  1. Do you get a rotating cup if you're a season ticket holder ? Where the hell is my perk, TD ?
  2. Uh oh. It's getting nasty.
  3. Robert James - Fisk University ! Wait, where am I ? What year is this ?
  4. Dammit ! Talk about missed opportunity !
  5. They used to have Refer Madness night there on Fridays. They'd show the old movie. The second they dimmed the lights you'd see about 400 lighters ignite.
  6. Quit gazing wantingly at your cousin .
  7. Bro, it's tofu, herbal tea and some Bledsoe 8x10's.
  8. Completely agree that's one of the positions being considered in Round 2, along with Center and DT. A much needed backup RB in round 3 or 4 would also be wise.
  9. Center, DT or CB in Round 2. After that, who knows ? Also need a backup RB somewhere in the 3rd or 4th round.
  10. Flays is long gone. The Colonie Lounge on Hertel was closed for years and then reopened a few years back.
  11. Do you think Smith, Sobieski or Bannan make the final roster ? McFarland may only get one more year but how many journeyman without any real starting ability do we need ? Gandy may be the Marcus Price replacement. Baas or Spencer could be starting next year, at the latest. I like Tucker but can he be a frontline starter or just a good versitile backup at C/G ? I do agree with the CB idea and have mentioned that in other threads. I'm not sure they'd take another stab at TE, at least not this year. Campbell sounds like he'll be ready, from a recent report.
  12. He'll backup Dylan McFarland.
  13. Sweet Jesus ! Let me find you a headhunter for Buffalo or Rochester. We need that good Karma back in WNY.
  14. Except those round 2 ideas. Come on Harv, OL baby ! Baas or Spencer.
  15. In answering LA's question, I agree completely with Labatts outlook for round 2. If either Baas or Spencer are available, they'd be hard to pass on. The only 2 Centers who could start immediately, whether you needed them to or not. Baas can also start at Guard. Teague is in the last year of his contract, I believe. Still, history shows you never know with the Bills. They were checking out DT Attaj Hawthorne of Wisconson. Could be a CB, with the Clements situation in mind.
  16. Did Shelton pass the Bills physical when he visted 4-5 weeks back ? A few folks here posted he may have a chronic ankle problem. ( where was that discussed ? couldn't find that info anywhere ? ) After reading several pro scouting reports, he seems to have pretty fair ability. Not great but pretty good. Good run blocker, fair pass blocker. With Losman having a tendency to roll to his right, he won't be a sitting duck to a blindside hit from the left. If we just get a workmanlike effort from him on pass protection, we'll be fine. Seems like our best option, if he's healthy.
  17. Glad all is well. All the best for Mary !
  18. Great news !
  19. It was only week 2 of the season !
  20. Sept. 1968 - Lost to The Raiders 48-6 2 weeks later, saw the Bills shock the Jets 37-35, their only win of the year. The Jets won Superbowl III that year.
  21. No wonder Pat Williams left. He was offered $10.50 an hour.
  22. People scream at the idea of Drafting one of the greatest Kickers in the history of college football ( Nugent )... but are willing to draft a guy in Round 2, with no experience at his projected position, based strickly on potential. I'm rooting for the guy to make it but we have some glaring needs to be filled. If we were one of those teams with extra picks in the draft, then I could see the gamble.
  23. Thanks for the positive report, GG. One thing you can't teach is immense power and physical size. Anderson moves in a limited area but was signed primarily to be a road grader for the running game. The post draft mini camp will be interesting. McNally said he wanted to look at some Lineman at a couple positions and have it settled, prior to Fisher summer camp. Lets hope we have 1 or 2 more new faces by then.
