I can remember (barely) the other bands. I also recall (I think) people literally rolling in kegs of beer on dollies and passing around gallon jugs of hard cider. God, remember that stuff? Just dump in a packet of kool aid and drink it straight outta the jug. It's a wonder we have lived this long. But it sure was fun! I also remember seeing 38 Special in 80 after I joined the Navy and being shocked by how mych Ronnies brother Donnie looked so much like him.

My wife asked if I had fun building the "no"man, doing, "no"angels, etc. She also says she wants to find the weatherman that started the snow rumor and kick him in the balls!

As Dev pointed out we were forecasted to get up to six inches of snow in SE Va & NE CN. WE GOT NUFFIN NOTTA ZILCH!!! But we were ready, every school system in the region was closed for the day. A SNOW DAY WITHOUT THE SNOW!!!

It was a breezy 36 here in JAX this morning...flying home to Va Beach in a couple hours where it's s'posed to be around 25.

We stayed there about 5 years ago and construction was in full swing while we were there. They have doubled in size and the original half of the resort is still adults only while the new part is families. we would love to go back in April but a 7 day stay is close to $4000 including air. Can't justify spending that kind of green in the current environment. I have a full week off so we're checking out resorts daily.

If you want to go on the cheap (relative term) I would recommend Apple Vacations. In cancun top of the line is Palace Resorts. My wife and I stayed at one of their adult only resorts (Aventura Palace) and it was unbelievable but pricey. They have 5 or 6 other locations in Cancun that are family oriented and very nice. Have fun and enjoy a XX or 2.
