  1. Bledsoe , the stone footed sack king, was our QB. That may have something to do with the perception. Didn't Willis have 1100+ yards in 12 starts last year ?
  2. Lee Evans is here. They showed him talking from OBD on the local news yesterday. Obviously working with Losman.
  3. Nanker gave us a classic ! Now you must run to OBD with a pitchfork, chanting his name until TD relents and signs him.
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=nfl&id=2019982 Stokes, who was signed in March 2004 to a five-year, $4.5 million contract that included a $1.2 million signing bonus, missed the final three preseason games with what was termed a pulled muscle in his buttocks. ( Can't confirm whether he actually had surgery, as the press release stated above ) In making the IR roster move, the Giants said Stokes has a back problem. Didn't play in 2004. Today, he was cut. Started at Left Guard in 2002 for Cleveland, then was their starting LT in 2003. Age 31 6-4 310.
  5. TD's Drafts = B- He's made some blunders and some good picks TD's FA Signings = B Signed garbage in 2001 ( no cap $$) ,Started signing good quality from 2002 on. So Darin basically proved your argument was flawed. Then the 26-38 record is called out as a last resort. This isn't Madden 2005. The major reason this team didn't show signs of progress until last year...could it be...Coaching ? You keep comparing the Pats to Buffalo. Belichick IS the difference between a good team and a great team. You can stop the flawed player comparison now. TD blew his 1st coaching hire. The Pats had Bill Belichick. We had Gregg Williams. Welcome to the 26-38 explanation and why the Pats are better than anyone.
  6. Mike Williams has been here a couple weeks.
  7. Will you stop hijacking threads with Off Topic LAMPS.
  8. Spencer, Brown, Wilkerson, Carter. Those look to be the best 4. Carter is a great college player who may be a tad small for the NFL but will hit the weight room for another 10 lbs. The 3 above him are naturally bigger and stronger. Wilkerson may be attractive to TD because he had a past knee injury. Seems to have a fetish for those players.
  9. Agreed. Center-Guard or Guard-Center in Rounds 2 and 3. Worry about signing Clements during the upcoming year. If not, our #1 pick is obvious in 2006. But this year, go for the OL.
  10. Why would the Bills give up a 2nd rounder when they aren't competing with any other team for his services ? Several other teams mentioned in early March all signed alternatives and are no longer interested in Shelton. Sounds like TD is playing poker for a better deal.
  11. http://www.thapack.com/jc_2005_2d_center.htm Teague may be gone after 2005. Another need position with quality depth in April. Opinions and estimated draft position is completely subjective.
  12. Baas or Kemoeatu in Round 2. If not, then Terrell in Round 3. They seem like the most ready to start right away. All are powerful run blockers.
  13. Part of the Cardinals/Shelton trade gossip was switching picks in Round #2. That would only move us up 11 spots ( 55 to 44th overall ). Maybe TD has his eye on one of the top 2-3 Guards and figures that could only help.
  14. http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/storypage...egory=cardinals Just in case the Bills decide to take a pass on Bennie Anderson and other FA's, lets look at some draft possibilities. Ratings are always subjective. Quality in Round #2 ? Seems to be Plenty ! While Brown and Bass may be off the board, the rest look to be in play for our pick.
  15. You're spot on with that observation. What shrivel of respect he had left with the sporting public went up in flames yesterday. I can't remember an athlete coming across worse in a press conference.
  16. ..along with Charlie Sheen.
  17. This was our Honeymoon 7 years back. 7 day Bermuda cruise. Loved it. http://www.yahoovacationstore.com/b/c/sc.a...&.l=Y&.gt=Hello!
  18. Am I the only one who believes Shelton will be a Bill soon, after reading everything the last couple of days ? I don't assume facts but reading between the lines, one can surmise : 1. The Bills currently are the only bidder for Shelton. Knowing this, TD is playing hardball. 2. Direct face to face talks happened the last couple of days at the NFL Hawaii meetings. The interest is there. 3. Bills don't seem to be in any hurry to sign a Guard, with the limited cap room. Henry counts roughly 1.25 Mil towards the Cap. Shelton would count 3 Mil. Bills are roughly 2 Mil, maybe more, under. Sheltons' salary, once here, would probably leave us with a Mil or less in cap space. 4. Bills could draft a Guard in Round 2 or 3, a deep position in the 2005 Draft. Let's see if this plays out.
  19. Maybe that's why the Bills didn't offer him a contract.
  20. Let's just keep it to one thread, shall we ?
  21. Didn't I just see this yesterday ? Are we in syndication already ?
  22. " You guys wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got me " Words of a gutless coward. The legacy grows smaller every day.
  23. Nope. Thurman blew out his knee as a junior at Oklahoma St. Went through a long rehab. I seem to recall a good career. Willis just started hitting his stride last year after shredding his knee a year before. I know the difference between rehab/recovery and permanent lepper status.
  24. Hurting us in Free Agency ? How ? Bledsoe was a positive ? It's the available cap space issue. Not much this off-season. Plus the market didn't have any top tier FA's worthy of big $$. I believe the only FA we chased and lost out on was DeMulling. His contract wasn't much and the Bills obviously didn't think he was even worth that. I understand the need to fill some holes but Losman isn't causing anyone to run from us. I see more and more posters are becoming impatient. That's understood but lets wait until the first mini-camp, right after the draft, to see what we have lining up.
