  1. I still believe he'll come back from that. Few people seem to remember Kevin Curtis (a WR mind you) when his leg snapped completely in half during the preseason a few years ago. He's back and playing fine, in fact the best season of his career came AFTER his horrific leg injury. I've got my fingers crossed that Wood will be ready to go in 2010, It would be a damn shame to lose your career this early.
  2. This is going to be one of those games that we'll end up losing, but Jax won't deserve the credit for winning either.
  3. Bills need points on this drive, plain and simple.
  4. Agreed...and while it looked horrible (and you HOPE his career isn't over before it began), we've seen plenty of players come back from horrific leg breaks before. Kevin Curtis when he was with the Rams instantly springs to mind where his leg snapped like a twig in that preseason game. Derrick Ward is another who broke his leg badly and came back. Obviously if this was in the 80s, his career would 100% be over.
  5. Ayup. That looked like a career ender to me as well.
  6. That's two TDs brought back due to penalties. Your Buffalo Bills ladies and gentlemen.
  7. Hopefully. But that's a massive setback for this entire team, losing your first rounder like that.
  8. Do we have any friggin O-Lineman left?
  9. One of our most promising rookies...out with a leg injury. Hopefully that won't effect him next season.
  10. I like it when they offer the free burrito promotion with the free coffee promotion from Tim Horton's. Buffalo Bills: Hurting their fans' colons one play at a time.
  11. Scott was just playing smart. He knows that Fitzpatrick only responds with a long field in front of him. He was just trying to make the field longer. Good job Scott!
  12. I think we get penalized for that.
  13. We should probably keep throwing to that TO guy. That seems to be working. Just a thought.
  14. Same way we always screw it up. Our Defense gets winded and our Offense produces a late turnover.
  15. Thank God our best player, Penalty Flag, made a good play during that last Jax series.
  16. 10 million dollars should get us pretty damn good coach. Here's hoping we get a coach who wants to solidify his legacy by rebuilding this franchise.
  17. Come on Defense...get us the ball back quickly.
  18. Its okay guys. As long as we keep Fitzpatrick in 98 yard drives, we'll be fine.
  19. Holy crap...our QB has more than 250 yards passing!
  20. Something I was thinking about today...let's just say that we stick with Levitre for the rest of the season at LT and he proves himself capable. Next season we're looking at Levitre, Wood, Hangartner and Butler on our O-Line. Does it not seem like we'll be stuck in the same "musical chairs" situation we are in now? Would we play Butler at RT? RG? Would we upgrade him right out of the starting lineup with 2 new O-Line starters? Questions, questions...here's hoping Shanahan is up to it.
  21. I think its about time for another Byrd-Man sighting, with him putting us in great field position...only to watch our Offense flub it away.
  22. They'll wait until the 4th quarter, that's their usual shtick.
  23. I'm definitely in the camp that believes we need to upgrade our DT and LB spots, but I see far more chances to do so in Free Agency than I do in the draft. Guys like Barrett Ruud, Shawne Merriman, Karlos Dansby, DeMeco Ryans, Thomas Davis, Kirk Morrison, Thomas Howard, D'Qwell Jackson, Chase Blackburn, Gary Brackett, Chris Gocong and Derrick Johnson are all slated to be free agents this upcoming season at LB. That's a pretty damn impressive group, even if a few of them get slapped with the ol' franchise tag or re-sign. I hope we use our first or second pick on another O-Lineman, I feel that with Levitre, Wood, Hangartner and Butler we have a decent foundation for the future but we still need more depth along the O-Line.
  24. Huh. Well if that's accurate, at least it shows they actually ARE offering the job to high-caliber coaches and it isn't just a smokescreen.
