  1. He was just showing respect What an arrogant BEOTCH!!!!
  2. Nope not at all. But thats probably because I retired here and jumped right into a job working for the Navy doing what I love to do which is teaching sailors.
  3. Of the cities on the list the only one I've spent any real time driving in was SD. I absolutely hated it! :censored:ing rude people for such a "laid back" place.
  4. Joined the Navy in Feb 1979...was stationed on the USS America CV-66, NAS Pensacola, USS Spiegel Grove LSD-32, Fleet Training Group GTMO, Naval Guided Missile School Dam Neck Va, USS Ponce LPD-15, Shore Intermediate Maintenance Facility Norfolk Va, Retired in Mar 1999 with 20+ years as a Chief Machinist Mate (SW). Sometimes I really hated it, but now I wouldn't change a thing! One day I was a young sailor the next thing I knew I was 39 years old and collecting a pension for the rest of my life. Pays both the mortgage and !
  5. Being moved to PPP in 3, 2, 1.
  6. Not my 1st but most definitely my favorite was a car I bought when I was stationed in GTMO 89-92. It was a 71 Pontiac Bonneville and had been on the island since it was brand new in 71. It was all original, including no liner in the ceiling so of course I spray painted it goldish to match the exterior. It had a huge red/white dive flag on the trunk lid, which BTW leaked like a sieve but the trunk held water great! The passenger seat belt didn't buckle so whoever was riding shotgun had to tie it in a knot. Thats not so bad since the speed limit on the base was 25. A pic of my GTMO Special (not the actual)
  7. I'm on a roll with my alcohol themed threads today!
  8. Like I said I'm pretty sure he was selected because of his record, not randomly. That's the thing, should I who has never been arrested, spent 20 years in the Navy be subject to this kind of search without due cause? I definitely lean to the right on damn near every issue but this isn't one of them. The issue isn't that this perv got searched and arrested (as he should have been arrested), it's should each and every one of us be subject to this if we're not on the "watch list".
  9. I'm surprised none of you caught this little snippet: The property includes two guest houses, a pool, a putting green, a 5,000-bottle wine cellar and a pond stocked with fresh bass. As opposed to what old moldy dead Bass?
  10. I don't post in PPP very often because well it's just plain scary in here but I thought this was the place to post this. I had no idea this policy was in use. I'm not condoning in any way what this guy had on his computer. I'm sure he was pulled aside because of his past, but does that make these searches right? I'm interested to see what some you think about this. Link
  11. I looked to make sure there wasn't one before I posted this. I was certain someone would have beat me to it.
  12. I got the same letter Pooj but it was addressed to the parents of my 17 yo son which means it was his personal data but since I'm retired military it's really my data. Don't worry I know what I'm talking about here.
  13. Linky Not sure if I agree with the order but I do agree with their #1. As much as I hate to admit it, it's still must see TV for me.
  14. I remember the Wild Mouse scaring the crap out of me when I was a kid.
  15. Oral hygiene will not be tolerated by TSA!
  16. I have an MPEG of this with a bunch of chimps in a bar telling the joke...frigging hilarious! Wish I knew how to post it here.
