  1. Every single one of those OTs are RFAs (sans Mawae and Clifton) and will probably be tendered the highest amount, costing us a first and a third. That website has yet to update for the failure to agree to a new CBA, so all of the stud LTs are RFAs...unfortunately.
  2. Two years ago the Bills had the 4th highest payroll in the NFL. It's not that Ralph doesn't spend money, he just doesn't spend it wisely.
  3. My "dream team" for worst announce crew ever would have to be Joe Buck as play-by-play, Phil Simms as color commentary and Tony Siragusa as sideline reporter. *shudder*
  4. That would be a great pick. Bulaga is going to be a force at the next level, I like him a hell of a lot more than Anthony Davis who has inconsistency problems and at times looks like he'd rather be doing anything other than playing football.
  5. I would but most have them have become Saints fans now.
  6. You all realize that this "offensive coordinator" position is nothing but a glamorous errand boy position? We weren't going to attract any big name coordinators when Gailey came out and basically said he's in control of the offense.
  7. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-modkins-as-oc/ Here's some more info on the guy, knew Gailey from G-Tech. http://www.kcchiefs.com/coach/curtis_modkins/ Not that this is a big deal considering Gailey will be calling all of the plays. Still though, I guess you could say he had some success with Beanie Wells this year.
  8. God I hate Wikipedia. This basically assures me that he won't be coming here.
  9. Good find, good article. Plus its probably the first time I've heard Pepper Johnson's name since 1997.
  10. The only D-Coach that I want to keep on this staff is George Catavolos, he did an amazing job with the rookie DBs last year and got great production from every player in the secondary (sans McKelvin).
  11. Tully Banta-Cain is waaaaaaaaay underrated IMO. He finally got a chance to start this year and prove his worth, and all he did was get 10 sacks in 10 games starting. He would be a first day FA visit if I had my way.
  12. It would definitely help us land guys like Wilfork, Seymour and Banta-Cain in FA...
  13. LT: Bulaga QB: Edwards
  14. Percy Harvin = Bill Schroeder 2.0. The guy is just an extension of Brett Favre's arm.
  15. Greer got a decent contract from New Orleans.
  16. He's Ko Simpson and he's worth...a 7th rounder... Hmmmmm...any idea if the compensatory picks change because of the CBA? I wonder if we're in line for any more picks this year.
  17. Good for the magician! To be honest, I dont think we've missed him that much so it's easier to root for the guy.
  18. Great post, makes it real easy to search. And yes Leonidas, this list does reflect the CBA rules for FAs which is why you see so many RFAs on it. In terms of UFAs, we have to remember that Nix said that he wants to build through the draft so do not expect big name free agent signings. I'm also going to initially assume we stick with the 4-3. So with that in mind, my realistic outlook on FA is: Kevin Walter, WR from the Texans (6'3 but really shifty, would complement Evans very well) Levi Jones, OT from the Redskins (We should have done this last year, he really started to come in during the last 8 games of the season) Artis Hicks, OT from Vikings (Not really well known, but he's been in the league awhile and has some starts under his belt at both OT and OG. Good depth and insurance in case Wood can't make it back) Dwan Edwards, DE from Baltimore (Finally got a chance to start and proved what a good run stuffer he is...not much of a pass rusher though so hopefully Schobel stays on for one more year) Tully Banta-Cain, OLB from Patriots (Even if we do stick with a 4-3, I feel like he's got the speed to play OLB and is still an upgrade over Ellison). Obviously that list changes dramatically if we go to a 3-4 (which there seems to be a lot more UFA options for). We'll know in a week I suppose! Plus, I truly believe the Bills will trade for a QB during the offseason.
  19. *sigh* 2000 Miami Dolphins Defense: 3rd in pts allowed, 6th in yards allowed 2001 Miami Dolphins Defense: 11th in pts allowed, 5th in yards allowed 2002 Miami Dolphins Defense: 4th in pts allowed, 3rd in yards allowed 2003 Miami Dolphins Defense: 3rd in pts allowed, 10th in yards allowed. But I'm sure he still sucks. I mean, I'm sure Shanahan didn't micromanage him and he had SO much talent last year in Tampa Bay to work with...I'll let everyone get back to hating on one of the most accomplished d-coordinators available.
  20. If we're sticking with the 4-3, I'd love to get Bates in here.
  21. Signing Florence was a shockingly competent move by a normally idiotic front office.
  22. Brian Moorman. Actually, he's amazingly 2 out of those 3.
  23. I would crap myself in joy if we could land both of them.
  24. They did "technically" sell out every game if I remember correctly. Its amazing but that Colts game was the only one that was ever really in serious danger of not being a sell-out and that game ended up being the most fun of all of them.
  25. I'm going to guess Michael Vick or Tim Tebow.
