a tackle eligible, lining up next to Williams. Just pound the ball to the right. Two guys weighing a combined 750 lbs. will move forward, just because they want to. My concern is still the left side of the OL. Bills need to identify the Guard and OT on that side. Teague would be a last resort at LT and not the top option. With the NFL meetings starting today in Hawaii, I'm hoping TD talks directly to the Cardinals about Shelton. Either that or he must know something come draft day. There are still a few Guards out there in FA. Bennie Anderson would be a good signing. Patience is tough this time of year but little question the Bills still have holes to address.
  17. Bass would be a nice pick but the draft has a few OT's of quality and is very deep at Guard and Center. The Bills should come away with a quality OL ( or 2 ) in day 1 of the draft.
  18. She won $500,000 in 8 years on the now defunct Womens tour. Yesterday she pocketed 20 grand. That's some serious cash for Bowling.
  19. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8310931 I'm rooting for option #2 . With all the owners,GM's and Coaches in Hawaii, some face to face meetings will be taking place. This is where TD can talk to the Cardinals directly about aquiring Shelton and possibly dealing Henry to any team that will listen. The Free Agent hysteria of overpaying is basically concluded . A few bargains like Bennie Anderson are available but only one LT with starting experience remains. Bills really need to solidify this OL on the left side. The draft could give us a starter in Round 2 but I'd like to think TD has a couple more cards up his sleeve.
  20. He did invent the American "Muscle" car when, while working for GM, he designed the Pontiac GTO in the mid '60's. Sales exploded and the Big 3 started producing various classic muscle cars for the next several years. The GTO is one of the greatest cars I ever rode in. My brother had a fire red '67 convertible which was the envy of the neighborhood. He became notorious for other reasons later but the GTO made him a legend in car design history.
  21. Why ? He doesn't sell garbage plates. He just eats a lot of them.
  22. The Bills take in big $$ on concessions, parking and premium seats, in addition to the standard priced seats in the stadium. How would Toronto make up that difference ? Plus the Canadian exchange. Limited parking around the Skydome... I've been there. It's just a bad idea on several levels. Unless Toronto could give the Bills big $$ upfront to lure the game, I could never see that happening. I can see Arizona, who usually draw 35K fans , going to Mexico and drawing at least double that.
  23. The story is the rambling musings of one ill informed journalist. Nothing but filler for a column. The Bills would never move a game to a stadium 90 minutes away with 22,000 less seats and a smaller payday. Yet some will now use this to cry wolf and prove they're even more ignorant than this journalist.
