  1. To play the devil's advocate here, he DID have Chris Cooley and Santana Moss. They're not great, but its not like he was working with the Chiefs offensive talent.
  2. If I were a Rams fan, I'd be veeeeeeeeeeeeeerry nervous about this little tidbit that came up. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...dium-committee/
  3. I'd be okay with this...especially Spikes in the 3rd, I know we already have decent ILB depth but damn...he'll be a stud in a pro style 3-4.
  4. While I agree that you have to be aggressive, you have to be smart aggressive. Technically Al Davis and Danny Snyder are aggressive every year and look at where that's gotten them.
  5. I've made peace with the fact that neither Bradford or Clausen will be available at our pick. If Clausen somehow gets past the Browns, DO NOT put it past Al Davis to take him a pick before us. A cocky California kid with a "me against the world" mentality? That's music to Al's ears.
  6. Its all posturing at this point. Not like Nix didn't know he was going to a luncheon full of reporters a week before the draft, I'm sure he had his bag o' lies all ready to go.
  7. Dan Williams, Colt McCoy, Selvish Capers
  8. And what about next year when the salary cap returns? Get rid of them all?
  9. I like Hecht, but our offense can survive without him...especially now that Ennis is on the big boy club and making a name for himself.
  10. If we could only get him a decent QB...
  11. Before we award JW victory, I just wanted to say one last thing. Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbreeeeeeessss!!! That is all.
  12. Just like signing TO last year, I agree. We have GOT to fix our lines and get a franchise QB in here before we start throwing draft picks around.
  13. With the first pick in the 2011 Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...Cornerback...*Riot ensues*
  14. There will be next year...(or, in 2012 if the lockout does indeed happen)
  15. That video has been around for awhile and it STILL cracks me up every time I see it.
  16. He's actually quite the opposite. One of the best things about him was his coverage skills when he would drop back and help cover the middle. Being a two-time consensus first team All-American is quite an accomplishment. Plus, Terrell Suggs, David Pollack, Elvis Dumervil, LaMarr Woodley, Chris Long and Brian Orakpo were the last winners of the Hendricks award. Not bad company. Would make a nice addition, but I feel like taking an OLB in the top 3 rounds means another year of neglecting our Offense.
  17. See, I would argue that we need a RT just as much as we need a LT so I'd be okay with that pick.
  18. Agreed. One would hope that its simply pre-draft posturing to the media, with Nix attempting to act nonchalant about the LT position in order to hopefully drive some talent down to the Bills picks. We'll see in about a week.
  19. Very good read. I've been thinking for awhile now that Colt McCoy is the guy they've wanted all along, since he seems to be the one they've mentioned the least in public. I'll admit though, I'd be very disappointed if we came away from the first 3 rounds without a new OT.
  20. I'm kinda hoping for a CJ Spiller in Round 1 and Tim Tebow in Round 2 to watch the board eat itself alive.
  21. The only positive thing to come out of the Dick Jauron coaching debacle was we were left with a very deep secondary. Odds are McKelvin gets the nod opposite of McGee.
  22. See kids? You too can beat up your girlfriend, get in trouble with the law close to a dozen times in your life and STILL get paid 10 million dollars a year! All joking aside, when he's on-the-field he is worth that much.
  23. That doesn't discredit it in the slightest.
