Spencer, Brown, Wilkerson, Carter. Those look to be the best 4. Carter is a great college player who may be a tad small for the NFL but will hit the weight room for another 10 lbs. The 3 above him are naturally bigger and stronger. Wilkerson may be attractive to TD because he had a past knee injury. Seems to have a fetish for those players.

Agreed. Center-Guard or Guard-Center in Rounds 2 and 3. Worry about signing Clements during the upcoming year. If not, our #1 pick is obvious in 2006. But this year, go for the OL.

Why would the Bills give up a 2nd rounder when they aren't competing with any other team for his services ? Several other teams mentioned in early March all signed alternatives and are no longer interested in Shelton. Sounds like TD is playing poker for a better deal.

Baas or Kemoeatu in Round 2. If not, then Terrell in Round 3. They seem like the most ready to start right away. All are powerful run blockers.

Part of the Cardinals/Shelton trade gossip was switching picks in Round #2. That would only move us up 11 spots ( 55 to 44th overall ). Maybe TD has his eye on one of the top 2-3 Guards and figures that could only help.

Am I the only one who believes Shelton will be a Bill soon, after reading everything the last couple of days ? I don't assume facts but reading between the lines, one can surmise : 1. The Bills currently are the only bidder for Shelton. Knowing this, TD is playing hardball. 2. Direct face to face talks happened the last couple of days at the NFL Hawaii meetings. The interest is there. 3. Bills don't seem to be in any hurry to sign a Guard, with the limited cap room. Henry counts roughly 1.25 Mil towards the Cap. Shelton would count 3 Mil. Bills are roughly 2 Mil, maybe more, under. Sheltons' salary,once here, would probably leave us with a Mil or less in cap space. 4. Bills could draft a Guard in Round 2 or 3, a deep position in the 2005 Draft. Let's see if this plays out.

Maybe that's why the Bills didn't offer him a contract.

Nope. Thurman blew out his knee as a junior at Oklahoma St. Went through a long rehab. I seem to recall a good career. Willis just started hitting his stride last year after shredding his knee a year before. I know the difference between rehab/recovery and permanent lepper status.

Hurting us in Free Agency ? How ? Bledsoe was a positive ? It's the available cap space issue. Not much this off-season. Plus the market didn't have any top tier FA's worthy of big $$. I believe the only FA we chased and lost out on was DeMulling. His contract wasn't much and the Bills obviously didn't think he was even worth that. I understand the need to fill some holes but Losman isn't causing anyone to run from us. I see more and more posters are becoming impatient. That's understood but lets wait until the first mini-camp, right after the draft, to see what we have lining up.
