  1. According to that site, he's STILL better than any of our tackles currently on roster! Upgrade! This is a depth move, pure and simple.
  2. Props to both of you. Very good thing you guys are doing.
  3. Just wait until the draft rolls around and we take Tebow or McCoy in the 2nd. We'll have even more backups then.
  4. Here's hoping. If I had my way we would sign every offensive line free agent out there.
  5. The #1 complaint during the season was lack of depth for the O-Line. We've brought in 2 depth O-Linemen over the last 72 hours. People are NOW complaining about those players. The one thing that has driven me crazy over the last few years is how the Bills have had no depth behind their O-Line starters. If Wade Smith and Cornell Green are signed as our first lines of defenses in case of injury, we've already taken a step forward. Hopefully the Bills continue to research this with guys like Levi Jones and Adam Terry also available and then sign the best of them.
  6. Bills would be foolish not to sign him. Veteran O-Line depth has been completely ignored for a looooooooooooong time in Buffalo. I'd rather have a guy who has started a majority of the last 3 years at tackle as our primary backup than a young player who is forced to learn on the job.
  7. I'd place dollars to delicious donuts that Dwan Edwards signs with another team by the end of today
  8. Tebow? I'm not a Tebow fan by any means but Tebow has never been accused of having a "noodle arm". In fact, one of the few positives about him is that he does have an arm for all of the NFL throws. PLENTY of other things to rag on Tebow about though.
  9. Did free agency end already? Damn you Goodell, how dare you enforce the 72 hour free agency window!
  10. Didnt Kordell Stewart, in his first season as a QB (under Gailey's offense) take the Steelers to the AFC Championship game? And didn't Tyler Thigpen manage a 20 TD, 3 rushing TD, 12 INT season under Gailey? Neither of those guys are megastars by any means but a championship appearance and a 23 TD production from a QB is still fairly productive in my books.
  11. Porter has no shot of coming here. He's already gone on record saying he wants to play on the West Coast and the fact that it's already been announced he's visiting the Cards on Thursday probably means the Bills contacted him first and he declined. I still would put good money on other OLB options coming in for a visit this week though.
  12. Can never have too little offensive lineman for depth purposes. I'm hoping he and Smith sign this week.
  13. Jack, Jack, Jack. Clearly you meant to say "buy everyone on The Wall a beer at the Home Opener"
  14. Both players could have definitely helped us.
  15. The more I think about this...and the more I think about Chan Gailey's success with scrambling, wacky QBs...this might actually happen.
  16. Just because you told me not to, I just renewed.
  17. Sal just tweeted he never mentioned anything about Joey Porter and was never on Sirius so we can all say goodbye to the original poster and this rumor.
  18. More like "down the road" from within To put a damper on things, I just heard that Tony Pashos signed with the Browns. The Bills really need to start focusing on bringing in some talent to the O-Line. Adam Terry needs to be brought in for an interview, I feel like a change of scenery would do him good.
  19. Don't be surprised if Akin Ayodele doesn't visit Tuesday either. But you didn't hear that from me From what I was just told a few minutes ago, this week will erase people's complaints about the Bills not being active.
  20. Totally don't want Jake Delhomme or Kevin Mawae, both are damaged goods at this point in their careers. But you are correct, the rest of those names would be great additions to our squad. I'd also throw in the names Levi Jones and Adam Terry. They'd give us instant starters on both the LT and RT spots and allow us some flexibility with our first rounder.
  21. He was walking with a boot on a month ago and was rehabbing in Buffalo for the last two months. Even better, Chan Gailey told the media that Wood is actually "ahead of schedule". I'm not sure if he's going to be 100% this year, but he will play. BTW, if he does manage to come back before training camp his legend will only grow in Buffalo.
  22. I dont think he's signed yet, but I hope he does. He's an excellent backup Guard who can actually also play Center and Tackle. That type of versatility is something every team should have. The Bills would be wise to bring him in, hopefully bring in a guy like Adam Terry too.
  23. Holy crap, I had no idea that the Ravens did not tender Adam Terry. The Bills should be ALL OVER THIS if they were smart. He could step right into our RT void.
  24. Ive been saying for weeks that Wade Smith would be a great signing for Buffao. He provides excellent depth and can start in a pinch. 28 years old even gives him more upside than most of the O-Lineman available. He excells at run blocking and would be a great start to free agency.
  25. It would be #6, according to Schefter.
