You got that right. BTW it was manufactured in May 06 so not newly manufactured.

Our is about 2" above the top lip of the pool and extends to the inside edge of the lip. This allows enough room for the cover when the pools closed for the winter and also allows for sitting on the deck w/feet in the water cold beer in hand when the pools open in the summer.

It's a poly-blahblahblah cover...I think it was polypropylene. As far as I know it's the exact same cover that was sitting there the 1st time I went in.

Ice cream companies all blame the economy: Milk prices are up more than 50 percent from two years ago. Egg prices are up. Everyone knows gas prices are up. This weekend I bought a cover for my pop-up camper. When we priced it in FEB it was $42...Saturday we paid $59 at the exact same place where we priced it in FEB. The excuse for the price increase? The cost of gas!

Not true everywhere. Here in Va we have Farm Fresh Supermarkets. If they're offering a buy 1 get 1 and you only want 1 it's half price. Amazing but true. I'm very fortunate as retired Navy in that we shop at the commissary. Yesterday we filled a cart at the commissary and out the door after coupons was less than $125.
