Don't worry guys, our Offense is going to come out and save...the...day... -

Sadly, that's my thought as well. I guess they are just giving the Offense more time to think of ways to screw up the next offensive drive. -

I'd say "at least we have plenty of options of upgrading our team in FA"...but we all know thats not going to happen. -

For those with the option, check out the Saints vs Rams game. Rams are playing them reaaaallly tough and Drew Brees is having flashbacks to his first few years in San Diego with the mistakes he's making. Saints on the move though at the start of the 4th...fun game! -

You ever get the impression that other teams just don't care when we put them in 3rd and long? It's like they know we are going to screw it up and allow a 10 yard gain regardless. -

Man if the Titans are smart (and we know they are) they won't even attempt to put this in Young's hands. Just a heavy dose of Chris Johnson should slip us into the sweet embrace of another Dick Jauron loss. -

Dick wouldn't have clapped in that situation. He would have scrunched up his face and did a solemn nod. -

Jauron must have been terrified for a second...the team almost scored another TD! Thankfully McKinney bailed us out of that terrible situation -

Honestly, this statement could have been said ANY time during the last 5 years and I'd completely agree. -
Whitner calls out offense...

That might mean something if it was coming from a player who...you know...pulled his own weight. -

Another Possible although not Probable Idea for HC

I still feel strongly that our HC will be Jack Del Rio. Just makes sense on every level. -
Holmgren wants to coach on the east coast
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Bruuuuce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've said it before and I'll say it again...our next head coach will be Jack Del Rio. Fits in perfectly with how the Bills "brain trust" thinks. And I'm fairly certain that Shanny will end up as the Redskins HC. Holmgren won't want anything to do with Washington, I wouldnt be surprised to see him give Carolina a shot though if Cowher wants to keep golfing. -
I'm probably going to renew, if only for the fact that this is the first time in my life I have the option of being a season ticket holder for any lengthy amount of time. Ever since I was 5 years old I've been a Bills fan (thanks to my Mom who is a diehard Bills lunatic) but I've lived in countless places over the years. Albany, Brooklyn, Charleston SC, San Antonio TX, Guthrie KY, the island of Malta and then back to the Capital Region. No matter where I was I always carried my Bills gear with me, which garnered me strange stares in the South and confused questions from students in the Mediterranean. My fiance received a scholarship to finish up her masters here in Western New York and I more than happily obliged (and...you know...pushed her out here). I know in two years I'll be living in Phoenix, Arizona...so I'm making the most of this while I have it. I'll renew...but I'll completely understand if others dont.

The avatar is kinda tongue-in-cheek, just because there was SO much man-love going on earlier this year for Tim Tebow to be drafted by the Bills. I do think McCoy is the best senior QB in this year's draft, but that isn't saying much in a year of gimmicky QB prospects. The Bills would probably be best served drafting one of those stud OTs (or two...or three...) and looking for a possible QB upgrade via cuts or trade. And as for Ellison's replacement...I'd like to see what Nic Harris can do. This season is a wash, we all know it. So why not see exactly what we have in Harris, otherwise we'll have a thousand fans a week clamoring for an unknown to start next season. If we start Harris this year and he blows...hey...we know. No harm, no foul since this season has already been an affront to God. Otherwise he'll hang around the roster and just be the 2010 version of Joe Burns, Lionel Gates, Jeremy McDaniel, Leif Larsen, etc etc etc. I'm just amazingly perplexed at how our FO could trot so many friggin linebackers in this offseason in a clear attempt to upgrade Keith's position and not be able to sign a single one of them. They basically went out of their way to publically show how they thought Ellison couldn't be a viable starter and then did nothing to actually get him out of the lineup. That is ineptitude in it's purest form. I look at this year's upcoming FA LB class and it is loaded with talent...I don't know why I get excited though, the Bills will probably parade them into One Bills Drive and then wave goodbye just like they did this past offseason.

Fewell now ahead of April as interim HC
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still say the next HC of this team is Jack Del Rio. It makes perfect sense. He's a "tough guy" who can whip these guys into shape (in Ralph's mind) and has HC experience but at the same time he's done very little in terms of overall record. Just barely above .500 and only two playoff trips to show for it. He'd come cheaper than the big names too, so Ralph will like that. He's our man. -
Thank god the Bills took Maybin and not Cushing
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Cru Jones's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Problem with this argument is if we listened to Bills fans, we would be saying "I can't F'N believe we took Everette Brown and not Jairus Byrd in the 2nd round!" Its all relative. -
Well at least we have two weeks for Byrd to get better. Unfortunately we have two weeks for Ellison to get better.

Help us Obi Wan Kellobi, you're our only hope! (Again)

Man, you're on a roll today.

Look at these stats...

I truly believe the Bills are good at individual positions but bad at the game of football. You kinda need to be good at football to win in the NFL. -
Clements was, and still is, a huge gambler on Defense. That's probably the main reason I was okay with letting him go. For every "Wow, that was an amazing one handed INT by Nate" there was a dozen of "I can't believe Clements got beat on that out route".
